...We bought this fridge-freezer online and are very happy with it after a couple of weeks. The delivery was prior arranged and was on time as planned. The fridge itself its quite light so was easy to move into the position we wanted it. Also useful was the removable door handle which meant we could put it on the other side of the fridge which suited the position it is in. The inside is very well planned with lots of space. The adjustable shelves are a perk and the bottle rack, very useful. The freezer section is also very ergonomical and the frost-proof function is worth paying the extra money for. So far we have nothing whatsoever to complain about, and would say the appliance is very good value for money and would reccomend to all....

Leonard Liebherr.

Advantages: Spacious, well-designed fridge with additional compartments which keep food at optimum temperature and humidity.
Disadvantages: Very minor niggles about one shelf and I suspect two of the drawers might not last as long as the fidge.

My Liebherr KTES1840 revised review - now mended

Advantages: Strong constuction, easy to clean, large capacity
Disadvantages: Can't get any service or replies from Liebherr now it is broken

...I bought my Liebherr KTES1840 3 years ago, when we put a new kitchen in. I chose it because it was the largest internal capacity for the size, and it's strong construction. It is stainless steel, not just the door but the sides too. The shelves inside are all glass, so are very hygenic and easy to clean. All the shelves are removable for easy cleaning - absolutely perfect. The fridge has a built in thermometer that tells you the temperature, and can be adjusted. There is a fast cool button to cool down that bottle of wine you forgot to put in for dinner. It was a wonderful fridge but suddenly the food was warm, and it had gone wrong. I initially tried to contact Liebherr but their web site wasn't too helpful if you are not in Germany, Austria or Belgium. I did find a form to fill in to make an enquiry but this wasn...

Liebherr CTNES4653-20 - real kitchen style

Advantages: Excellent value for money, a real stainless steel FF
Disadvantages: Drainage hole sometimes gets blocked

...This is a real stainless steel fridge freezer. I ask you, why on earth don't kitchen appliance shops make it clear which items are real stainless steel and which are nasty sprayed silver things? Anyway, you need have no fear with this item - like all the Liebherr silver coloured things I have ever encountered it is real stainless steel. At a fraction of the normal price. I have had this machine for about 3 years now, and it has responded well to ordinary household use - which means not being defrosted regularly, being stuffed full of food, and generally suffering from benign neglect. I have had no problems except that the drainage hole at the bottom of the fridge (above the vegetable compartment) occasionally gets blocked - a drinking straw pushed down it clears it promptly. I am a Firdge Freezer

Advantages: It is a Fridge and a Freezer

...My oh so wonderfull landlord has just bought me one of these things cause the old fridge had blown up and it has a freezer too, thank you Mr Landlord. I have only had this baby for a week and I am in love, I was that excited about having my own freezer that I ran out a bought a ice cube tray thingy only to find out that it had one in the top drawer of the freezer compartment, which seems to be the only usefull thing you can put in the top drawer. There are three compartments in the freezer of the same size and most frozen products will fit niceley in them apart from frozen pizzas which have to be stuck in at a jaunty angle. You can also fit packets of square sausage in them as well, quite nicely. There is quite a lot of storage spage enough to last me for over amonth in the freezer alone. Arctic cooling Freezer 7 Pro

Advantages: Cheap, Powerfull and efficient
Disadvantages: A bit fiddly to install

...I upgraded to this Heat sink Fan unit from an Akasa one and the difference in temperatures was great! With the Akasa model i was peaking on full load at 62 degrees Celsius and with the new Arctic Freezer 7 Pro i am now peaking on full load at 46 degrees Celsius. (My tower also has 3 additional cooling fans as well so i had to point it out.) The Fan being mounted on the side of the Heat sink is a great idea as heat naturally rises. Also the fins at the bottom of the heat sink direct airflow towards the motherboard components which helps keep them cool. When this initially arrived in the post i was surprised at the size and weight of it. Its huge! It was a bit fiddly to install but the fan is detachable to help. For the price it is brilliant value for money....

Our first combined fridge freezer

Advantages: Good capacity for small family, no frost or condensation on interior walls.
Disadvantages: Freezer compartments quite tight for large items like pizza's etc

...This is a great fridge freezer for a small family. Our family is two adults and a child, and it copes very well with the weekly shop, although can be pretty packed. Starting at the top, from the outside, there are six buttons at the very top of the machine, three to either side of the digital display. The first on the left is the power button, which as you would imagine is used for switching the whole thing on and off. This is however an 'electronic' on/off switch therefore there will still be power going to the device if you don't switch off at the socket. One thing we noticed with these buttons is that they can quite easily be pushed 'in' and end up further back behind the facia than they should be. A gentle touch is all that is required!
