...Let the games Begin... As a game which came free with the Wii console, 'Wii Sports' had little to prove - a title designed to show off the ingenious controls of the new machine, which at times meant that it felt like a bit of a glorified tech-demo. The sequel 'Wii Sports Resort' is tied in with the release of MotionPlus - the little white box that plugs into the bottom of the Wii controller, offering much more accuracy and finesse of controls - but does the game make the most of the new technology, or is it a missed opportunity? Set on the tropical island of 'Wuhu', Sports Resort allows you to compete in twelve different sporting disciplines, each one designed to push your skill and co-ordination to the max. Enjoy the outdoors in comfort and style.

Advantages: Everything you need under one roof
Disadvantages: None

...I came across this store Go Outdoors about 1 year ago when I went with my partner, he needed some new boots for work and he was told about this place from a friend of his. It is a store that sells everything to do with outdoors from coats and jackets to tents, any thing to do with camping, fishing equipment, skiing, cycling, caravanning, boots, maps every thing you need. The store we went to is in Coventry it is situated at Coventry Business Park, Canley Road, just 10 minutes from the NEC which is not to far from us. It had ample parking places, and it is open every day of the week.   Wii Resort For Island Sports

Advantages: Some great mini-games that really show off the MotionPlus accessory
Disadvantages: Expensive to fully kit out two remotes. One or two less compelling mini-games

The magazine is entitled Outdoors and according to the blurb on the opening page it has been created as part of the PlantforLife campaign which aims to help get the most out of your garden. ...Enjoy 12 different sports on a tropical island. If Wii Sports is your kind of game then you will love the playability of Wii Sports Resort. THis game is one of the games that can be used with Wii Motion Plus which in my opinion enhances the game, makes your movements more realistic and ensures hours of fun for the whole family. This game is a for 7 years plus and I do find it very easy to navigate, set up and to play. Like I've said above it does remind me of the regular Wii Sports in that it includes golf and bowling and games similar to that which can be played by a number of players but in this game they have taken those platforms a step further and updated them as well as adding new fun games to play. Advantages: fun to play with family and friends, lots of game choices, some really fun games, multiplayer

Once upon a time, in Liverpool...

Advantages: An excellent museum dedicated to the Fab Four, suitable for all age groups
Disadvantages: Some of the headsets are a bit dodgy (it was just mine) and some displays not working

Advantages: great fun, great multiplayer capabilities

...Wii sports resort is the next step up from the original wii sports game, only not only is it a step up its a leap forward in the fun factor. With even more sports available its difficult to get bored of this game, and very easy to get addicted to it!!!! There are 12 sports available on the game:- swordplay Wakeboarding Frisbee Archery basketball table tennis golf bowling power cruising canoeing cycling airsports. So far my favourite sports have been the wakeboarding, the frisbee and the table tennis, although i have tried all of the sports on the game and i liked everyone of them.
