...Little Tikes How many times have you heard the saying” That’ll last a lifetime” as your small child is given a wrapped present containing a toy, that you know very well will broken by the end of the month. No so any more. On the scale of durability, a balloon is obviously the least durable, but you have to look no further than your local toyshop to find something made by Little Tikes in order to reach the other end of the scale. In my opinion their choice of slogan is not only accurate, but it is seen to be working in practice. Little Tikes Toys that last a lifetime. The use of these 5 words was brought home to me very recently when one of our children was bought a Little Tikes truck at Christmas last year. ...Little Tikes make a lot of plastic outdoor equipment for children. I have seen and used this large table at several child care situations. Little Tikes make robust equipment. This table is suitable for playgroup or nursery. It is also suitable for home use. The table and fixed benches either side are well contoured and smooth no rough edges. The little tikes table top is yellow the seats blue the legs and fitting for the table to seats is blue. The colours are bright primary colours which will eventually fade of course especially if left out doors. I just noticed there is an alternative colour yellow table dark green legs and lighter green seat. The colours in the picture may be available but it may be an eatrlier coulouring as I can not find this one on lione , think I have sat and played at a grey table top in the past though... ...This morning there was much excitement at Under Fives, our mums, and toddler group. The new Little Tikes kitchen had arrived and after 20 minutes fixing together and adding the pictures it was ready for use. It was not difficult to put together; I had come equipped with my screwdriver! Children were soon crowding round washing clothes, ironing and cooking meals. I regularly saw 5 children around it having fun. I then looked around the room at the toys being played with and it struck me that the toys with the longest useful life were all Little Tike toys. We have a Teeter totter, a rocker that can hold 1,2 or 3 children. We have had this for about 10 years and it is still as popular and apart from having lost it's little Tikes label it is as good as new ready for the next decade’s use. ...Grown ups will love it too! I recently purchased Little Tikes Road & Railset for my 18 month old son. It cost £24.99 and is available from most good shops that stock toys. You are also able to buy extras and add to it, although I don;t think there will be much need to. It is rather large and takes up a fair bit of floor space but the kids love it and it keeps them occupied for ages. It is made from sturdy plastic and is very robust. It is in the form of a mountain with a rail track running through a tunnel under the mountain and a road going up a hill, and through the mountain. It has a helicopter landing pad on top and there is a chute or stairs for the pilot (now I am getting carried away as you see). Advantages: Lightweight and fun for older babies, relatively safe, will last for years, easy on/off, low to ground, safe, fade resistant, quality name, wide base, wipes clean, good height for toddlers to climb on
Disadvantages: Should keep an eye on your child while playing with this rocking horse, possibly tipping hazard, slippery on hard surfaces

...I hate to say this but Granny picked up this Little Tikes Rocking Horse in a local charity shop for the bargain price of £1.50. Even though it was a pre-owned toy, our Little Tikes Rocking Horse is in premium condition and ready to be used for several more years. ~~ FEATURES ~~ This Little Tikes rocking horse is ready for children to play with straight out of the box, so Daddy/Grandpa doesn't have to go mad putting it together. Disadvantages: Difficult to construct, poor quality finish

...'ve been through quite a few in the shops. Second, I've had a lot of difficulties constructing this toy. The first time I tried, I could not get the screws in the back to go flush into the plastic. Little Tikes told me that sometimes the mould goes wrong and the plastic comes out too thick. We had that one replaced. I then spent a couple of hours last night trying to assemble the new one that had been delivered. This time, I cannot get the front roof supports to slot into the relevant holes. Little Tikes are now going to replace this one and we shall try again. No doubt this is a great toy for the kids (although the key noises are enough to drive anyone up the wall) I think that the quality is very poor. We have bought other products from Little Tikes and they have always been excellent, but this is extremely disappointing. To their credit... Read review

...I bet you wish you could buy a brand new car and in 11 years still have it in near mint condition even after having it sit out in the elements, and despite being driven into a tree a few times. Well, you can. It doesn't use petrol either so its great on emissions. I am of course referring to the Cozy Coupe car. I first bought one for my son 11 years ago. I was so impressed with its durabilty, that three years later, I bought another Little Tikes vehicle for our second born. Truth be told, I have bought many Little tikes products, and I have never been disappointed. They are durable, sturdy, and designed to please children. The plastic wipes clean easily, is fade resistant, and stands up against UV damage in general. No rust has yet to appear on any of the metal components such as the wheel bits on the cars. Ride-on toys are a feature of any garden where pre-school children play. They come in a variety of shapes and sizes and some are more ride-in than ride-on. They are propelled by pedals, little feet or indeed parent-push power. The Little Tikes Cozy Coupe is a classic amongst them, the ultimate in toddler motoring!
