Youngman 3 section aluminium loft ladder

Advantages: Easy to fit, smooth operation, easy to use, and overall, very safe.
Disadvantages: Maximum duty ratng of 100kgs.

...As someone who has a wealth of experience fitting loft ladders I found the Youngman 3 section aluminium loft ladder to be my favourite. I have fitted many different types of aluminium loft ladders such as concertina and 2 section ladders. I fitted the Youngman 3 section ladder to my own house for the following reasons: It was compact enough using up only 0.8m floor space when in a stowed position. The model I purchased had an adjustable handrail that extended well into the loft at its highest setting. This offers great security and stability for the user when getting back onto the ladder from inside loft. In circumstances where the optimum handrail setting was restricted due to in-loft clearance the handrail also offered great security and grip when adjusted to the lower setting on the ladder. An essential item for taking to the Dark Side of the Loft !!!

Advantages: Functional and fun ... a cleverly designed and well made gadget !!!
Disadvantages: Despite being a torch it will probably be used as a toy (by adults) !!!

Looking for a bad night out?

Advantages: Good music mostly, cheap drinks, nice atmosphere.

DO NOT Stay at the Temple Bar Loft Apartment

...Don't be fooled by the pictures of the Temple Bar loft apartment, I stayed 22/02/08 to 25/02/08. This place is a disgrace. Almost 900 Euro for 3 nights in such a run down dump is a complete rip off. Boiler was leaking and tripping off continuously. We reported this but no one came to fix it so had to put up with the shower running hot and cold. All walls are badly stained, probably water leak stains. The kitchen has been badly fitted and in need of repair. The sofa is also disgusting as are the windows and curtains and all electric sockets are about to fall off of the walls. No batteries in any remote control and the speakers for the stereo were stained and disgusting. This place has never been cleaned. However the bed linen did appear clean. Do not stay here, its filthy and should be closed until it has been fully refurbished....

The best space saving gadget bar none!

Advantages: Absolutely fantastic!
Disadvantages: Not too good if you get a puncture!

...and you can fit a huge amount of baby clothes in them. Once sealed and "sucked" they reduce in size by an amazing amount and we have stored ours in the loft. I have also used them for storing holiday clothes (interesting to note that the clothes do not come out that creased) and bedding (duvets and pillows just shrink before your eyes!). As the bags are vacuum sealed, everything inside is kept fresh, even when stored in a loft. The items inside do not attract damp or smell musty. The bags themselves are very easy to use. They look a bit like huge freezer bags with a disc in the middle of one side and have the type of seal that you can find on most supermarket bags of grated cheese! You just open the bag, put the items that you want inside and close the bag using the seal. Then simply pop your vacuum hose over the disc in the middle...
