...As most people know Little Tikes is a well known brand of Children’s toys. Their toys are renowned for being very robust and lasting years, as well as being on the pricey side. But hey as someone famous once said, "You get what you pay for". So you may be asking yourself from what prospective am I writing this review and how much does she know about Little Tykes? Well I got a son whose nearly 2 and he’s one of them typical little boys who loves climbing things and is generally a bit rough with his outdoor toys! And in our household we have a small slide and swing set (£100), a 2nd hand log cabin (£75), rocking horse (£10), sand and water table (£50), picnic bench (£40), a police car coupe(£30), a trike (c.£25) and a range of indoor toys too. ...I purchased the Little Tikes Travel cot from Mothercare for £43.99 (it wasn't the one they advertised on special offer at £39.99!). My reason for buying the 'Pack and Play', as it's called, was an impending wedding attended by many babies and a limited supply of hotel cots! ~~~TECHNICAL DETAIL~~~ The Little Tikes 'Pack and Play' has two uses, firstly it can be used as a travel cot and secondly it can be used as a playpen. The 'Pack and Play' comes in its own carry bag with a single handle (which is actually attached to the mattress inside the bag.) ~@~ Dimensions ~@~ * Weight: about 10Kgs * Packed size is 85 x 27 x 25cm Which is quite large but still managed to fit in our tiny fiesta's boot with a large suitcase. ...I love Little Tikes toys. If I had my way, I would have a little village in my garden, made up of the Little Tikes playhouses; the country cottage, log cabin and patio playhouse (to name but a few). There would be half a dozen cozy coupes, plus the police car variant and the monster truck, as well as a dinky little petrol station. It would look great with all those bright primary colours and would last for ages and ages. Kids would come to play in my garden from miles around, there’d be milk and cookies and the sun would always shine………......Hmmmm. Got a little carried away there, wot. Hey, you kids, SCAT! As I was saying……I am a great fan of Little Tikes toys. ...Little Tikes make a lot of plastic outdoor equipment for children. I have seen and used this large table at several child care situations. Little Tikes make robust equipment. This table is suitable for playgroup or nursery. It is also suitable for home use. The table and fixed benches either side are well contoured and smooth no rough edges. The little tikes table top is yellow the seats blue the legs and fitting for the table to seats is blue. The colours are bright primary colours which will eventually fade of course especially if left out doors. I just noticed there is an alternative colour yellow table dark green legs and lighter green seat. The colours in the picture may be available but it may be an eatrlier coulouring as I can not find this one on lione , think I have sat and played at a grey table top in the past... Read review

...NEE NAA NEE NHAAA NEE NAAA. Watch out here come the police in the little tikes patrol police car, its been driven by a 4 year old the police man could be between the age of 1 and 5 as it will be big enough inside for them. There is only room for one patrol officer in this car and no space for prisoners behind him. This police patrol car is a version of the cosy coupe you often see children driving around in these cars from little tikes are very popular in childcare settings This car is ideal for the playground or inside in a large space. I did see one at toddler's world at the leisure centre in Dunstable. As you might imaginer this car is made out of plastic coloured blue with the word police on the doors (there are 2). ...Zoom zoom zoom watch out here comes that little tike he nearly knocked you over on the school playground. Little tikes cosy coupe cars have been around in school playgrounds for years. The company was founded in 1970. About the same time as I began my career in childcare. I think the cosy coupe has been around for nearly that long, as I seem to recall children playing with them forever. The cosy coupe is a red car with a yellow roof. This car is for 1 only, no passenger seat. It is foot powered not pedal powered. The child sits in it and scoots the car around. Access is on one side it has a door that opens. ...We bought the grande coupe car for my 22 month old as the legendary cosy coupe was a firm favourite from my childhood in the early 80s. It is suitable up to 5 years. Although oddly the little tikes official website gives the measurements exactly the same as the cosy coupe I know from owning this car the grand coupe is slightly wider and higher. I remember myself playing in the cosy coupe when I was little and desperately trying to squish in! My daughter is fairly tall for her age and I didn't want this to outgrow her quickly. To give you an idea of how roomy it is two 22 month olds can sit together (one on a lap) which is essential to avoid fights breaking out... Although slightly more expensive and roomy, the grande coupe is similar to the cosy - it has a horn and an ignition plus a petrol cap. It also has a boot at the back... Read review

...~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Little Tikes Junior Activity Gym ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Most crèches or children’s play areas seem to have one of these activity gyms and they looked bright and colourful so we decided to get one for my brothers first birthday. The activity gym as shown in the picture is made up of four side panels, each with holes in for the child to climb through. There is a small bright pink slide and a blue floor, which the children can go under or climb on to go down the slide. As we unpacked the activity gym it looked relatively simple to assemble, as it was really just a case of slotting the panels together but don’t be fooled! ...This Little Tikes Activity Gym is great for young children and creates a fun environment which is also safe. The activity gym comes in a large box which contained all the parts. The instructions were clear and easy to follow. Looking at the gym all you needed to do is slot in the pieces. This was true as the pieces did have to be slotted together but getting them together was the hard bit. You need someone strong who can force the sections together but at least the instructions are easy to follow so you don't go wrong (imagine having to undo it and reassemble it!). The activity gym is brightly coloured meaning more fun for the children. Be warned that the colours do not remotely blend in with any surroundings so don't be alarmed when you have this bright coloured object in the middle of your garden. The slide is quite short which...
