Bad Company - Good company!

Advantages: fun good humoured game
Disadvantages: very basic plot.

...Bad Company is refreshing in many ways, one great advantage is that it doesn't try and take itself too seriously. It seems that those who have made it have done their very best to concentrate on fun. Gameplay: The controls are much like any other first person shooter, they are simple and easy to get used to. It is fast paced and flows nicely. Even if you find yourself riddled with bullets you simply respawn seconds later a little way from the action. Occasionaly this can be a little annoying traipsing to battle if you are spawned a little too far away. The other downside is you respawn with what ever ammo you had when you died, which if it is very low, leads to a lot more death. At £1.50 per 200 page monthly issue, it’s quite a bit less than my usual reads, and since I hadn’t looked at a copy since I was in our 6th form common room, I thought I’d give it a go. Two's COMPANY, adverts are a crowd!

...I?ve read this magazine before, but I can?t really remember whether I was that impressed or not? The only reason that I actually have a copy of Julys edition of Company in my grubby little hands is because of the free book that came with it (Venus Envy by Louise Bagshawe) and the fact that it was a total impulse buy. I was actually only interested in buying the Daily Mail but finished up coming out of WHSmith with not only the paper but Company, The Net, Hello, Web User, 6 First Class Stamps and a Shaggy CD (see op for reasons why!!) And so, here I sit, yet another glorious sunny day (2nd one this year, boy are we spoilt or what??) just having finished reading this magazine. I?m bored!! I?ve done the sleep thing?..I?m not in a very Charlotte Bingham book kinda place, and I just haven?t got the strength or energy to go indoors...
