...I have only recently discovered Liquid Capsules as an alternative to Washing Powders and Washing Liquids. Having originally tried (and been rather impressed with) the Ariel Liquid Capsules I decided to try and save a few pennies and purchases Tesco's own brand on my next shopping trip. I paid £1.98 for ten Capsules compared with £2.62 for the same quantity of Ariel, and £2.79 for Persil. WHAT ARE LIQUID CAPSULES? Each Capsule consists of a plastic Pouch containing 50ml of Washing Liquid. They are incredibly easy to use as you simply place the one of the Capsules inside the drum of your washing machine on top of your dirty Clothes, turn on your desired Washing Programme and let your Washing Machine do the rest. ...When I moved into my ground floor flat I noticed straight away there was a problem with ants, the patio was crawling with them and it was obvious there was a nest of them out there somewhere. I had never really come across this problem before as this was the first ground floor property I've lived in, neeless to say I was panicking as some of them had got indoors and I could'nt get a proper nights sleep until they were gone! Advantages: Makes clothes feel lovely

...Getting to the end of my first bottle of fairy non-bio. Fairy non-bio is a liquid clothes detergent, turquoise in colour and smells really nice. Since I have started using it I have really noticed the difference. My clothes feel lovely! They feel nice when they come out of the wash and great once they have dried. I line dry (or clothes horse dry) my clothes and one thing I have noticed is that you do not get that stiff powdery feeling on the clothes once they have been on the line for the day. They actually feel like they have been tumble dried with bounce (even though they haven't). The clothes smell fantastic and it is quite pleasant when you are drying them indoors as the aroma seems to be carried around the house, very fresh! ...My Mother-In-Law swears by Daz, but she has always used the powder format - and in recent years has always gone on about how many purposes it was useful for - not just the washing! How did I come to buy Daz Washing Liquid in the first place, well, it all started one Sunday lunchtime way back in November. ...I first bought Morning Fresh when it was on a promotion in which I got 750ml for the price of 500ml, and since then it has been my preferred brand of washing-up liquid. It is a brand from Cussons, who are a well-known household name, and mainly focus on personal care, their most famous brands being Imperial Leather and Carex. Coming from such a popular brand, you might expect it to be among the most expensive on the shelves, but it is significantly cheaper than what one would regard as the 'top' brands. ...Tesco Washing Up Liquid This is Tesco supermarkets own brand of dish washing liquid. It comes in a 375 ml plastic see through bottle with a red plastic flip cap. The bottle costs 68p and is available in a variety of different flavours including Lemon and Spring Apple. This is not to be confused with the cheaper Value Brand Liquid that costs around 15p per bottle and is substancially lower in quality. I use this product reqularly. The liquid is thick yet pours easily from the bottle without clogging the cap. The different varieties smell great and really really fresh. I find the liquid to be very effective in washing dishes, pots and pans etc. I would go as far to say that I find it as useful and effective as the leading brand of liquid. I have never had a dirty pot etc. that I have been unable to cean with this product... Read review

...My mother in-law is always on the look out for offers whenever she shops and stock up on things that don't have expiry dates such as toilet rolls and washing up liquid. I personally use the Tesco's own brand because it's cheap and cleans just as well but my mother in-law recently found an offer on this washing up liquid and gave me a couple of bottles so here I am to give you my review. The bottle is unlike most washing up liquids as it is not clear but a vibrant yellow with a green flip top lid. It dents in slightly near the top on both sides, I'm assuming this is for an easy grip as it doesn't curve in the middle like others. The label states clearly that it is a concentrated washing up liquid by Persil and this one is particular is the Lemon Zing flavour. ...Being the one who is alway landed with the washing up I tend to buy anything I can get my hands on. If the washing liquid runs out before the main shopping day I will go over the local shop and buy one. Shamelessly I am not loyal to any brand. Or should I say I wasnt. The other week my washing up liquid ran out on the right day for the weekly shopping in Tescos so I bought their own. It is good. I has changed the shape of its bottle lately. Now this is odd because the previous bottle was the same as fairy liquid bottle and low and behold the new one is now the same as the new fairy liquid which gives the idea that it must be the same liquid in each. ...Well I lied I didnt actually make it but I wear it!! As you may have noticed if you have read some of my other ops I am a big fan of Avon. Not only for make-up but my mum also likes the jewellery and gifts! That’s why when I found Avon’s Liquid Eye Liner Pen I was really pleased, as it seemed to me that it would be easier to apply. I have tried eyeliner pencils but I don’t like to use them to do a line at the top of the eyelid just above the eyelashes. I have also tried other liquid eyeliners, but find these very difficult to apply as my hand wobbles and I end up looking rather strange! As the Avon eyeliner was a pen, I thought it would be easier to apply as you can choose how thick you apply it! I am at the moment on my second tube.
