The high speed wireless solution shall dawn upon my home and I will become... free!" It was easy to setup, just take it out of the box, out of it's protective cover, plug it into the mains with network cable connecting the broadband modem to it... and presto! Advantages: Small, portable, easy-to-use, easy-to-setup and adaptable.

...not want to turn this review into a Hi-Fi manual! The network name can be hidden and you can restrict router access to computers listed in the wireless client list. The ability to specify either an open system or shared key for authentication. These are the options I have tweaked and I believe this should prevent basic hacking of my wireless broadband router. The initial setup was easy once the brain was engaged. Do not do anything other than insert the CD, all the setting up is covered from connecting the power to the ethernet cables. One tip though is to go online via your broadband modem prior to starting the setup. This will ensure that any snags that may arise are due to the subsequent installation. ...When it came to installing a router I didn't have a clue what I was doing! It was a pure impulse purchase, and I was worried when I got home that I might have trouble setting it up. The cd that came with the router made it extremely easy to figure out, though it would have been nice to have a small manual too (these can be downloaded from Linksys site). When I bought my WRT54GS router for £49.99, I was fortunate to get a free Linksys usb network adapter (worth £39.99). My pc came with a network card and aerial already installed, so I was intending to save the usb adapter for my old pc and have that wireless too.
