Revlon Skin Lights Diffusing Tint
Advantages: brightens skin
Disadvantages: very light coverage so not good for blemished skin
...I have been using this product for over a year now and am on my second bottle. I love it so much that I am not planning to replace my heavier foundation when it runs out as I only want to use this, of course, I'll keep some concealer on my makeup bag for those emergencies!
I cant really describe the smell of the liquid, which you should know, is quite runny. it smells sort of perfumed but it really just smells like any other foundation. Its got quite a rich consistency to it despite it being runny. My skin has never had a bad reaction to this product, it always goes on perfectly and lasts all day.
Skin lights comes in 4 shades to suit all skin colours. I use the very lightest shade as I have very pale skin. It costs £9 ish from all Revlon counters and is readily available in Boots.
Skin lights is made by Revlon and aims to...

I Have Seen The Light
Advantages: Makes skin look younger
Disadvantages: Expensive, difficult to get out of the bottle
...on the job the product is designed to do. It just looks dull, boring and sensible, certainly not my cup of tea.
Most of the products in this range are also available in Boots Number 7 range but with slightly different names, classier packaging and higher price tags.
The product I chose was Light Diffusing Serum, which comes in a black box, because it is from the ?conceal? section of products (the others being ?repair? and ?protect.?)
The information on the box claims that this product provides ?instantly younger looking skin? ? I was dubious. Instant results? It also claims to repair signs of ageing and protect the skin ? big claims, but amazingly enough, big claims which it lived up to very well.
It comes in a 30 ml frosted glass bottle, which is quite elegant and looks very nice on a dressing table because the serum itself is...

~ Hide me!~
Advantages: Cheap, great value for money, hides unwanted areas well
Disadvantages: Can show up a bit too much on skin when it's dry
...light diffusing concealer Illuminating Touch is a product designed to 'hide' unsightly areas on your face that you'd rather no one saw. With it's light diffusing particles in the ingredients, it claims to reflect light away from any spots or blemishes etc, rather than focusing on them which sounded great to me when I first came across it. I've used it on and off for a couple of years, and was always pretty pleased with the results.
The concealer itself is packaged in a long tube shaped like a pen. Take the cap of at the top and you'll see the start of a brush that is encased inside. The tube's contents are dispensed through the brush. Holding on to the bottom of the tube and twisting at the top in a clockwise direction allows the creamy liquid to come up through the strands.
HOW DO YOU APPLY IT?
When it comes to applying it to your...

Brighten up your Makeup
Advantages: cheap, blends easily, brightens eyes
Disadvantages: tube can be fiddly
...using your middle finger. The product blends easily, but the coverage isn't excellent, so you may need to apply more layers until you get the desired result.
The fact that this product is light diffusing means that it has a slight sheen and really brightens up the eye area without looking caked-on. Sometimes the product comes out of the tube not mixed and ends up being watery, but this doesn't happen very often.
I had to use this concealer over my normal foundation as I found that it rubbed off quite easily when worn underneath. I have also found that I can sometimes go without foundation as the concealer gave enough of a lightenng effect to my face. This is great for me as I can't be bothered to waste hours infront of the mirror in the morning, so I'm glad I've saved on one product.
I find that if I apply this product in the morning...

Why did they have to change! :(
Advantages: Relatively cheap, stocked in a wide range of places
Disadvantages: Little choice of shades, not as good as it used to be!
...Collection 2000 Light Diffusing Concealer
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~
I've always been one for a bargain but would much rather have one good, more expensive product that I new worked than lots of cheaper ones that don't do a lot of good. So when I found Collection 2000 Light Diffusing Concealer, my luck was certainly in! A under £3 a pop this concealer is an absolute bargain, and it is also top quality! At least it was?. My story starts now?.
It was a good couple of years ago that I was first introduced to this concealer. I had previously been testing products from a variety of different ranges and couldn't find one that suited me at all. When I spotted this one in Superdrug at a bargain price, I couldn't resist and didn't look back!
Back then, the concealer was sold in small circular tubes, with a screw on blue lid...

Review of Shaver Light ..
Advantages: Power and light just where you need it.
Disadvantages: Not portable like a battery shaver.
...I must mention that most of these have dual voltages, 115 and 220 volts, you simply flick a switch to change over.
Some have different outputs for the light, although 60 watts seems to be the norm, this is perfect for a close examination. They all have a diffuser fitted so there is no glare.
These light fittings are small and compact, and even attractive, they fit close to the wall and are not too intrusive.
The construction is mostly plastic, so they are easy to keep clean.
There is no great power drain with these fittings, so you can say you are doing your bit for the environment.
They use flourescent light, which is a very good light for showing up faces, useful for women to apply make up, not just for men to shave with.
I have an electric razor which I use on occasion, however I have fitted a three pin plug, so...

Switch the light on!
Advantages: Inexpensive.Easy to apply. Washes out well.
Disadvantages: Fiddly mixing although easy to do and apply.
...THE INSTRUCTIONS PROPERLY.
So there you are bods and bonces!
The other warning: it states on the instruction leaflet is to not wrap your hair in anything NOR cover the scalp -or use heat such as a hairdryer during the critical developing time.
-Do NOT exceed the stated maximum developing time.
There are really handy useful diagrams and pictures to help you achieve your new highlights step by step that will most flatter you, with whatever your length and style of hair.
You can add subtle high lights,or add definition, or dimension and or depth to short locks whatever your hearts' delight cares to go!
INEXPENSIVE :
£3.99 in good stores. Boots chemists supermarkets etc.
As little as £2.99 in thrift stores! Superdrugs...pound stores.
BUT DOES IT WORK?
Yes. It works and Anna's hair was pushed kicking and screaming into the future...

Hidden Perfection!
Advantages: Oil Free, UVA/UVB Protection, Suitable packaging
Disadvantages: Limited colours - about 3 or 4
...Collection 2000 - Light Diffusing Concealer
Since building my own eCommerce website selling cosmetics, I've become a bit of a makeup fanatic. My eyes naturally gravitate towards new packaging in Boots and brightly lit counters in Debenhams, whilst my fingers click away on eBay.
Unfortunately, I've been unable to source this fabulous new concealer for my own gains, but I can highly recommend Collection 2000's Light Diffusing Concealer to anyone with those unsightly dark circles, blemishes, and even the odd spot - heaven forbid!
Collection 2000 have retained their navy blue logo, but let me be the first to vouch for their improved range! The Light Diffusing Concealer, in my mind, far outweighs the market leading Touché Eclat by Yves St Laurent, which for a long time has reigned supreme in the professional world, let alone...

Illuminating the Night with Light in Style
Advantages: Powerful, lightweight, highly practical, stylish and excellent value for money.
Disadvantages: A bit too strong. Struggles with thicker books.
...INTRODUCTION
On Thursday, 12th November one of my most epic searches finally came to and end in the most unlikely of locations. In the Christmas stocking filler section of our local garden centre, nestled amongst other little gadgets and gizmos, I found ?The Really Tiny Book Light?. Let me get something straight from the get go ? it wasn?t as if I was searching for something perfect ? I just wanted a serviceable book light to allow me to read at night when my wife preferred to go to sleep. However, my quest for a reliable book light stretches back three Christmases and two birthdays and I have a pile of rejects and failures that would justify a car boot sale table all by themselves. So it was with a mixture of excitement and trepidation that I took this little gadget to the cash desk, hoping it would finally turn out to be ?the...

To hide the night before...
Advantages: gives skin a healthy glow
Disadvantages: none really
...I have a time machine that hides the night before…
Well obviously I haven’t actually built a time machine, or I would be rich beyond my wildest dreams and that certainly hasn’t happened! But Boots have come pretty close to a convincing way of putting time on hold…apparently. I say apparently because I wouldn’t know. Yes, I used the Light diffusing serum, but as I am only in my late teens, it was for a completely different reason. Let me explain…
A couple of years ago I spent ages reading an article about Jennifer Lopez and other stars who use a special product to hide the darkness under their eyes and other blemishes. It was a product by Lancome I think, but basically it worked because it was light-diffusing, so it reflected the light in the dark or blemished areas which gave the impression that...
