Once upon a time, in Liverpool...

Advantages: An excellent museum dedicated to the Fab Four, suitable for all age groups
Disadvantages: Some of the headsets are a bit dodgy (it was just mine) and some displays not working

...This time during the month of Beatlemania, instead of just writing about the bands albums, films and death theories, I wanted to write about some of the ways in which Liverpool still celebrate the lives of their favourite sons (beside the football players!). Although Ringo made a few disparaging comments towards his hometown a year or two ago, the phrase ?everyone has to start somewhere? springs to mind and ? although I may be a little bias ? I would have to say that Liverpool is very much the land of opportunity compared to where I live! Right at the heart of the city is Albert Dock, a place now surrounded by various shops, museums and even a hotel with the Echo Arena mere feet away. Liverpool Football Club

Advantages: Great squad, great fans, great manager, great history
Disadvantages: No league title for 16 years

Odeon - Liverpool's Number One

Advantages: Good sized screens, great auditoriums, caters for everyone,

Liverpool in trouble

Advantages: One of the biggest clubs in Europe...

Advantages: cheap day out
Disadvantages: a bit boring!

...payed £3 each to get in and then got a pass which will allow us in to all museums and gallerys on Merseyside free for the next year (however, I believe that New labour have promised that all entry in to museums will be free soon anyway...and about time!) Liverpool museum wasnt as great as I remembered it from school trips when I was younger, but my brother and sister love it so maybe its a good idea for a day out with the kids. However when its free, its worth a look around anyway!...

UPDATED Liverpool FC Treble winners 2001

Advantages: On their Day can Beat absolutely ANYONE
Disadvantages: Cant we just win something the easy way for once

...Oh well, I think its about time I re-wrote my opinion on Liverpool, I wrote the original opinion earlier in the season, when we where showing terrible inconsistency, but it seems this got sorted out, as we went on to win a “HISTORIC TREBLE”, by winning the Worthington Cup, The FA Cup and the U.E.F.A Cup, a fete that has never been done by any English team, and hopefully we can round off a great season on Saturday, by gaining the third Champions League place, by beating Charlton Athletic. The Worthington cup was won in Cardiff on the 25th of February, by beating a very brave and committed Birmingham City, who took us all the way to penalties, after the match ended 1-1 after extra-time, maybe this was the warning to us Liverpool fans, that if we won this Treble, it would be at the cost of our Health and Sanity, as this was...

...I have been a Liverpool supporter for the last twenty years, since I was seven years old. Memories from the Eighties of Liverpool winning everything , championships, fa cups, league cups and european cups. Memories of the nineties of Liverpool winning nothing except the fa cup.
