I have recently started to really enjoy war films and most action films, so I was also looking forward to seeing what the director could pull out of the bag with Behind Enemy Lines, therefore the film was given my full attention the full way through. Plot The story is about a Navy ship which is stationed near Bosnia with Gene Hackman as the admiral and Owen Wilson plays an uncomfortable Navy Lieutenant plane navigator who is looking to leave the force for good in a fortnight because the Navy offers him no excitement. He is paired with his partner ?Stackhouse? who is his close friend and pilot. Owens? character, Burnett, goes on a Christmas Day flight and ends up with his plane being brought down by an unidentified group of terrorists, later to be found as Serbs who have spotted him...

Review of Behind Enemy Lines (DVD)

Line 6 Spider III 210, one of the greatest metal amps out there.

Advantages: Brilliant Features and Sound Quality, well worth the money.
Disadvantages: Handle and knobs not very versatile.

...The Line 6 Spider III 210 is a 120 watt solid state amp with two 10" speakers, that comes complete with 12 different amp models, reverb, and 6 built in effects. Becoming available for purchase in 2006, I bought this amp for £210 from www.guitarampkeyboard.com in 2007 and haven't looked back since. It has over 350 pre set sounds (most of which are artist designed) you will find little need to altering the knobs. I play a Jackson DK2L through this amp and the sound is unbeatable in any other amp, of course this is more a metal amp than anything however you can get some really nice blues and clean sounds out of it. As for the transportability side, I was taking it to a gig and the strap broke meaning i had to carry the amp from the bottom the rest of the way. Defining The Great Line

Advantages: Strong drum work throughout, impressive vocal styling.
Disadvantages: You may wear the album out from playing it so often.

...In 2004 the band rose to fame with their 'They're Only Chasing Safety' album which sold more than 350 000 copies. Underoath came back after a 2 year wait with this album 'Define The Great Line' with which the band have a great stab at success in the metalcore genre, a genre they started off in with their first two albums 'Act of Depression' and 'Cries of the Past' before moving onto the melody, scream, repeat formula of the 'They're Only Chasing Safety' release. I feel that this was a wise move for the band as I feel that this is a genre that they do a lot more successfully, and so in returning to their roots as such the band are definitely onto a winner. No Line On The Horizon

.... The fast paced verses and the grungy chorus makes it a great addition to the bands sound. The lyrics are entirely catchy so you'll sing along after a few listens. The Edge is just a genius on this one. Stand Up Comedy This is the weirdest song of the album. It doesn't really reminds me of anything from their catalog. But that's a great thing. The poppy element is still there but the electrical guitar has a more important role. The chorus is very melodic and the lyrics make the song an anthem. FEZ-Being Born The experimental intro is just beautiful in this song. After that a sweet electronic ballad surfaces out of nowhere. One of the slow songs of the album.   Drive Within The Parallel Lines.

Advantages: Much better than the last driver game. Modable cars.
Disadvantages: Quite a short game, hard to drive as the roads are packed with traffic.

Walk the Line said the Man in Black

Advantages: An engaging, touching story and exceptional performances
Disadvantages: Very little

...with each other. Whilst Phoenix and Witherspoon quite rightly are the centre of attention, the film is made all the better for having a very good supporting cast. For me there are numerous performances which are spot on from, Waylon Payne as Jerry Lee Lewis and Ginnifer Goodwin as Vivian Cash, but the one which stands out the most is that of Robert Patrick as Johnny's father Ray. Robert Patrick is a man I always associate with "Terminator 2" and to some extent "X Files" so to see him in a role like this was something new for me. His characterisation of Ray is brilliant as you get a real sense that he is a working man who detests his own son for reasons which are explained in the film. Finally I have to mention the direction of James Mangold who I feel was unlucky not to even get an Oscar nomination let alone win one for "Walk the Line". He...

...Ah, Steven Seagal: The now fat, past his prime Aikido expert/invincible movie star, who critics loved to endlessly pick gripe with and fans at the very most could just about tolerate. Seagal never actually looked anything like the trend of the typical '80s/'90s action star, which was set by the Schwarzeneggers and Stallones of the generation -- what, with his greasy pony tail, bloated figure and extravagant dress sense. Out For Justice, however, was a by-the-numbers action flick, with Seagal playing Gino Felino, a tough, incorruptible Brooklyn cop, who was out to avenge the death of his partner Bobby Lupo. ...to be amongst the greatest and most influential of all Albums ever released. It is up there with the likes of the Beatles, Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band and Pink Floyd's, Dark Side of the Moon. As of November 2006 it had amassed 1,695,000 over the counter sales and was the 98th biggest selling Album of all time in the UK. For me, Parallel Lines is still a classic Album but I am also proud to say that it was also the very first Album that I ever bought. Although this purchase was in around 1980 (when I was about 10 years old) and not when the Album was first released. I have since updated my rather worn out vinyl copy with a CD version.
