...The LG KU990 Viewty mobile is an attractive phone and its styling is similar to the LG prada phone. It has a 3 inch lcd touchscreen which allows you to type, text messages,emails as well as scroll through web pages and record video as well as a whole host more. The touchscreen interactivity is very good and responsive.The Viewty has handwriting recognition which allows you to write on the screen with a stylus pen, but you can continue to type out emails on the touchscreen qwerty keyboard in the usual manner. The 5 megapixel camera is good and takes quality pictures.The size/quality of the pictures can be adjusted.An anti-blur feature is also incorporated.Normal camera settings such as effects and ISO settings are also present. The LG Viewty KU990 Mobile Phone

Advantages: Simple, Modern, Touchscreen, Large Screen
Disadvantages: Screen can scratch (but is protected!)

...This is a stunning phone, with a wide range of features. It has a cracking camera, and a beautiful large screen. It is my first LG phone, and easily one of the best I have owned. Personally I do not like the stylus, but it is easy and fast to use with just a finger. The menu screen is very clear and easy to understand, the online internet is outstanding, you can view web pages in both portrait and landscape which makes it easy to navigate. The phone does not arrive with much in terms of games, ringtones or such but they are very easy to put on using the supplied data cable, it plays music with a very good quality. It has all the usual features such as a calculator, converters etc, but also includes shortcuts to google maps and other such places. I only have to charge it every 4 or 5 days, maybe even more infrequent. Battery life...

The LG Cookie KP500 is a good quality, touchscreen mobile

Advantages: Very good value for money, good build quality, good touchscreen, decent (3mp) camera
Disadvantages: Battery life (and meter) is not very good, camera does not have flash, limited games and apps

...I have had this mobile for about 7 months so far. It has been (one of the) best mobiles I have bought. It was very good value for money and the build quality is very good (although for some reason the pink version is more 'plasticky' than the black one). The features on the mobile are what you would expect on a mobile in the price range of the KP500; not too bad but could do with more applications and games. I have however had to send it back once for repair because of a software problem; whenever I went to the music player the mobile froze. This was solved by a firmware update. The 3 inch (not too big, not too small) touchscreen is also very good for what it cost; it is responsive but not as good as the iPhone. Another problem is the battery life. It drains rather quickly and the battery meter does not work very well. It will stay...

...I got this phone yesterday morning and I decided to wait a bit before writing a review. I've been attached to this phone for the past 36 hours and I've sussed most things out. I got this phone after reading reviews on here and other mobile sites. The choice was between an LG Cookie and this phone, however, I wanted a phone that had similar features to my old Samsung G600 and I decided to go for this one! I bought it from Tesco on the Vodafone network as it was on offer for £97.86 (once you'd spent £30 in store). I got home and opened the box and I have to admit I was a little disappointed. ...I decided to treat myself to a brand new pay as you go mobile phone and I knew what I wanted and I knew that it was going to be on the orange network. The phone I am talking about is LG Viewty. The search began for the best possible price. I decided against getting the phone from Ebay as I wanted a brand new one which was boxed and never been open before. So why this model I chose this model purely because another family member has it and is always saying how good the phone is. Advantages: Can do almost anything on this handset
Disadvantages: Clumsy, hard to see in sunlight, annoying touch screen

...The LG Viewty is different to your average mobile. Better or worse I'm not sure yet and I've had a device for around a month now. Unfortunately my LG did not come with a stylus so I cannot comment on that, however the touch screen responds to fingernail taps, albeit not always very well. Horrendous to use whilst on the move and impossible to see in the sun. Vibrate function does not always work, nor does the message alert so texts can go unread for a while. Very poor signal in most areas which apparently is the fault of the handset and not the network. Good internet access, good memory, camera is of a worse quality than a 3.2 mega pixel I had previously. Not ideal for the fast texter and when ringing an automated number (e.g. Press 1 for Customer Service) the keypad disappears so the phone has to be unlocked and a menu...

Advantages: Look, feel and sexyness of this phone

...The LG Viewty was the first touchscreen mobile phone to arrive on the market and it has set the way for the rest. It is very stylist and hardwearing. The 5 megapixel camera is fabulous and has made my usual digital camera redundent. I would recommend getting a contract with a good mobile internet package as the phone is excellent for looking at web pages. And has come in usefull on many trips to the pub quiz! Some downsides of the phone is whilst using it as an MP3 player it takes a while to scroll through the list of artists and the battery life is quite short, especially because the phone is so good you play with it alot! I would recommend this phone to anyone, and have already, 3 of my friends now have this phone too!...
