Cant get a sturdier bowling shoe

Advantages: Adjustable slide sole, well made construction.
Disadvantages: None that I can think of.

...I've owned and used these bowling shoes very regularly since I bought them approximately two years ago and they still look as new as they day I bought them. These bowling shoes are so well constructed its untrue. I have owned a pair of Dexter bowling shoes that literally fell to bits within weeks of purchase. These Linds come with an adjustable sliding foot which is either left or right depending on which hand you bowl with. You can change the inserts to allow the bowler to adjust his slide to the approach conditions and to his/her own style. The other foot is non sliding rubber. Available insert disc for the sole are: Buckskin, St. Louis, Fast & St. Ives and for the heal: Rubber, Buckskin & Waffle. Advantages: great musicians, catchy songs to sing a long and party all night long

..."Serenity' is studio album numero 7 for this Boston based old skool Hardcore Band. Although with seven numbers on it and a playlength that doesn't exceed the 20 minutes it's hard to speak of a full length album. Mini CD would be more appropiate in my eyes. Following the highly appreciated 'outlaw anthems' album 'serenity' had some high expectations to forfill. 'Outlaw Anthems' till today is a milestone in hardcore history and as seen before even a great band like Blood For Blood isn't fully capable of improving that classic. The songs on serenity are the most variated melodic songs ever written by Rob Lind and his fellows. The Del Shannon cover was even for a diehard fan surprising. Advantages: A great feminist play written by a man.

Nora and Helmer are a model husband and wife, living in harmony with their three children until Mrs Linde, an old school friend of Nora’s knocks on the door, a widow, in search of a job. Nora manages to get Mrs Linde a job, but unfortunately by doing this pushes Mr Krogstad, an accused forger, out of his job in Helmer’s bank. Mrs Linde and Mr Krogstad unfortunately have a past together so the situation is awkward. Also Mr Krogstad has been lending money to Nora to spend on Helmer’s upkeep as he was an ill man previous to the time of the play. Review of A Doll's House - Henrik Ibsen

Kurt Nilsen's latest album has more of country feel

Advantages: Great new album, with honest, well written lyrics and catchy tunes
Disadvantages: Not as good for those who don't like country music

...others explains why he doesn't push himself to become more famous worldwide, as he doesn't want to lose time with his wife and 3 kids. I am not particularly, but if you are a country fan Kurt's duet with world famous country singer Willie Nelson will be a real treat, including the live bonus track. I also really enjoy the more upbeat 'Mother's Words' and 'Second Chance', which includes a long uptempo instrumental section. Conclusion I love Kurt Nilsen's music and this is another great album from an underrated artist.I would also recommend Kurt's other albums "I", "Push Push" and "A Part of Me", and the live acoustic version of many songs he plays with the "Guitar buddies" Espen Lind, Askil Holm and Alejandro Fuentes....

Boiled sheeps head anyone?

...; Scandinavians never able to get any sleep with that 24 hour daylight. The twist with Jar City, that exploits those enigmatic Icelandic landscapes with great skill, is it tells the story in a non linear way, the start the ending, the middle anything but, although done in away you don't find confusing. The story is a complex one of inherited genetic diseases and grudges but never tries to alienate the viewer. The opinion is better than the play

...The titel only applies because of the plays absolutly abysmal nature. Do not even bother reading this play. It is one of the most boring things I have ever had the misfortune to read. While I will conceed that it is a feminist play and hence the forerunner of womens lib I cannot excuse the utter boredom it induces in the reader. The plot revolves around the fact that Nora, wife of Torvald, has borrowed money without her husbands permission and by forging his signature. The money is borrowed from a man called Krogstad, who loses his job at Torvalds bank and demands that Nora gets him reinstatd or he will tell Torvald. Nora fails to reinstate him and so he writes to Torvald. Mrs Linde a friend of Noras and an old flame of Krogstad tries to help, but ends up thinking that Torvald needs to know, and goes out with Krogstad. Torvald...

Sissel - Norway's best kept secret.

Advantages: Wonderful voice; Some great songs; beautiful lady
Disadvantages: None, if you like the music.

...and indeed, the range of music on the album is quite remarkable. She goes from the gorgeous "Weightless", which is a sort of Enya meets William Orbit number (Ok I'm sorry, but that's the best I can do) through to "Laer meg a kjenne", a Norwegian lullaby. "Sarah's song" is a delightful homage to her infant daughter. The list and variety of styles goes on over twelve excellent tracks (including one reprise). If I have an un-favourite track, I guess it would be "Where the lost ones go" a duet with a chap rejoicing in the name of Espen Lind (...no I haven't either). It borders a little too much on anthemic eurovision for my taste. You instinctively know that you'll get a key change in the last verse long before it gets there - but that's just me being squeamish. Overall it's a brilliant album which I would heartily recommend. If you want to hear...

Elvis standing as a colossus

Advantages: Another towering Elvis performance
Disadvantages: None whatsoever

...rendering to this famous song over a simple piano and vocal accompaniment from his backing singers. That old crusty Roger Whittaker had a hit in the UK in 1975 with "The Last Farewell", and Elvis brilliantly does his thing to this here. He goes way down low on the bit "and should I return safe home again, to England", very poignant considering he never got to come here, apart from a few minutes on that military plane of course. A simple, gorgeous and heartfelt tune. The band get funky with the great "For The Heart", a song written by Dennis Linde. A nice bouncy feel-good number it is too. "Had a dream, about you baby, had a dream about me and you", goes the lyric, and you just know what The King has on his mind, and he's gonna get it too! Things take a reverse turn with the sad "Bitter They Are, Harder They Fall...
