...a single open/close button on its face and an LED to indicate when it is running. It connects to the PC via hi-speed USB 2.0 and requires its own power supply. Once connected to the PC and powered up it will be visible on the My Computer screen and assigned its own drive letter. I'll try not to get bogged down with numbers and specifications but to give you some idea of performance it will write to DVD+/-R discs in about six minutes. I don't use dual layer discs personally but LG claim a write time of 21 minutes. While not blisteringly quick compared to other writers these are about the best around for LightScribe devices. As far as compatibility goes the GSA-E60N pretty much has the bases covered. ...gives the impression that a single 2048MB chip would be fitted. The CD / DVD writer is specified as a 'Light scribe' unit in the order. The one supplied did not support this feature. The standard features quotation states that the CD\DVD drives are all of a matched brand. To me this means they are all produced by the same manufacturer. In the PC I have received one drive is made by Sony and the other by Liteon! The standard features quotation states that 'Nero CD/DVD creator' software is supplied with all DVD writers. This was not included with the PC I received. The standard features quotation also states that each PC is fitted with a parallel port as standard. Mine didn't have one of these either. After discovering the above problems I spoke to PC specialist who promised to send me a parallel port card and a replacement DVD drive... Read review

Advantages: Reliable, well built, works easily.

...The LaCie DVD+/-RW Double Layer Drive USB 2.0 is a very reliable and strongly built machine. I've had it for a few months now and it hasnt let me down yet. I use it weekly to back up my photography files onto dvd and various other documents and it does the job perfectly. Ok, its no speed demon, it took a good 1/2 hour to burn footage of my 1 year old nephew through iDVD but it got the job done and as long as you have the time, its no problem at all. A kool feature is that its basically a 4 in 1 drive. It'll read cd's, write cd's, read dvd's and burn dvd's. The cd thing isnt so great now as most computers come with cd readers and writers built in but its handy to have any way. I love the design of this drive. It's not the clunky slab of grey tinny metal I'm used to, but a sleek well desined effort that sits elegantly on your desktop... Read review

The portrayal of the Vatican shows it to be quite a sinister, powerful and influencial organisation, and it is not often portrayed in this light. The acting is excellent, with the wounds suffered being shown in a haunting manor rather than being horrifically brutal. The story is not totally original, but the viewpoint certainly is. This film made me really think about my own faith, and has left a lasting impression on me. A definite must.... Read review

Once up and running you just tick songs in your library to be transferred to your iPod, and away you go. Transfer rate is lighting. About 16 songs take about 1 minute. Once done unplug your iPod from the USB and replace a white cap that is connected to the lanyard. This white cap protects the connector that plugs into your USB. Conveniantly, this connector has scribed either 512mb or 1gb so you know. Plug in the headphones and off you go. The sound quality is amazing, although the headphones kept falling out of my ears when i was running ( no, i have not got funny shaped ears ) so i had to buy a diffrent style. Advantages: Solid economical car with great potential

...a fraction to what Ford will charge. i started simple by changing the airfilter to K&N induction kit, shortly after a straight thru stainless steel exhaust was fitted. Again the parts and choice was amazing. I started to polish the car once or twice daily and after a few weeks it was shining lovely. The little fiesta was becoming quite eye catching. I started to make interior changes - blue interior light, white dial kit, ally gear knob. The original stereo was OK, but i spent about £500 uprating it. Nothin too fancy, CD head unit, uprated fronk speakers and decent subwoofer and amplifier to power it. Again the interior of a MK3 makes it very easy as it is all very univsersal.
