Advantages: Its free and quite user friendly

I installed a version of Red hat a few years ago and found it was quite easy to get to grips with if a little limiting in hardware compatibility as it refused to recognise my printer, camera , phone or scanner and was the reason I returned to windows. I felt a little monopolised by microsoft , whenever another security feature is added to another version of windows I have felt obliged to go along with it , I felt my hands were tied and so I wanted to give Linux a try to satisfy myself that Microsoft was not the only useful Operating System. Well yes there are, the main competitor is Linux. However, if you are relative novice, then this isn't for you. The windows interface is so much easier and is (dare I say it) a standard. ...Bose SoundDock Digital Music System I happened to get this as a gift and it turned out to be quiet interesting Summary: This dock is used mainly for ipod and allows you to connet mp3 players to it and listen to high quality music via speakers. It is idle for homes and small gatherings, although I would not run a party off these. Pros: This system has terrific sound and can go very load despite its relative small size. As with almost all Bose speakers the quality is amazing, so long as the source you are playing it from is high quality it will allow the speakers to each its potential. I have a surround sound Bose set up in one of my rooms but now prefer to use this product as it is very simple to operate. Just plug the mp3 player in and press play and your set. Operation Boring

Advantages: Some slight humour
Disadvantages: Characters and Plot is unrealistic and there isnt too much depth to it

...I had never read any of Jenny Colgan?s books before, so I didn?t quite know what to expect when I read Operation Sunshine as I couldn?t compare it to any of her other books. Jenny Colgan has written quite a few books and from what I gather mostly all of her books are Chic Lit. Even although i had never read any of her books before I had heard of a few of her more popular ones such as Amanda?s Wedding, West End Girl?s and the most recent Diamond?s are a Girl?s best friend. Operation Sunshine was released in June 2008 prior to Diamond?s are a Girl?s Best Friend in May 2009. Operation Sunshine is a book about 20 something Evie, who is a pretty average girl from the way she is described in the book. She works as a receptionist for 2 plastic surgeons in a Harley Street Clinic, where there are lots of people of all ages coming and going...

Review of Operation Sunshine - Jenny Colgan

Windows 7 - a great operating system.

Advantages: looks great, easy to use, nice new taskbar, high compatibility
Disadvantages: cost is still high

...larger icons in squares. Instead of quick launch you have to "pin" items to the taskbar, which basically means they're always there, even when they are closed. When a program is open the square around it gets emphasized. There is a new feature called aero peek which is a little square in the bottom left which when you hover over it fades all of your open windows away and shows your desktop. When you click it then all of your windowd minimize and it takes you to your desktop. Another new feature is "aero snap" which is where you click and drag a window to either side of the screen to make it take up that half of the screen, or drag it to the top to make it maximise. Overall Windows 7 is a very good improvement over Vista, which in my opinion was still a good operating system, but Windows 7 is definitely better....

Very similar to windows in the way it gives you a graphical frontend to the computer. The other 1% (geeks) use linux.
