A great budget external hard drive

Advantages: Good price available on the web. Quiet. Plug and play.
Disadvantages: Isn't really that portable. Bulky.

...Having learned the lesson that all essential data should be backed up the hard way a few years ago, I decided to purchase an external hard drive to do this job. I didn?t require a massive one, as I only wanted to back up pictures, music and documents, so I had a look around some local computer shops as well as on the web. I didn?t really require one of these new all singing all dancing models...

External Hard Drive Fun

Advantages: Size, Easy to Use, Quick, Simple
Disadvantages: Could be a little bigger in capacity

...This small external hard drive is very similar to some of the portable flash/pen drives that are going around at the moment. When I bought it a couple of years ago I was very impressed with what it could do making it easy to take files back and forth no matter where I went on a day to day basis. At the moment this external hard drive is selling for an average of £30 to £35 which isn't too bad...
