...Look and feel are amazing, the USB receiver slots into the mouse turning it on and off which is cool. Choice of smooth or ratchet scroll wheel which is nice, scroll wheel tilts left and right as buttons, and pushes in as a button but I find this really hard to use. Zoom in and out toggle and back and forward buttons, all configurable. Small-ish but fine for large hands I feel. Massie teflon feet glide so well. It only takes one AA battery which is nice and the laser technology is very precise. It's extremely comfortable, I have been in favour of Logitech over Microsoft mice for a while now, it's like holding a water baloon, it's the exact shape you'd want a mouse to be (assuming your right handed!) Logitech G5 Laser Mouse - Perfect for gamers!

Advantages: Very comfortable grip, extremely smooth across the mouse mat
Disadvantages: May be considered expensive to some - but not if you want a great mouse!

Awesome mouse, just be careful the laser does not get dirty.

Advantages: Easy and flexible functionality, looks great, holds a good charge.
Disadvantages: Laser can get dusty easily and require cleaning.

...I have had this mouse about 1/2 a year since I brought it, and it has improved browsing and use of my computer greatly. It is simple and elegant - the software is easy to use and allows you to program all the buttons to do different things for different applications. You might want to change the document flip scroll to work as a zoom in Photoshop for example. You can do that in a few simple clicks with the software. The two features I use most are the flybar type scroll wheel and the back and forward buttons. ...I bought this mouse about 2 years ago to replace my age-old wireless MicroSoft mouse, which was finally biting the dust after a lengthy life in service. I chose this mouse over the (at the time) over the Logitech MX 518 because of the added benefits of having a high DPI laser mouse for gaming. The weight of the mouse is customisable by means of inserting small (4.5g and 1.7g) weights into a neat little cartridge that lives underneath the mouse. This was one of the best things with this mouse as it allowed me to keep the same weight and feel of my old wireless one - very handy not having to get used to another mouse again! I've had the mouse for about 3 months now but am still a bit unsure of what to do with the weights. I've put a few in, taken 'em out, put 'em back again and I just can't tell the difference... I'm probably a klutz. I love the textured finish and as a right-hander everything falls into place perfectly but feel sorry for the left-handers out there who'd like to use one. The thing I like most about it is the size of it its only about 10 centimetres the wireless USB receiver is only about 5 if that.
