Great touch screen phone from LG.

Advantages: Clear screen, easy to navigate menus, good quality camera
Disadvantages: Tinny suond playing MP3, software glitches, unable to view screen in daylight

...I've owned this phone now for around 12 months and am loving it, this is my first touch screen phone. First off, I have found the screen to be large (3.5") very clear with excellent colour reproduction. On the downside, the screen cannot be viewed in direct/bright sunlight or even outside on overcast days - this is a big disappointment, as it makes viewing messages when you are out extremely difficult. When I say I can't see anything I mean it, the phone might aswell be switched off! The battery life is great, I get as much as 7 days between charges if the phone hasn't been used much - which after 12 months use is superb, especially considering the large screen size. When the phone is used a lot I still get 3-4 days between charges, again this is excellent and I have yet to come across a phone that can better that. I have always...

Advantages: Camera photos are decent if you can get a picture, its relatively cheap to buy .
Disadvantages: Heavy, unattractive, uncomfortable to use, easy to scratch so the 'Shine' fades to a grey blur.

...i bought the LG shine about 7 months ago on contract with Orange. the contract only cost me £30 a month, which i thought was very reasonable for this phone, as it is quite expensive otherwise it has many functions, including : bluetooth, camera, video camera, internet access, mp3 player it also comes with a screen cleaner, headphones with a volume and track control attached to it, and a charger. a memory card can be inserted for more space. the screen of this phone also acts as a mirror, which is rather handy! i have this phone in silver, but it can also be bought in red, or black. the LG Shine is fairly easy to use, and is not too big or too small. the battery of this phone is pretty good, and from past experience i know that another battery can be bought very easily and cheaply....

It was light weight, thin and had the sliding feature which i love in a phone. I also really liked the scroller which i thought was really original. When i switched it on i found it was really easy to use and fell in love instantly. When i went to send my first text message i found that the keys stick a little bit and they dont always work which is a bit infuriating especially if you really need to send a text. ...I first purchased my LG shine the day it come out, i think it is a very stylish phone and has a stainless steal case which makes it look stylish with its silver but also very stong and robust protecting the phone from any drops or anything like that.The LCD mirror is a very cool feature of the phone which is very helpful to vein people such as myself lol. The camera on the phone takes extremely clear pictures but it doesn't have a very good zoom on it so therefore it makes it difficult to make pictures clear.The touchpad is good if you have had experience with this technology before but can get fairly annoying for the amateur phone user. also the scroll pad which allows you to scroll up and down the menu with a little scroller is a very cool aspect of the phone and makes it much easier to look around the menu. the battery is not too bad...
