...Tesco Washing Up Liquid This is Tesco supermarkets own brand of dish washing liquid. It comes in a 375 ml plastic see through bottle with a red plastic flip cap. The bottle costs 68p and is available in a variety of different flavours including Lemon and Spring Apple. This is not to be confused with the cheaper Value Brand Liquid that costs around 15p per bottle and is substancially lower in quality. I use this product reqularly. The liquid is thick yet pours easily from the bottle without clogging the cap. The different varieties smell great and really really fresh. I find the liquid to be very effective in washing dishes, pots and pans etc. I would go as far to say that I find it as useful and effective as the leading brand of liquid. ...I recently bought the new Fairy Extra Hygiene Liquid as it was on special offer, being new and all that. I am very impressed with it , you don't need much liquid with the water as it does get very very soapy and the dishes got very slippy (hence breaking a glass with a slippy plate). It advertises itself as an antibacterial liquid and I can well believe it. Its smell is pleasant and the orange colour to me is a lot better that the normal green fairy liquid. I would recommend that you try this new product as it has excellent value for money and lasts for a very long time.... Read review

...I had this bought for me by my wife for personal use at work. the reason being that the liquid soap provided left my hands feeling dry and a not too pleasant smell on my hands when eating my food, usually sandwiches. I found that using the Dove liquid soap left my hands feeling clean, moisturised and also has a pleasant smell which made eating my sandwiches much more pleasant. Needless to say I have to keep it locked away at work to prevent my colleagues from using it, although on or two other work colleagues are now bringing their own liquid soap. An excellent product with beneficial effects and reasonably priced which makes it excellent value for money. Would highly recommend this product as an alternative to standard washroom liquid soap used by most companies and supplied in bulk.... Read review

...Being the one who is alway landed with the washing up I tend to buy anything I can get my hands on. If the washing liquid runs out before the main shopping day I will go over the local shop and buy one. Shamelessly I am not loyal to any brand. Or should I say I wasnt. The other week my washing up liquid ran out on the right day for the weekly shopping in Tescos so I bought their own. It is good. I has changed the shape of its bottle lately. Now this is odd because the previous bottle was the same as fairy liquid bottle and low and behold the new one is now the same as the new fairy liquid which gives the idea that it must be the same liquid in each. We all remember the adverts ‘ hands that do dishes can feels as soft as your face, mild green fairy liquid.’ We now own a dishwasher, so we do not have to use washing up liquid very often, but we always keep a bottle in the cupboard for an emergency. My dad also likes to use it when he has been fixing his car because he says it gets the oil of his hands easily. Fairy washing up liquid can be brought from all supermarkets and general stores. ...I first encountered anbesol liquid after trying various other teething remedies, gels, frozen teething rings etc. without much success, until my pharmacist recommended anbesol liquid. It comes in a small glass bottle, and is a straw coloured liquid and not too unpleasant tasting, I myself have used it on occasion when having had toothache. The liquid can be applied with a small piece of cotton like the corner of a hanky, or even better a clean finger or cotton bud. The liquid really does numb the gums, and for a good length of time too, a minimum of 30 minutes in my case. My son has used it all through teething and has had relatively few bad days or nights. ...Ecover washing liquid is great for hand or machine* washing delicates and woolies. It has a lovely natural smell with no harsh chemicals and is completely biodegradable. Most councils also recycle this sort of plastic container - but better still look for health food shops that refill bottles, our local one does. *With reference to an earlier reviewer who said it gunged up the washing machine, a repair man I had long ago said don't use washing liquids as this is a problem. Go for Ecover powder instead. Ecover washing liquid is really nice to use, kind to you hands, to the rivers, the fishes, the environment, and not too bag for your purse. I find the price compares well will other specialist liquids for delicates. It doesn't foam too much so is easy to rinse out afterwards. Finish off with Ecover fabric conditioner to feel really... ...I bought this because I thought that it was priced cheaply - I also thought that washing up liquid is washing up liquid, whichever brand it is. First off, it doesn't matter how cheap it is, if you have to buy lots more of this than your normal brand, my usual brand being fairy liquid, then it isn't very good value. You have to use loads of it, to get any grease cutting power at all, and the grease cutting power doesn't last for more than a few dishes, which makes this a big no-no to anybody with a family to feed. It didn't smell too bad for washing up liquid (and incidentally, it makes great kids bubbles), but these are the only points that I found worthwhile. ...Liquid Skin is the latest album by this UK rhythm and blues band, and is a superb follow up to the award winning Bring it On. There is a track on Liquid Skin called Bring it On, which I gues marks the transition in styles between the 2 albums. If you liked the last one, you'll love this - its less raw perhaps, and whereas Bring it On was self-produced, much more professionalism has clearly gone into the studio work to bring us Liquid Skin - however, it still retains that Gomez magic, ingenuitiy and originality. This truly is a great album. My favourite tracks are Revolutionary Kind, We Haven't Turned Around and the blistering Rythm and Blues Alibi. Brilliant!!!... Read review

...Dove Cream Wash Liquid Soap is a unique way of washing without the harsh irritant chemicals used in so many other soaps. Also, as it is convenient to use as it comes in liquid form so consequently there is little waste as you often get with standard soap bars. Those who have sensitive skin can use this, as well as babies, young children and the elderly. It has a clean, pleasant and fresh smelling fragrance and once you have used it for the first time you will find you will use it again and again. Also, ladies will appreciate the fact that it does not dehydrate the skin and will actually act as a moisturiser.
