surround sound that works
Review of LG Electronics HT 902 TB by
dansteele316
Advantages: great sound
Disadvantages: hard to set up
...The surround system was purchased with my lg tv. I was looking for something that gives great sound for normal tv aswell as for dvd's.
This machine has the sound i required and lots of other features besides but the thing i found hardest was when setting it up so that you can have sound from a sky hd system running through it. The optical cable does not work between the two units so i had to sort it out with a normal composite cable, but eventually it worked.
The sound look of the machine is fantastic. Easy to use and you are able to up the resolution of old dvd's to nearly hd, if you have a hd tv.
There are many options in the sound department from theatre, hall stage and so on and its real easy to change them unlike some other systems i have had in the past.
You get the standing speakers with this system and they are fantastic...

LG 42PC56
Review of LG Electronics 42 PC 56 by
Kirsty1975
Advantages: Great quality picture, built in freeview, easy to use EPG, great sound
Disadvantages: Can't think of any
...Had this for over a month and it's great. It is 100Hz (not 50Hz as stated) and the picture quality is fantastic!!! Sound quality is fab too. Easy to set up. Great variations on screen sizes and easy to adjust the picture quality using it's XD Engine. It also has in built freeview which is clear as a bell to watch unlike some boxes I have used in the past. EPG is easy to use. Remote control is good and if you have other LG products it might even control them too. I have mine on a stand but can be wall mounted to save space. Great looking in your living room too. I could ramble on about it but there is no point, it is just EXCELLENT!!!...

The LG Touch Screen Chocolate K800
Review of LG Chocolate KG800 by
hr1392
Advantages: 128 MB Built in memory.
Disadvantages: N/A
...The Lg chocolate was bought for me as my phone was stolen, and since then this phone has been the best, it has 128mb built in memory and holds around 20 to 25 songs and even with that amount of songs you still have space for videos and pics..
The camera is 2 mega pixel, but is still good quality.
This fone is durable as i have dropped it several times and it still works. It holds 150 messages and around 200 contacts this phone is fantastic and with it coming down in price to around about £80 i would grab myself a bargain by getting the Lg Chocolate.
In the pack you get 2 Piece headphone and hands free kit, charger(household) and a protective sleeve, a lead from USB to phone and an instruction booklet.
It is touchscreen to and it is brilliant.(Doesn't work if you are wearing gloves, gloves have to be taken off for touch screen to work...

LG RZ 42PX 11 is great value!
Review of LG Electronics RZ 42PX 11 by
peanut1973
Advantages: Excellent Value For Money
Disadvantages: Picture quality not quite as expected.
...Sitting at the bottom end of the price bracket for 42" plasma televisions, the LG RZ 42PX 11 is surprisingly good. LG make good quality products and this one stands out. The picture quality on analogue and DTV can be a little juddery at times; however the picture quality on DVD and Xbox is amazing. It is packed with features to enhance picture and sound quality (the sound is excellent and fills the room with ease), with a very easy to use menu system. We found setting up a doddle, and really appreciate the multiple inputs (5 scarts and PC/camera inputs) as our system is all set up and no fiddling of wires is now needed.
The design is simple and stylish, with minimum clutter on the front and accessible inputs on the side. The stand is uncomplicated and sturdy, and the whole package looks great.
I would have no hesitation recommending...

LG GDR 8163B I love it
Review of LG GDR 8163B by
techman1862
Advantages: Brilliant and works with all disks i have used so far
Disadvantages: none really
...This LG GDR 8163B is the latest DVD-RW drive from LG and as per usual is Brillaint to use.
This is dual layer drive....8.5GB potential
Burns CDr's at 40x about 2 min 32 secs @600mb on an 80min/ 700meg cdr. Also does CDRW
DVD-r are a breese and the drive is very fast and quite.
DVD+r little slower but works fine with all mainstream disks.
DVD-Ram too but the disks a bit expensive so farfor me to try.
DVD-RW disks are a breese again using Nero newest version and back-up data is straight forward.
Have used Datawrite Grey 8x DVD-R and INFINITI 16x Green DVD-R no probs. But would suggest spending a little moer on good disks.
8XDVD-r time is about 7 mins for 4gb data and 7min 50 secs for DVD files.
Overall good machine and well worth the current cost of £35-£32....

LG Dishwasher LD-2050 (Bad Experience)
Review of LG Electronics LD -2050 by
watso75
Advantages: Efficent, Quiet,
Disadvantages: Long cycle time
...Well what a poor experience ive had with what looked like a good dishwasher. Features looked superb, with digital display showing remaining time, 12 place settings, Effecicent & quiet, 6 wash modes including extra hot and intensive wash. This product has never washed properly from day 1 and leaves dirty residue on all of my dishes, especially glasses which I now wsh by hand. Maybe i was just an unlucky customer who had a faulty machine. I returned the product to Currys where I bought it and they told me I would have to ring LG and sort it out with them. Upon doing so LG sent an engineer round who would not replace the product and gave me a story about a faulty part. As I expected this did not work and I have had the engineer out 3 times since and has just been a waste of time and effort as it is no better than when I first bought it....

LG Viewty........ Brilliant!
Review of LG KU990 Viewty by
Jacklockyer
Advantages: 3G, 5 mega pixel camera, 3 inch touch screen, good speakers, high external memory capacity, google maps
Disadvantages: one thing.... the stylus storage is poor
...i bought the LG Viewty on a T-Mobile contract. the phone itself is brilliant, once you get used to touch-screen texting and its interface its really easy to use. it has 3G wireless internet which is faster then that of the Iphone and it can also be used as a wireless modem for your computer. the 5 megapixel camera has auto focus and auto iso which is perfect for taking great pictures, the phone also has Divx firmware so you can store and watch high quality Divx movies on your 3 inch widescreen phone. The design of the phone is also stunning, it's sleek and sophisicated, a design to rival the Iphone. The LG Viewty has many good points and only a very few bad ones, for example it gets slightly annoying if your a frequent texter like me not being able to write texts as fast. But overall this phone is Brilliant, highly recommend it, i've got...

LG Viewty
Review of LG KU990 Viewty by
thedunn1
Advantages: Can do almost anything on this handset
Disadvantages: Clumsy, hard to see in sunlight, annoying touch screen
...The LG Viewty is different to your average mobile. Better or worse I'm not sure yet and I've had a device for around a month now.
Unfortunately my LG did not come with a stylus so I cannot comment on that, however the touch screen responds to fingernail taps, albeit not always very well. Horrendous to use whilst on the move and impossible to see in the sun.
Vibrate function does not always work, nor does the message alert so texts can go unread for a while. Very poor signal in most areas which apparently is the fault of the handset and not the network.
Good internet access, good memory, camera is of a worse quality than a 3.2 mega pixel I had previously.
Not ideal for the fast texter and when ringing an automated number (e.g. Press 1 for Customer Service) the keypad disappears so the phone has to be unlocked and a menu accessed...
