#250? - Overrated!

Advantages: Acknowledge I've overrated, at ease, I use a strong range of scores
Disadvantages: GameFAQS top ten list quality filler - I'm only really doing this for 30CP

...I'm not a fan of top whatever lists, and I loathe the term "overrated" as I find it to be overused (although it springs to mind when I am on sites like this). For my 250th review (or not-really-a-review) however, I decided to compile a top ten list of products that I've reviewed which I felt I have overrated, and contemplated taking a star off the rating. There have been reviews that I've gone back to and changed the rating - these would be next in line, though my laziness means I might never get round to these. 10. Metallica - Ride The Lightning. ...The Samsung E250 is a bit of a let down to my other phone which broke and I have had a lot of phones but the reasons why it is a good phone are shown below along with a few bad points but every phone has bad points this one has an advantage to other phones. The fact that it is a slide phone mean that it is helpful for calls all you have to do is just have slide it up and the call is answered. RS250 - Best Avoided

Advantages: Good looks, 2 stroke smells
Disadvantages: unreliable, expensive parts - Italian

...of power (it is only 250cc after all) means that if you go in to a corner in the wrong gear, or go in too hot and lose the speed (and the revs) then you'll have to cog it down to second and wring it's neck through the gearbox once more. This is part of the RS's charm. The RS is a total wheely machine - even if you don't want to. Red lining it in first and second wii get the front wheel in the air, especially if you lean back - even a little. In fact, to keep it down you have to ensure that you keep your weight over the front in the first two gears. Although wheelies are cool and a crowd pleaser the coppers don't like them (as I found out!) Ever since my days on an AR50 I have loved the smell of two stroke oil, especially with a little Castrol R put in for good measure. Riding an RS you will smell 2 stroke ALL the time, believe me. Behind Enemy Lines

Advantages: Entertaining the whole way through
Disadvantages: Slightly on the budget side

...Last night Behind enemy lines was on Film Four and I thought I?d give it ago, I had never heard of the film before and so did not know what to expect, I always give the info on the TV a read before getting into a new film as unfortunately I am one of the Biased people of the world who find a film more worth trying if it has good actors and a good synopsis. ...The samsung E250 is a good phone The price has fallen when i bought it it was £55 and now it is 39.99 which annoys me quite a lot the features are good it contains a vga camera , bluethooth , video camera, mp3,micro sd slot and a bright coloured screen in its price range under £50 it is the best phone out there it has stylish looks and is very slim . The memory is quite limited so if you listen t music i recommend you get a 1 gb memory card which is about £15 the softwareis not included in the box so yiu might have to buy it i recomend downloading it from the internet Positives it is easy to use has loads of features . negatives not the best camera but still useable and you cant really get better for its price . It is a good phone and i recommend you buy it...

Decent Samsung E250

Advantages: Bluetooth, Practical, External memory, MP3 capable, Excellent multimedia services.
Disadvantages: Fragile, Shortlife battery, Not 3G capable, complicated menu.

...The Samsung E250 is a great cell phone despite its mentionable flaws and critical points with an overall rating that will suit the need of the mass community and will reach your expectations. First of all, SME250 is based GSM 900 / 1800 / 1900 terminal, a 2G (EDGE, so it's a 2.75G ) unfortunately not a 3G, so you can't make video conference phone call. But, that's a not big loss comparing the big range of features. The clamshell (comes in different colors, black, silver, pink) design is very slick and lovable. A dimension of 99.5 x 49.5 x 14.1 mm, weighing 80g makes the phone very light (you won't feel in your pocket or purse (for the ladies ;)) and very fragile piece of equipment as well. I've heard several complaints about the design regarding the keypad and the screen display, possibility getting damage in short term of usage...

...Edit: My review here is based on the Nuvi-250 (non-widescreen version). I bought one of these recently as my old ipaq-based TomTom is getting more outdated each day and there doesn't seem to be a reasonably-priced way to update it. I have to say I was expecting better. The manual is small because there aren't as many features as you get with TomTom. For example TomTom allows you to set the distance between your POI and it's alert sounding. This Garmin seems to sound the alert at it's own preset distance warning which you can't change from the menu system. It also seems to take a while to find the satellites. We went to our local park on saturday which is about a mile from home and we were practically on the car-park before it locked on. The worst part though was how innacurate the maps seem to be.
