...Today I got my first order for these magnificent and trendy 52 speed cd-rom drives. I couldn?t wait to receive this as it was my first hardware delivery of the week, apart from my new floppy disks. I ordered about 150 of these drive and what can I say they are much better than any other brand I have tried. Lite-On are a new group to me but they offer really good hardware for really cheap and not so nasty prices. The Cd-Rom drives that I ordered were normal 52x Cd-Rom drives with a new technology called Pure-Cav, I don?t know what this is but I guess that it is a new type of hardware added to the Cd-Rom drives. It has an IDE interface; this is used to connect the Cd-Rom drive to the motherboard. It has a power saving function. It supports PLUG AND PLAY, and also has an emergency Eject Button on it. Liteon LVW-5002 DVD Player

I have been disappointed with this player since day one and I wish I had returned it as soon as I realised how rubbish it truly was. I bought it from Curry's as I say a few years ago when the recordable DVD player first came out. I paid £180 for the machine with remote control and this price was pretty much the cheapest I could find for a recordable DVD player at that time. I think you can pick them up for probably about half the price now. The DVD player really looks the part and is a lovely silver and mirror design. More Lights Off Than LiteOn

This was an NEC model 1300a and was one of the first to handle both DVD-R and DVD+R formats, without paying the somewhat inflated prices being bandied around by Sony at the time. Uno 52 - Combining poker and uno on the Nintendo DS!

...Uno 52 is a card game for the Nintendo DS based on the well known card game Uno and a version of poker. Uno is a popular family card game using special cards where you have to match cards by either number or colour. The game is based on a similar concept to this, but has some slight changes in how the discarded cards are dealt with and treats this as a form of poker. The big problem I have with this game is the lack of different game play options or variations. It's a game that could be played in different ways to suit different players and playing methods, but the game doesn't reflect these options. Cosmic Thing-The B52s (nothing cosmic about this album at all)

Advantages: Better than Bouncing Off Satellites. Boppy and updeat.
Disadvantages: Nothing new in this album, same silly lyrics and plastic sounding tracks. Irritating at best.

...Fans of The B-52s will probably really like this album, much better than Bouncing Off the Satellites. Although I still really like this band. This album is a return their earlier style (before Ricky Wilson died). I will admit that their sound is a tiny bit more updated in this album but it still isnt really anything special in my opinion. I will say that it is very up-beat and boppy (which is something fans probably really like about this band). But I have to say that I found the electric synthesizer 'twangy' sound really annoying and a constant back ground reiteration of the lyrics is also really irritating. Although I think that Cindy Wilson's vocals can be really lovely at times, in some of the songs they are a bit whiny and aggravating. Advantages: Smooth, shiny and sexy

On reflection I probably should have invested a little more time in my choice as I am likely to end up keeping this phone for at least a couple of years but there you go! So MY C5-2 is a described as a ?clam shell? phone, i.e. flip top, it?s shiny blue with a silver stripe through the middle that you can see in the picture on the product page. The front display shows the battery status, the time, date, signal and indicates whether it?s on silent, if the alarm is set etc. Pretty standard really. One annoying feature in this respect is that when you charge the phone, the stripe bit that I have described flashes. Huge green lighthouse flashes. Which, if you charge your phone on the bedside table at night, like I do, is annoying...
