Libya!
Advantages: Site seeing, natrual unexplored beauty, cheap to live, friendly warm people
Disadvantages: No night life, Internet problems,
...Libya is a wonderful country to visit. So many unexplored sites to see, where the media nor very many tourists have ever gone before. Partly due to the fact they are not promoted very much.
From personal experience, i have been to beaches, that have crstal clear waters, pure white sand, awesome blue sky, and not a soul in sight! Only silience, as there arent even sea gulls. It is really an amazing experience. You will not find places like these anymore, and time is running out as libya is starting to build its tourist industry, the best part of it will slowly die. So i reccomend going there and visiting all around and the suburbs of tripoli. Just too many places to discover cant even list them all here! But places like old italian buildings, ancient markets selling variety of goods, selling antiques for prices next to nothing as they...

Original,Fun,Cheap,Underated
Advantages: Good prices, Rich in history, Friendly people, Different cultures,Untouched
Disadvantages: People know very little about what this country has to offer
...The first thing that you are probably asking is why have I chosen to write about Tripoli in Libya!? Well, I lived there as a primary school student for 8 years, and I now visit there every summer. So I thought I would share my knowledge of this very interesting country.
The first thing I should do is dispell any rumours of Libya being an unsafe place. Libya has been in the media a great deal over the past two decades and many people have been given a bad first impression of this country. In the eighteen years I have been associated with the country I have never once been put in danger. As long as you respect the Libyan Laws and traditions then you have no reason to be afraid.
One of the laws is that there is no alcohol allowed. So if you are someone who has become reliant on alcohol perhaps this is not the place...

Me and My Shadow
Advantages: Saves me having to think of something to review
Disadvantages: ermm, none as of yet
...with a whirling dervish of chimpiness.
10. Favourite food:
No fair! My stomach is far too easily pleased for this category.
11. Been to Africa?
Lived in North Africa for 2 years, enjoying all the thrills and spills that Libya could throw at a 9 year old. Thank god for Lego.
12. Been to Camden?
Not for a while, but used to always make sure I visited if in the capital.
13. Loved somebody so much it made you cry?
Yep.
14. Been in a car accident?
Plenty of bike accidents involving me somersaulting over bonnets if that counts?
15. Croutons or bacon bits?
Bacon Bits.
16. Sprite or 7UP?
The agony of choice, 7 Up I suppose.
17: Favourite Movie:
North by Northwest...no...Get Carter...ermm...Long Good Friday...oh bugger, this is far too difficult.
18. Favourite Holiday:

Red Alert 2 Review
Advantages: Gives you something to do when it's wet outside and is an amazing game with great gameplay and graphics!
Disadvantages: There are hardly any but it does become very addictive. Is that a bad thing???
...After years of being completely out dated by everyone, I decided to stop playing Command and Conquer and rack myself up with a copy of Red Alert 2. I had been playing Command and Conquer games for... I don't know how long but but had always been satisfied with their top quality game play and graphics. I went and bought Red Alert 2 and started playing instantly. There are many diferent parts of the game to try your hand at. First of all you can try to complete all the levels with the allies or the soviets. There are a range of different countries in each army ie. In the Aliied army you can be France, Britain, Germany, Korea etc. and in the Soviet army you can be Russia, Cuba, Iraq, Libya etc. Each country has there own special unit. The British have the sniper, the Germans have takn destoyers while the Iraqies have Desolaters which...

Red Alert 2- A real game to be played
Advantages: Strategy game with high technology.
Disadvantages: I don't think there's any disadvantage.
...the defensive units, so you may be able to defense as well. So strike them hard then.
The music and the war grounds are very excellent. The background music keeps one motivated as it's a real war. It just looks like a real war and you are the commander. Thanks to it's graphic and sound team. The introductory video is about a war against Soviets and Allieds. The countries are Allieds: USA, Great Britian, Germany, Korea, France and the Soviets are: Libya, Iraq, Russia, Cuba, etc. Each of them has a special feature in them. Like US forces have paratrooper facility after building Airbase, Germany has a big gun tank that is very effective against enemy vehicles, etc. A very nice game to be played. Hope you like this review....

The James Bond of the Seas?
Advantages: A great story, with plenty of action
Disadvantages: Not so great character building
...Having read and enjoyed Cussler's latest in the Kurt Austin series, a character I'd encountered previously, I looked forward to meeting one of his recurring characters I hadn't come across before. Juan Cabrillo is captain of a ship called the Oregon and ''Corsair'' is the sixth in the series known as ''The Oregon Files''
Although Cabrillo is a ship's captain, the story was a lot more land based than much of Cussler's work. Heading for a peace conference in Libya, the American Secretary of State's plane crashes in the desert. Given the terrorist traditions of the area, her government suspect foul play and send Cabrillo to check if she may have survived. He arrives at the scene of the wreckage to discover that it has all been staged and the apparent accident may have been nothing of the kind. He suspects that the Secretary of State has...

Travellers Tales of the Ancients
Advantages: Some intriguing insights
Disadvantages: Not great literature
...and variation, and non-verbal emphasis. To read ?and that was the end of him? comes over flat when read from the page?but consider, say, Peter Ustinov finishing an oration with those words, consider the twinkle in the eye, the gestures that might accompany those words?.and don?t just Herodotus too harshly for the lack of literary finesse.
For those of us not certain that we really want to plough through 800 pages of pre-common era Greco-Persian politics, but might like a taste of what life was like, a mere eavesdropping on Herodotus rather than having to listen to the entire performance?those nice people at Penguin have included some of his digressions in their ?Great Journeys? series.
No. 1 in the collection, which in 20 slim volumes samples some of the greatest travel writing across the centuries, gives us Egypt and Libya circa 415 BC...

Disadvantages: Everyone is expendable, everything is insured
...win the second and third biggest deals in the north. BPs biggest ever oil exploration deal was also signed recently, that in Libya. But more about that later. I think the more astute of you have spotted a pattern forming.
BP`s exploration and production chief, Andy Inglis, said: "the deal gives BP "a presence in the Middle East working on the biggest Iraqi field...We are evry excited!"

Some intellectual types say people who entertain many conspiracy theories hold them as a mechanism to perhaps make the world seem more ordered than it obviously is, the need to feel someone is always in control so September 11 can't be capricious and so happen again. They need everything to have relevance and meaning, not be random acts of chaos. I would say there's some...

To Harman-Kind
Advantages: Harman? I'm not to blame
Disadvantages: The revolution is gathering pace
...of female, stiffly robust and less dainty than Libya?s counter-parts, but nevertheless ?all women?. Harman, you know where to reside next, when that day cuts you off of your extremities. Colonel Gaddafi?s long forty year reign has certainly made an alluring impression on women, stroke man women in the UK. In 1975 just before the rise of Thatcherism hit the shores, 31% of women were ?dual family earners?. Now today (2009) the percentage of women ?dual family earners? is touching 50%. The incredible stats are all since 2000 in regard of the diminishing UK male role in society. This is the Harman-Kind effect taking place.
I wonder whether the UK?s ever present alcohol ?binge culture? that has gripped the female lifestyle to such a level that they?ve been forced to fund their habit from an earlier age, hence, why they?re more likely to earn to pave...
