Big Fun with Little People!!

Advantages: great range, reasonably priced
Disadvantages: so much choice you want them all!!!

...I decided to review the Fisher Price Little People range as one rather than all the individual items. You may have seen the review for the Lights and Sound Garage, which is part of this range. I actually bought my son a few of the Fisher Price range for Christmas and am pleased I did. The range includes Gararge, Farm, House, Zoo and Safari and Construction Site. They are available from all the major toy shops such as ToyrUs but Woolworths seem to the be the biggest stockists, that I have seen in the North Yorkshire area. The actual products that I have purchased are the Lights and Sound Garage and Farmyard. We also have the Construction Site add on set, rather than the full playset. learning little people

...I bought some little people toys for my daughter at xmas as my sister had bought for her daughter a few years back and i remember it kept her one amused so i thought this would be good for my daughter being almost 2 this was perfect for her. I bought her the zoo and the train set. The zoo is grea twith the animals and the noises they make she thought this was fun putting the animals in their places and hearing a noise when she did this you get the seal,lion,bird,elephant, monkey,polar bear,camel and the zoo keeper and car. When neach of these animals are placed in the zoo they make a noise which is rewarding and learning for you child to match the animal with noise. With the monkey you hit a lever and this makes the monkey jump to get to his bananas this makes a noise when you do this she loves this and forever does it...

...Little People is a new updated range of plastic toys for children aimed at children from 1 to 5 years old. There is a large range of toys that intermingle. Toys, which we currently have in our household, include Noah's Ark, the fairground range and the Garage. All get played with everyday, which is some mean feat when my son, aged 23 months has so many different toys to play with. Little people have big Fun on the farm

Advantages: lots of things to do, really educational and fun
Disadvantages: makes noises and needs batteries

...The world of little people by fisher price has so many options to choose from or indeed to collect over time. I chose to buy the ?world of little people? farm, as my little girl loves animals and from an early age was obsessed with trying to mimic their noises. With the help of this toy, she now recognises and mimics all the farm animals perfectly (and even confused her Nan into thinking there was a cat in the garden during one of her impersonations). Initially I was angry at fisher price for changing their toy people from my memories of them as a child. Little People Noahs Ark

Advantages: Chunky pieces, opens up completely so easy to play with

...This was one of the first of the many little people playsets that I have got for the children and they love it. The Ark does need minimal assembly when first opened. You will need to secure the cabin onto the deck of the Ark with two screws (supplied..but phillips screwdriver required). Snap a little door on to the cabin. You now have your Ark in two whole pieces, the hollow base and the deck roof, that snap together to make the completed Ark. Now you are ready to go. The roof comes off easily by pressing a large red button at one end..very easy for children to do. The hollow Ark base itself opens right up, again with a very easy to do release button, which allows childrens to play right inside. There is also a ramp door for the animals to go into the Ark 2 by 2! The set comes with rainbow flag that sits on top of the Ark...

Little People toys have given hours of fun!!

Advantages: Easy for little hands to hold, encourage imaginative play
Disadvantages: can be expensive to buy lots of sets

...My nearly-two year old daughter had her first experience of Fisher Prices' Little People range when she was nine months old, in the form of the Train. This came with three animals (tiger, parrot and giraffe) plus the driver dressed as a game/zoo keeper. It plays a tune when you push the driver down in her seat. One of the sides flips down, the tiger and parrot are on a see-saw, and the giraffe spins round when pushed. She had great fun with this, and still returns to it now at almost two to play at letting the animals on and off. She had Noah's Ark bought for her first birthday, and again it has provided her with hours of enjoyment over the year. The Ark comes with a removable roof, and contains several sets of animals (it now comes with three extra pairs of animals then we got!), Noah, his wife, and two crates of provisions...

A little house for little people to play in

...A little house to play in. When we visited Mead open farm Adrian played in their play area one of the toys he liked was a playhouse. It was the country cottage made by little tikes costs £159 including delivery from the little tikes web site. This playhouse would be suitable for children between the age of 2 to maybe 6 or 7 it is not a very tall not a large playhouse so I think older children would be too big for it. The measurements are 131cm/ 4 ft 4 inches tall, width 104 cm 3 ft 5 in, length127cm /4 .2 in. This house is made of strong moulded plastic it has a door, which opens and closes and 4 windows with shutters on. It seems well made and strong. There was a sink and a cooker having taps and knobs to twiddle, inside the house that Adrian played in. I must admit at 18 months old he was not playing house but enjoyed...

Whole Little World.

Advantages: Great fun for kids.

As I have said before in other reviews that I have done on the Fisher Price range these are great and my kids love them. Though the only downfall with being the one set you will go back and buy more. Believe me most kids love them and the fun never stops. ~~ What is the world of the little people ? ~~ Well for anyone that does not have kids or just have not seen these sets, then where have you been for the past 2 years !!! Made by Fisher Price they are all individual play sets. Each set has something different about it weather it be the noises the sounds or the music. Fisher Price Little People Garage

Advantages: Good sound effects
Disadvantages: Size

...A major piece of equiptment once again a little people toy that takes up more space than the average family home can handle. The garage itself has some nice sounds like a ringing phone and engine noises before you wizz down one of the two ramps and a car wash and car mecanics ramp with sound effects. Brightly coloured and compatible witht he other little people systems It also has a car lift which cranks up and down but I have had to put it back on several times as it comes off quite easily. My son has had this unit for 2 years and the batteries have not been changed yet and he plays with it daily so its economical on power but the downside really is the space it takes up....
