Advantages: Easy way to keep track of finances
Disadvantages: Can be slow at times

...Lloyds TSB internet banking lets you manage your finances, apply for loans, credit cards, mortgages & pay off bills from home or anywhere with internet access. It seems very secure, you have a 9 digit username which is randomly given to you to prevent people guessing then you have a password which much be more than 6 digits & preferably a mix of letters & numbers. You then also have to enter your memorable information which very similar to a password therefore can be pretty much anything you want it to be as long as you can remember it! Disadvantages: Unethical, pushy sales, poor rates

...Lloyds TSB are becoming increasingly irritating with their in-branch pushy sales tactics. What used to be a five minute visit to the bank has now become 40 minutes as they try and sell you a mortgage, credit card, loan, insurance or an up grade to your account. If I do need to go into a Lloyds TSB branch, I mentally prepare myself before entering so that I am ready to speak assertively when the cashier asks ''There is something flashing up on your account. Do you have a few moments to speak to someone about this? It could be important.'' Don't be fooled. This means they want to take you into a room to try and sell you products and you will feel very awkward about coming out of the room, 40 minutes later, without agreeing to insurance/ credit card/ mortgage. ...I have been with Lioyds TSB for 4 years now and I have never had any trouble with them up till now. The members of staff are very helpful and understanding. They have a computer system which tells the staff what a customer can have so there is no uming and arhing if the computer says you can have a overdraft, debit card or personal loan then you can. That's what I like most about Lloyds TSB, as it saves me time and they can give me a decision on the spot. The computer is updated every month and keeps a record of the last 6 months, so if you have managed your account well for the last 6 months they will be able to offer you a wide variety of services. They offer a wide range of account's, I have choose to go for a "select account". The benefits for this account include free £50 overdraft, free AA membership, reduced interest...

Lovely Old Lloyds!

Advantages: Cheap, Lovely Setting, Comfortable Surroundings, Good Food & Atmosphere!

I have a car policy with Endsleigh and have been happy with them for a few years so we checked out the pet insurance with them. It?s a costly thing to have a dog as vet fees are not cheap. The castration of a dog costs £180 at our local vets, add this to the worming tablets, regular check ups of weight and health when they are growing up and their injections and your looking at more than £ 400. Lloyds Refuses Tranfers

Disadvantages: Dis-honest, Dis-respectful, Delaying transfers for > 30 days

...Lloyds TSB received a written letter from me on October 8th 2008 to transfer 10000 GBP to another of my accounts. They agreed to this because they also changed my address at the same time and that went through. I have now called Lloyds TSB Customer Services >20 times. Almost every day from Oct 9th to November 4th. They give continuously new excuses for not transferring the funds. Every time they go through 5-6 security questions - as if hoping that if I fail one of them - they have an excuse not to serve me. (the normal is to ask 3 security questions, not 5 or 6) They promsed to call me back 10 times - never did ! They promised the transfer would happen the same evening 5 times - and it never did.
