Logitech V450 Laser Cordless Mouse for Notebooks
Advantages: really small, easily transportable. works on most surfaces, great Battery life
Disadvantages: Hard to open without scissors
...I recently got this mouse from Toys R Us about 1 month ago. I choose it because it was small only priced £19.99 (in a sale) and made by Logitech I like that make it has never let me down. The thing I like most about it is the size of it its only about 10 centimetres the wireless USB receiver is only about 5 if that. The reason I bought it is because I was getting annoyed at my laptops touch pad as it was really small and you cant drag or highlight things and the fact that im a gamer so I really needed a mouse. This was my first laser mouse as well the other ones I've had are the ones that have the big red light at the bottoms I think there called optical mouse's.
What comes in the box?
Well you get a package(the really annoying plastic stuff which you cant open unless you use scissors.)
A disc which contains the control panel...

Logitech G5 Laser Mouse - Perfect for gamers!
Advantages: Very comfortable grip, extremely smooth across the mouse mat
Disadvantages: May be considered expensive to some - but not if you want a great mouse!
...I first got into online gaming about 3 years ago and didn't have a clue about specific gaming keyboards and mice. I was happily playing with the 'standard' mouse that came with my PC until I upgraded my whole set up and decided that as I was gaming more frequently I needed a specific gaming mouse.
Logitech are renowed for their gaming equipment and after hours of research on the internet decided the Logitech G5 Laser Mouse was exactly what I needed.
I loved the look of this mouse from the moment I saw it but as my hands are not that big (i'm a girl after all!) I was slightly concerned that the mouse wouldn't feel as comfortable as the smaller mouse did that I'd had before. It also looked a little heavier than my previous mouse but looks can be deceiving! I first used the mouse to surf the Net to get used to it and I was extremely...

Logitech MX3000 wireless keyboard / laser mouse.
Advantages: Total precision of laser mouse and comfort hold
Disadvantages: non rechargeable batteries
...I was firstly just looking around for a laser mouse as my cordless keyboard I had was still in good condition but the mouse was on it's last legs and was eating batteries.
On doing my research I found that pricewise it was better value for money to purchase the complete desktop set which included a laser mouse.
I have always been a fan of Logitech and have used their products over the years without any problems.
This latest product is without doubt one of my better purchases.

great cool mouse
Advantages: looks good, very wireless
Disadvantages: none
....
This mouse from Logitech is great not only for PCs and laptops but also for Macs as its white colour and cool shape looks quite like the current cool Mac mouse's. However its cheaper than buying a replacement Mac mouse and also its got three buttons as opposed to only having two like Mac mouse's have.
It a very small shaped mouse however it fits nicely into your hands and its really easy to move about too. Its surface is kind of a nice shiny almost glass like white finish and feels really smooth and looks new no matter how old it is.
It connects via 1.2 wireless Bluetooth technology and it can go quite a range away without losing signal. In fact it can be used up to 30 feet away from your pc Mac or laptop which could indicate a good mouse to control a home theatre pc in a living room.
The only downside with most wireless...

Logitech MX1000 Laser Mouse VS Microsoft
Advantages: comfortable, lots of customisable controls, long battery life, good response
Disadvantages: none really
...for the the past 18 months and I only replaced it because i thought that the improved resolution would make a difference to working on photographs in Photoshop, it doesn't. In fact the difference in quality and functionality between the two mice means I have split up the matching set of Microsoft laser keyboard and mouse and am now using Microsoft keyboard and Logitech mouse. Although desperately need to get rid of the overpriced Microsoft keyboard and replace it with something more reliable.
To conclude, if you are in the market for a new hi definition cordless mouse - I would advise not going for the bigger name of the two (Microsoft) but rather go for this Logitech. It's a great product which will give you everything you need from a mouse and then some....

Logitech G7 Laser Cordless Mouse
Advantages: Fast, Good build quality, Hot swappable batteries, great software
Disadvantages: None
...This mouse is truely one of a kind.
It's the little things logitech have thought about that make this mouse stand out from the crowd.
First off, it's comfy - Very comfy.
I find myself gaming for hours, with no problems whatsoever - I don't even use a mousemat as the high quality laser works just fine on my desk surface
Secondly, The little features that make this mouse shine
Batteries - The mouse has 2 hot-swappable batteries.
This means you can leave one battery to charge, while using the other. When the one in use runs out or begins to get low, simply swap them over and carry on - No hassle, no waiting to recharge.
Buttons - Obviously, left and right click - But the G7 offers more!
It has sensitivty controls, full, medium and low - Personaly i configured the medium setting to be my preffered sensitivty for desktop...

Logitech G5 Laser Mouse
Advantages: Customisable DPI, Interchangeable weights, Smooth to use
Disadvantages: Right hand specific
...I bought this mouse about 2 years ago to replace my age-old wireless MicroSoft mouse, which was finally biting the dust after a lengthy life in service.
I chose this mouse over the (at the time) over the Logitech MX 518 because of the added benefits of having a high DPI laser mouse for gaming. The weight of the mouse is customisable by means of inserting small (4.5g and 1.7g) weights into a neat little cartridge that lives underneath the mouse. This was one of the best things with this mouse as it allowed me to keep the same weight and feel of my old wireless one - very handy not having to get used to another mouse again!
The software that comes on CD is easy to install and use. It allows you to set 5 different DPI settings (changeable from the mouse) as opposed to the 3 default ones if you don't install the software...

Logitech VX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse
Advantages: Size, build, shape, number of controls, battery life
Disadvantages: Signal strength as a media centre mouse
...Look and feel are amazing, the USB receiver slots into the mouse turning it on and off which is cool. Choice of smooth or ratchet scroll wheel which is nice, scroll wheel tilts left and right as buttons, and pushes in as a button but I find this really hard to use. Zoom in and out toggle and back and forward buttons, all configurable. Small-ish but fine for large hands I feel. Massie teflon feet glide so well. It only takes one AA battery which is nice and the laser technology is very precise. It's extremely comfortable, I have been in favour of Logitech over Microsoft mice for a while now, it's like holding a water baloon, it's the exact shape you'd want a mouse to be (assuming your right handed!) Range seems to be an issue if your planning on using it for a media centre PC at any distance. Sometimes I have trouble at about 1 meter if...

Logitech V450 = Great Mouse
Advantages: + Easy to use + Great feel in hand
Disadvantages: - Faultless in my opinion
...I bought this mouse after going through 2 Microsoft mice of a similar price and functionality. The problem with the Microsoft mice were the USB dongle was so long and it was top heavy, so it caused a intermittent fault where the dongle would not register as being plugged in unless giving it a waggle, not very good to the mouse, never alone your computer.
So I bought the Logitech, the small dongle was the main selling point to me from first glance. But having used it for a few months now I can see it has much more going for it. It is very responsive, and very light and easy to use. I use it for generally browsing the internet and using my MacBook from day to day. I also use it to play World of Warcraft and it works like a charm because it fits the contour of your hand making it very comftable.
In my opinion this mouse is great...
