The best just got better!
Advantages: Awesome Picture & Sound Quality, Customisable, Upgradable
Disadvantages: Cost - But as is the way, nice things cost money!
...Technology with style is what this stunning range of televisions from Premium Manufacture Loewe is all about. Finding a TV that fits in with your decor is no longer a problem, these sets are availlable in five different colours with 12 different trim options ensuring it can blend with it's enviroment.
In my opinion, your local Loewe dealer is your best friend when it comes to making sure that you buy the right product. These sets are so simple to use in a day to day enviroment that it's childs play, but if you need it to do more it can. There are many options available to the tech savvy consumer such as DR+, Media Capability, Sat Capability and dolby digital processing. For my money, I purchased the DR+ variant and opted to have the media upgrade fitted too. DR+ gives the TV a hard drive with recording capability, this makes...

More Than Just A Fleeting Wisp of Glory
Advantages: Richard Burton, Julie Andrews, Robert Goulet, Alan Jay Lerner's lyrics, Frederick Loewe's music-most of it.
Disadvantages: Some shopworn, predictable tunes and weak orchestrations.
...when he sings wistfully of the old Camelot at the Reprise of the title track.
Like the great performer that she is, Julie Andrews makes singing Frederick Loewe's music and Alan Jay Lerner's words seem as effortless as breathing. She is in full command of that pristine, sparkling vocal: her five-octave voice is fluid and flexible as a rubber band, her enunciation agile and flawless as an Olympic gymnast. Her distinctive phrasing matches Mr Lerner's very wordy songs. Once more she carries the heaviest load, singing six of the 14 vocal tracks (exclusive of orchestral and choral pieces). Ms Andrews was the darling of Broadway then, and it makes you wonder how her vocal cords held up during those murderous 8 performances per week on Broadway. (The opera singer Maria Callas was astounded to learn of this and once asked Ms Andrews how she...

A TRUE QUALITY TV
Advantages: IT ALWAYS CATCHES THE EYE
Disadvantages: EXPENSIVE
...I have owned a loewe lcd tv for about 2 years. It is fantastic. Its appearance always catches the eye of visitors. My tv has a motorised stand which means you can control the movement of the tv from your remote control or simply program the tv to turn to your desired position when turning it on. This TV does not have to be purchased with a motorised stand as you also have the option of free standing or mounting to a wall. The TVs clarity is second to none and the options available to you regarding your picture, sound, etc is excellent. The downside to this TV is that is it pricey. Including the motorised stand you are looking at about £3000. BUT i have found 'you get what you pay for' A true quality TV....

The best HD LCD I could find
Advantages: Quality, performance, looks
Disadvantages: Cost, ideally more HDMI interfaces
...I went (window) shopping for a Sony plasma TV and came home with a Loewe LCD.
Compared with the Sony/Pioneer/Philips and JVC models on offer I felt the Individual 32 had the sharpest picture, displayed the greatest amount of detail and produced the best sound amongst the 20 or so available. Specifically it shows amazing levels of detail during dark scenes - even better than the Philips Plasma they had in store!
The special offer in House of Fraser that day made the TV irresistible.
The initial setup is easy, and It has built in freeview, connecting it up to Sky HD via HDMI is a doddle, however a second HD source can only connect via the component connectors.
The Individual 32 will allow you to connect via HDMI, Scart, S-VHS, Component (Phono) and a traditional RF antenna. Most importantly you can do it easily - once you...

WARNING - Some X-Rated Content.
Advantages: Very, very funny.
Disadvantages: Not to everyone's taste. Completely irreverent, and very risque in places.
...~ ~ Most of you will probably have heard of an alternative news site based in the USA called 'The Onion'.
It’s run by an oddball character called Mike Loew, and takes a very hard hitting and satirical look at American and world events. If you haven’t looked at it yet, then do so soon, because it’s a complete hoot, while at the same time making some very serious social and political commentary.
I was idly browsing the bookshelves in the local shopping precinct during the week (a much favoured past time of the mad cabbie) when my eye fell on a book called “Tough Call - Hard-Hitting Phone Pranks”.
~ ~ The book is by none other than the aforementioned Mr. Loew, who came up with the rather novel idea of making (and recording) some phone calls. Nothing too novel about that...

Fantastic !!!
Advantages: Value for Money, Picture Quality & Style
Disadvantages: None with the TV only the supplier
...I bought this TV from Empire Direct about 9 months ago for £529 (from memory). What a bargain. Have trawled through the internet to see if this was a good price I was pleased that the best I could find was 50% more.
When the TV arrived it was obvious why Loewe have such a high reputation. This TV (although a little like the inside of a toyota in color, grey plastic) is designed to be a part of the furniture rather than some black box that collects dust.
100 Mhz screen helps but it is noticeably better than others and at half the price. Not a flat screen but it hardly shows. Sound is adequate. The on-screen instructions are desgned by someone who understands that we are not all rocket scientists. 2 scarts, has i-link so you can control the DVD and VHS from the TV. If you find one, buy one you won't regret it. The remote...

Lets summon a demon
Advantages: everything
Disadvantages: none
..., Kitchener, Disraeli, Tycho Brahe and Rabbi Loew. The most important of these, as far as the story is concerned, is Gladstone. In fact, dead though he may be, the presence of Gladstone is felt throughout both books, especially the second, in more ways than one. You see, it was he who engineered the magicians' rise to power in Britain, in the "Night of the Long Counsel" (if that phrase doesn't set off alarm bells in your head, you need to read up on the history of Nazi Germany), when he "went in to Parliament one evening and talked so cleverly that they elected him Prime Minister there and then."
Nathaniel is the main character and it soon transpires that he is a very lonely and bitter child. Because of this, coupled with a most unfortunate incident occuring between him and a wizard named Simon Lovelace, he vows to exact revenge and plunges...

The Small principality
Advantages: A magnificent city
Disadvantages: Expensive
.... Everywhere is immaculate.
Small bistro's and road side cafe's serve the rich and famous.
The large expensive hotels adorn the skyline in the town.
Even its huge lavish casinos leave the glitz of Vegas in its shadows.
The huge harbour is always full of multi million pound yachts and boats that are play things of the rich. Mooring your boat here would cost you an arm and a leg.
Of course, most people visit the town of Monte Carlo once a year via the Television to watch the Monaco Grand Prix.
This is one of the most extravagant events of the sporting year and an institution in motor racing.
In a modern Formula 1 world, there is no place for a small twisty road circuit but it remains because of its heritage and history.
The track takes the driver around all of the famous landmarks of the prinicipality such as the Loews Hotel...
