Its fully touch screen and its also quite small in comparison to other touch screen phones out there such as the iphone which is pretty big. Advantages: great all round well built touch phone.
Disadvantages: sometimes laggs and can scratch easily.

...The lg cookie is one of the best phones ive owned. It is fun, clever, easy to use, value for money and It is on almost all the best contracts. The fun displays and the touch stylus is really inventive. I bought this phone on the orange dolphin contract and apart from the slight laggyness I have been very happy with it. Its great for texting and the music and games are really easy to use. The camera is really quite impressive however the pictures sometimes blur and there is no flash. Video recording is also quite impressive and the sharp movements really standout. I think overall this phone is one of the best new touch phones out on the market and It would be a really good idea to look at the £15 a month dolphin contract with orange....

LG Cookie - A Tasty Treat

...The LG Cookie is the cheapest fully touchscreen phone on the market at this time. With its fully functional touch screen to rivals all of the more expensive phones even the iPhone. The LG Viewty is the last cheap touch screen phone from LG and one major problem that people said was that it does not have somewhere where you can easily store the stylus for the screen, it may sound petty and unimportant but it sure makes a difference when you can store it in a slot at the bottom. The 3.0 megapixel camera on the KP500 allows you to take some very impressive pictures as you can get higher quality on the phone than you can on many older digital cameras. You can also take videos with this phone making it very versatile if there is something you want to remember. Sadly in this phone you only get an internal memory of 47MB so you can not fit...

...The lg cookie (KP500) is the poor mans iphone. When I felt it was time to get a new phone I thought I would look on the review sites, such as ciao and others and every site seemed to say about the lg cookie, so I scoured the net for the price and found it between £90 - £110, thought not too bad, but then on o2 it was £25 pounds a month on a 24 month contract (600 mins + unlimited texts + ps3). When I received the phone it came with a battery, charger, usb cable, software to put on the pc to drag and drop pictures, music, etc. also a plastic cover for the touch screen (which I am glad of as I have heard that some touch screens tend to scratch and I cant handle a case, by the time you get it out of the case they have rung of). ...I have been using the LG Cookie for around six months now and I have discovered both pros and cons for this particular mobile. the main features if the phone are; mp3, radio, camera, video camera, expandable memory, bluetooth. I choose the phone for it's large screen and the scribe which can be used with it to make writing text easier. The camera is only 3 megapixel but I am impressed with the picture and video quality and I think that this is due to the size of the screen. The screen can be held vertically or horizontally to allow for easier text messaging (the screen becomes a qwerty keyboard when held horizontally). All functions are through touch screen but I find this to be difficult to use when trying to use the phone on the go. When I received the phone I was had problems with calling other people on it. ...dark light, you wont get amazing results owing there being no flash. I shall deal with the touch screen as a separate issue as it depends on how long you use the phone for. At first the touch capabilities are very difficult to grasp. This was unique with LG as I found that upon playing with the iphone, no comparison can be made. The iphone is in my opinion in a different league. Having said that, the Cookie will get easier to use from time. One of the most annoying elements is searching for a number through the scrolling capabilities. You occassionally find yourself calling numbers you never intended to call in the first instance! I found the QWERTY keyboard very handy for texts and after time you turn into a bit of a Whizz at texting using this function.
