...The live 12 month gold card enables the player to play online for a year. When i first received it i accessed it very quickly and was surprised to see how easily i was able to get online and play with millions of people all around the world. All i needed to do was enter the code and i could start playing. The benefits of going live is mainly playing against people all around the world and making new friends. But if you are a hardcore gamer, this is the perfect place to be as you get to challenge the best around the world and you even get ranked. What's more is that you can even download exclusive things only from the xbox live marketplace where you can't get from anywhere else. Overall: A must get for all xbox 360 owners. It completes the console and makes the xbxo 360 that much better....

Xbox live

Advantages: Online gaming, good value, networking
Disadvantages: Some lag, temptation to spend more money on extras

...Xbox Live is good value compared to some other online subscriptions e.g. World of Warcradt or Everquest as with these you pay everymonth just for one game, whereas with xbox live you only pay once to go online with pretty much all your games. You then get tempted, however, to pay for extra online contect such as extra levels, characters, backdrops for your xbox live dashboard, arcade games etc. etc. So it's never as cheap as it seems! The service on xbox live is good and it's rare to have connection issues so gameplat online tends to be smooth. Occasionally you may shoot at someone only to find they already moved- lag is rare but does happen and can be annoying. The range of games that can be played online is excellent, and isn't just shooting and fighting! Guitar hero plays online brilliantly with options for guitar battles...

Xbox Live - It's another world

Xbox Live is the leading service for online experiences on gaming consoles, there are tons of arcade games you can purchase, films to rent, tv episodes to buy - the fun is endless. It should be noted that in order to use this code you need to be able to connect to the internet with your xbox, either by wireless or ethernet. Oh well I was willing to give it a go as you can’t judge something before you’ve tried it can you. *It’s appearance* Well the box is quite lively but the main colour is a dark blue and black. The woman on the front of the box has blonde hair (supposed to be the product) and she looks really happy. The word Live is written pretty big and in black letters. On the side you should find pictures of strands of hair showing you what your hair will look like if you use the dye on your natural hair colour. Mine was kind of medium blonde so I just picked that colour to see what colour my hair would go. I was pleased with the colour so continued to use the stuff...

...Xbox live is undeniably the main reason to own an Xbox, I would go as far as saying that you might as well not bother owning one if you have never gamed online! I went with the gold version, which gives you full access to online gaming, and also offers gamer feedback, online leaderboards and probably most importantly, the ability to talk (abuse jokingly) your opponents live via the headset. I also like the way that you can see what games your friends are playing online from your PC! However, if you do prefer to play single player games, rather than against realtime opponents, the downloadable content on Xbox Live is a great place for enhancing the experience of games you own via new levels, items, tracks, vehicles, weapons, characters- anything you want really. Xbox Live Membership - A Must Have

...This is an exellent product that has great value. If you own an xbox 360, this is a must have. It increases the xbox's abilities by two. You can download game demos, xbox live arcade games, and most importantly play online. Online mode is included in most games, and its really fun to play. You can invite your friends to play with you as well. I currently own Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and Halo 3 (be sure to look at those reviews) and most of the time that I play those, I play online. In both of those games, you can join in a party with your added friends on the friends list and discuss your plans of how to eliminate the other team. Also, if you are interested in getting a larger gamerscore, some games have badges that are only available on online....
