Disadvantages: quite pricey but it is snap on after all

...I had always wanted a cordless screwdriver and I recently treated myself to one. I am an enthusiastic though not particularly good do-it-yourselfer and whilst putting a screw in is not the most tiring thing to do all these things add up and anything which can ease the burden is welcome. The Black and Decker cost £34.49 from Argos (Catalogue number 710/8857) which puts it at the top of the price range for such screwdrivers. It comes with a wall mounted charger unit and putting this on the wall was the first job I did with the screwdriver. It also has a neat carry and storage case. There are enough bits included with the screwdriver to do any job you are likely to do. Cordless Straighteners....WOW

Advantages: no cable to wrap around yourself whilst you straighten you hair

I stumbled across the Morphy and Richards cordless hair straigheners whilst browsing through my Argos catologue. As soon as I saw them, I wanted them, they were the first type of cordless straigheners I had seen and the thought of not having to worry about a cable really appealed to me. The reason why they appealed to me is because there is no plug socket near my rather tiny mirror in the bedroom, having cordless straigheners means that I can style my hair in the bathroom, in front of my rather large mirror. ...I must have I love work tattooed on my forehead, my Father in law bought me a Black & Decker work mate as a wedding gift and ever since I seem to get some kind of tool as a present. All very useful and all put to work I may add, anyway one of the latest additions to my toys is the Black & Decker 9019K cordless screwdriver. The days of strained wrists and blisters in the palm of my hand are things of the past, as far as putting up shelves etc. is concerned. Ratchets, yankees, philips and pozidriv (yes there is no e on the end) are all names of the past, now all I need is my cordless screwdriver, a few bits and Bobs your uncle, job done in half the time and no sweat. Finish the job and put the driver back in its charging cradle and then it’s ready for another days work when I want it. This is an excellent bit of kit...
