A Battery Life Less Ordinary

...The big problem with the battery of a PSP is that unlike the main competition (GBA, NDS) which have great battery life, the PSP does not; in fact you'll get barely more than 2 hours out of it. With this in mind I was quite intrigued by the powermaster battery that offers considerably more charge for your pound. Plus's often come with minus's and the first minus is the size of this battery; in short it's a damn size bigger than the one that comes as standard. So much bigger its sticks out considerably more too. This forms part of issue number two, it's now more awkward to hold. Once you got used to the size of the standard battery having this big monster sticking out the back comes as quite a shock. Shocks go hand in hand with annoyance, the battery pack now feels loose so loose that you often actually pull the battery off by accident...

Sony Camcorder Battery

...I bought this camera from marks and spencers for £279.99. This camera is great due to all the features that it has. It has a great 12x optical zoom, which even at 9x or 10x zoom, the pictures look quite clear and well taken photos. It has a good image stabilisation feature which allows you to take photos even if the object of person is moving very fast. Its battery life is quite good compared to most ordinary cameras which allows you to take 250 photos on average. It is a 10.1 megapixel camera which has a very high number of pixels for each picture, and I can say this is definitely so when I upload my pictures onto my laptop as the pictures are VERY clear and they still look good when zoomed in by half the size of the picture....

...Well what can I say about this battery really except that it is an extremely useful piece of kit for a camera; my old camera (a DSC 600) ran on the old style AA batteries and was continually running out after an afternoons not very intensive shooting, even when I bought AA rechargeables it did not improve much and cost me quiet a bit; my new camera however (that I was forced to buy after someone knocking into me sending my camera skimming across concrete on it's lens!) came with this battery which is a huge improvement; chances are if your buying this you're going to need a charger and these are really easy to use with a simple light that goes off when charging is complete; this battery is extremely long lasting with on average 380 shots for every charge which is outstanding! however of course with the advantages of a specialised pack...

...This battery uses Li-ion technology which has been a great relief to me as I am the world's least disciplined battery charger, slapping batteries into chargers at any old state of charge. You can imagine that back in the days of NiCads and their dreaded memory effect, my batteries soon became useless. These are much more user-friendly. I would say that a spare battery like this is absolutely essential. On my Coolpix 4500 you get very little warning of imminent battery failure, it just tells you it's run out and shuts down. These only seem to take about 3-4 hours to charge and they're quite small. A nice feature of this battery is that Nikon provide a small snap-on plastic terminal cover so there's no risk of the spare shorting and discharging in your bag or pocket.
