Advantages: Fun, easy to use, great features, great games!
Disadvantages: Once you pick it up its hard to put down

...I own 2 DS Lites, my son has one and my partner does, they come in a great range of colours Black,White,Pink and the newer Blue. The touch screen on them is great, it makes the games so much more fun and with games like super mario you get mini games that all use the touch screen and they are great fun. As for the size of it well i carnt complain its small quite slim and light! hence the name. As for the age recomended on these my son has had one since last christmas and at the time he was 3! and after about a day learnt how to use it better than me lol. some games can be akward for smaller children but the likes of super mario, mario kart, shrek,cars ect are great for them. Its also very durable my son has dropped his on tiled floor, sat on it and god knows what else and its fine, its also very easy to keep clean. From...

...My husband and I have had our DS Lites for well over a year now and we still really enjoy them. I like the black model, as i think it looks most stylish and grown-up! But if i was kid, I would adore a pink one!! The graphics can be extremely high standard. You can get various games for the DS lite, many of which are absolutely top of the range in terms of graphics, while others are more old school like Tetris. The double screen means that with certain games characters can move between the two. Other games use only one screen as the main gaming screen and has useful information on the other. The lower screen is a touch-pad and the DS Lite comes with a stylus pen so that you can write on it. ...I had one of these for about a year until I sold it off for an Xbox 360 (good decision). I found the DS Lite has very good wireless play for friends in the area with one of them. The chat rooms are also quite useful if you are on a trip with several friends. As I found out, on a ski trip, I spent about 3 hours on the DS racing about 10 other people in Mario Kart; its a brilliant way to pass a journey. However, equally, it is also fun offline. Although the games don't have as good graphics as the likes of the Xbox 360 or PS3. They are still not bad and they do have the one of a kind revolutionary stlylus-touch screen system. ...The Nintendo DS lite is the most recent version of its kind and has been out for good while now. The older version was fatter an heavier, also the screen was not as clear and bright as this one. The reason I live this small design is because it's so accessible. Carrying it around is so easy and isn't a problem at all. There are a few colors to choose from, there are white, black, pink and blue, im not sure what others they have. They all have the same functions if you are wondering. Id personally go for the black one as I find it a bit more evil looking which to me just looks cool! I'd say the sound on this is a lot clearer and louder also which is a good improvement. if you like your little mini games then this is very good for that very thing as there are so many different games out now which are like mind games, puzzles...

...My daughter bought one of these when they first came out in ASDA for £100.00. That was on it's own with no games or accessories, but they were new then so that wasn't too bad. You can now get bundles on amazon and ebay with various accessories and games for less than £99.00. When you buy a nintendo DS lite on their own, compared to the old DS, you can clearly see that it is lighter in weight and had a much more sleek and shiny design. It is very modern looking and is a good small size so you can put it in a glove box in the car, in your pocket or in a handbag with ease so it's easy to carry around with you. When my daughter bought hers, all she got was the DS, two of the stylus's and an instructions manual that told you how to turn the console on and off etc. The DS's do have a chat room on them, but my daughter hasn't ever been able...

Advantages: The Nintendo DS Lite has a bright screen

...In my opinion i thought this product was very enjoyable. Unlike the original Nintendo DS, the screen is brighter, hense the name. This enables you to play it just about anywhere, not caring about the suns light reflecting of the screen. It is also very atrractive as it comes in a range of colours such as Lime Green, Pink, Red, Baby blue etc. It is of very good quality and of the highest possible standard. I often find myself induldging in the wide variety of games it has to offer, a few of my personal favourites being Cooking Mama, Super Mario Bros. and The Sims 2 Pets. My kids love their Nintendo DS Lites, and i would rate this product an 8/10. I would recommend it to people of all ages, as the wide variety of games gives choices for everyone and both genders....
