LG secret. it's ok

Advantages: It looks nice and feels solid
Disadvantages: The camera is not great. it's a bit gimmiky and the touch pad is annoying

...the microphone, if left to hang from the earphones, would be by my belly button! so you'll need to clip it to your shirt and have a load of cable hanging around your neck. On the noise reduction: It cancels background noise well while. too well i found! i spoke to someone in the london traffic for quite some time. you cant hear the noise while the person on the other end is quiet, but when they talk the noise is still there (of course). but i found the result was that it made it sound like the person on the other end was breaking up the whole time, even though they had perfect reception without noise reduction your brain, i suppose, will do it's own filtering so you can hear what you want to hear. but the secret's filtering just left me asking "what?" "what was that, sorry?" i couldnt hear half of the conversation because...

LG secret = good phone

Advantages: camera, games, look of the phone,
Disadvantages: battery life, touchpad not good for big fingers!

...I got the LG Secret 8 days ago ( 18th birthday present!) and so far I'm pretty happy with it! It's part of the black label series, and has a very sleek design. The backcover is made up of a 'carbon fibre' material, which not noly looks good but 'apparently' is pretty durable to, although I'll have to wait a little longer to see how well it lasts. The front of the phone also looks pretty amazing too, the screen is nice and big and the touchpad ( made of tempered glass materials) lights up ( blue colour) when you press it. There is a central, slightly raised silver button, which leads to the menu, and is also used to select different functions. My fingers are tiny and I've had no problem whatsoever with the touchpad but my boyfriend ( who has v. large hands) finds it pretty annoying to use! The navigation around the menu is...

...The Lg secret offers you the comfort of a keypad and the novelty of a touch screen face. I chose the phone becasue of it's sleek design and after a year of using the phone I still like the way it looks. I think it is actually my favourite phone so far. The phone is light and thin so is easy to keep in pockets unnoticed. As a girl when I don't want to take a handbag with me, I need a phone that my husband is not going to mind holding. The phone is really easy to use and is very similar to nokia and sony erricson layouts. The touch screen can be very sensitive however and I have often become frustrated with making mistakes or pressing the wrong function during a call. The games and camera are really good fun....

Super sleek, won't stay a Secret for long!

...The LG Black Label Secret is my first phone in years not to be a Nokia. I got it as part of a free upgrade - I could've had the iPhone but opted for this as I've never got on well with iTunes and so on and liked the idea of having a phone which didn't demand that I converted everything I owned into its own format. I've had the phone for around three weeks, so obviously this review won't give the greatest indication of longevity, but should help with first impressions. LG Viewty

Advantages: Look, feel and sexyness of this phone
Disadvantages: Battery life

...The LG Viewty was the first touchscreen mobile phone to arrive on the market and it has set the way for the rest. It is very stylist and hardwearing. The 5 megapixel camera is fabulous and has made my usual digital camera redundent. I would recommend getting a contract with a good mobile internet package as the phone is excellent for looking at web pages. And has come in usefull on many trips to the pub quiz! Some downsides of the phone is whilst using it as an MP3 player it takes a while to scroll through the list of artists and the battery life is quite short, especially because the phone is so good you play with it alot! I would recommend this phone to anyone, and have already, 3 of my friends now have this phone too!...

LG Viewty

Advantages: Can do almost anything on this handset
Disadvantages: Clumsy, hard to see in sunlight, annoying touch screen

...The LG Viewty is different to your average mobile. Better or worse I'm not sure yet and I've had a device for around a month now. Unfortunately my LG did not come with a stylus so I cannot comment on that, however the touch screen responds to fingernail taps, albeit not always very well. Horrendous to use whilst on the move and impossible to see in the sun. Vibrate function does not always work, nor does the message alert so texts can go unread for a while. Very poor signal in most areas which apparently is the fault of the handset and not the network. Good internet access, good memory, camera is of a worse quality than a 3.2 mega pixel I had previously. Not ideal for the fast texter and when ringing an automated number (e.g. Press 1 for Customer Service) the keypad disappears so the phone has to be unlocked and a menu...
