Disadvantages: delivery time is not clear - phone sales reps have bad attitude (or at least the one that I spoke to did)

...hadn't ordered this book instead of the one that I wanted and it turned out that I was right and they had sent the wrong book. Well, after a few calls to an "bad attitude" customer service rep and after they had told me that the book that I really wanted would take another 10 days I decided to cancel the order and request that my credit card be refunded. I still needed the book! I called my local book store "Baytree Books" in Waterlooville - they ordered it and the next day it was ready to be picked up. So what did I gain? What did I loose? Advantages: Special products, great for children, good quality and nice staff
Disadvantages: A lot of impulse buying

...The Disney Store is a shop that sells Disney merchandise. There are Disney Stores across the UK and indeed across the world. There are Disney Stores in Disney World and Disney Land. Advantages: good prices, good value , good range

...There are not too many General Stores about these days but one that stands out for quality and value is undoubtedly Wilkinsons mor affectionately known as WILCO'S. Here you will find a whole range of goods from household cleaning materials to bubble bath and gardening products to pet food. In fact you can buy just about anything for the home, family or garden from here. Wilkinson's can be compared to how Woolworth's were a few years ago and shopping there is a truely pleasurable experience. I regularly purchase goods from them and have no complaints about the quality or price. They are competetive in price with other local retailers and you will always find a bargain there. Wilkinsons stores are springing up all around now, until they built their Chelmsford Store friends of mine regularly made the trek to Harlow to shop...

Brilliant Bargains at the local store.

Advantages: Some real bargains, changing selection ? lots of in-store special offers e.g. 75% off clearance sales.
Disadvantages: Have to visit store regularly, often less popular sizes (not always a disadvantage)

...Well for some reason this company has three entries at Ciao ? so this op concentrates on those can?t be missed bargains at the local store ? trainers for 75p, wardrobes for £45, all brand new? Not sure where to start, but I?ve introduced the Bargain Crazy store with my opinion for the www.bargaincrazy.com Ciao entry which goes as follows ?They also have shops (formally CBS) and locations can be got from the Website ? our local one is at Newtown, from there we have bought lots of clothes, shoes etc, a cot for £60.00, some furniture e.g. 3 door robe reduced from £189 to £45, and for the same price matching shelving unit and a matching ottoman for £9.00. ...Well over the past few months Ive suddenly been in a fortunate situation where I have had to frequent Selfridges on a regular basis to buy goods. I'll tell you the story first before reviewing the store. A few months ago I completed a survey at a tube station. There was a slight delay before the train came so I didn't mind doing it at all to pass the time! It was about George Bush(!) and was for a national paper. A few weeks later I got an email to say I'd won £1000 at Selfridges! I didnt believe it at first and ignored it (I thought it was spam mail) I then got a phone call to ask if Id got the email. It was only then that it clicked! I didnt realise that there was a prize draw for completing the survey and it was completely out of the blue! The voichers arrived and since then I have been popping into Selfridges from time to time...

THIS PHONE IS SITTING IN MY LOCAL O2 STORE WAITING TO BE FIXED...

Advantages: QWERTY KEYBOARD, CAN CHANGE FONT STYLES AND SIZES
Disadvantages: PHONE CALL CONNECTION PROBLEMS, SWITCHS OFF, CONSTANTLY GETTING SWOPPED AT O2 STORE.

The keyboard slides in and out of the phone when you need it, this is a useful function as if it didnt draw back into the phone it would take up a lot more room in my bag and it definitely wouldn't fit into my trouser pocket! You can store and listen to music with 15MB of internal memory and theres a microSD memory card slot enhancing the media player on your mobile phone, I recommend getting a microSD memory card if you do want to use the phone as an MP3 because 15MB will easily fill up. This phone has a built in FM radio so if you don't like listening to music then at least you have the radio to listen to. Camera The camera on this phone is probably the worst camera I have ever used in my life. I've had a lower mega pixel camera phone then this which I think was 1.3 but at least it had a flash! ...I have loved going into the Disney Stores since I was young and, as I am now mid-30's (not revealing my exact age here!), just proves that the magic of the Disney store is for the whole family. There is not a Disney store where I am, they are mainly around the larger cities - near me (I live in Scotland), I think the closest shops are in Glasgow and Edinburgh. Pre-children, I always loved going to the Disney store whenever I visited Glasgow or Edinburgh and I would buy things to put aside for friends' children for Christmas and birthday presents. Now that I have a family it's nice to take them to the stores too whenever we are away. Stores within stores

Advantages: stress free shopping
Disadvantages: none that i can think of

...Debenhams is a very good department store. I cant really fault it. Its an amazingly "stress free" way of shopping, with everything nicely laid out under one roof. How many times have you trudged from shop to shop amongst the crowds feeling yourself getting more and more stressed blisters starting to come, sweating hot, and just to land back at the first shop you visited to purchase that much wanted item! Its particulary good for me because im a petite size eight and they have at least three departments, Anne Brookes, Principles petites and Dorothy Perkins petites, oh and Wallis that cater just for my needs. I am sure this is true of the store no matter what your shape or size. The cosmetic counters are fascinating especially when you see the beautifully made up assistants standing behind them...
