Excellent quality Keyboard & Mouse from Logitech!

Advantages: Hot keys, looks smart, warns you when batteries are running low
Disadvantages: Stands on bottom of keyboard are not strong enough

...I purchased this Logitech S510 wireless mouse and keyboard a few years ago when I was getting my own computer. I had previously used a wired keyboard with hot keys which was good, but it started to show signs of wear and tear and so I wanted everything new, including a mouse and keyboard. I wasn't too fussy but I did want a keyboard with hot keys, as I had become so used to using them, and by a trustworthy brand, not by a brand that I had never heard of before. Also, I wanted it to be wireless, as having wires out everywhere can look messy and untidy, and even though they can be hidden behind the computer desk, they always managed to get tangled up. Logitech V250 Cordless Mouse and Number Pad

Advantages: no need to use the touchpad on a notebook
Disadvantages: cannot store USB wireless connector within the mouse

Logitech LX5 Cordless Optical Mouse

...The Logitech LX5 Cordless Optical Mouse consists of two parts. The transmitter which connects to the PC's mouse port and the mouse itself. OK, three parts - a driver CD too. Installation is straight forward and you can use it without the driver CD but it does add a few extra features so is worth installing. The transmitter has a USB connector but Logitech have included a USB to PS/2 adaptor to ensure it works with all PCs. One nice feature is the battery warning lamp. Wireless keyboards and mice can be a pain when the batteries die so having a warning indicator to give you time to get more is a boon. In use, I found it rather small in my palm and I don't have very big hands. I had to adopt a slightly different way of resting my hand on it but it soon became natural so not a huge deal. People with bigger hands may struggle though...
