Logitech MX3000 wireless keyboard / laser mouse.
Advantages: Total precision of laser mouse and comfort hold
Disadvantages: non rechargeable batteries
...I was firstly just looking around for a laser mouse as my cordless keyboard I had was still in good condition but the mouse was on it's last legs and was eating batteries.
On doing my research I found that pricewise it was better value for money to purchase the complete desktop set which included a laser mouse.
I have always been a fan of Logitech and have used their products over the years without any problems.
This latest product is without doubt one of my better purchases.

Awesome mouse, just be careful the laser does not get dirty.
Advantages: Easy and flexible functionality, looks great, holds a good charge.
Disadvantages: Laser can get dusty easily and require cleaning.
...I have had this mouse about 1/2 a year since I brought it, and it has improved browsing and use of my computer greatly. It is simple and elegant - the software is easy to use and allows you to program all the buttons to do different things for different applications. You might want to change the document flip scroll to work as a zoom in Photoshop for example. You can do that in a few simple clicks with the software.
The two features I use most are the flybar type scroll wheel and the back and forward buttons. Both features work as described on the logitech website and have made browsing large websites much easier for me.
As a pointing device the MX Revolution is very smooth. The pad on the bottom of the mouse allow for a smooth glide, while the laser is very accurate. Though as pointed out in my title, the laser is tucked away in...

The best mouse there is when it is working OK
Advantages: USEFUL FEATURES, BATTERY LIFE, SMOOTH PRECISE OPERATION
Disadvantages: FRICTIONLESS SCROLL WHEEL IS NOT VERY LONG LASTING
...the click to click that I was used to. This was my only concern before purchasing the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000, but in use I am now preferring it to the usual click to click that I was used to, I find the notchless scroll wheel of the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000 to be a more precise way of scrolling, I would be very surprised if anyone were to find the notchless scroll wheel a problem.
Judge for yourself with the MX Revolution, but in my opinion if you want a excellent cordless laser mouse, then I don't think you will get much better than the Microsoft Wireless Laser Mouse 7000. I will be writing a review on this mouse when I have had time to find out the time between charging and the battery going flat.
I just thought the update to this review with my experience of the MX Revolution may be interesting and or useful to...

Logitech MX1000 Laser Mouse VS Microsoft
Advantages: comfortable, lots of customisable controls, long battery life, good response
Disadvantages: none really
...runs at 1000 dpi. The microsfot though has a custom function which is a zoom control so that you can zoom in increasingly closer to your work with a dedicated control (albeit one set of the button controls) however, this can also be achieved with the Logitech as well.
Programming the button in the software is easy on both mice and should produce no problems to anyone who is capable of using the programs that would benefit from them.
Because both mice are wireless, they need synchronising with their base units which in turn are connected to the computer via USB cable. Because the Logitech has its own little neat cradle, the synch button is just below where the mouse sits. You press the button on the cradle and then press the small button underneath the mouse and hey presto, its done. I found this rarely needed doing on the Logitech...

Logitech wireless Mouse M305 - a great replacement for a dud
Advantages: wireless with more freedom, responsive, comfortable.
Disadvantages: more expensive than a wired mouse.
...In November 2009 I bought a Logitech M305 wireless mouse, which cost £19.99 at Currys.
General information
Logitech was founded in 1981 in Switzerland and is a world leader in mice. The M305 wireless mouse is designed for use with laptops and is very comfortable in the hand.
It looks the same as the picture you can see on ciao website i.e. grey colour with black feature. However if you visit Logitech?s website you can see it?s available in 7 colours. I would describe the size as standard for a laptop mouse. It has a two-button design with a single scroll wheel in-between. However the palm rest is a little taller and more arched than most mice on the market.
The package is the size of a small book and easy to open. It contains a wireless mouse, a nano-receiver, an AA battery and a quick start guide.
How to start using it...

Logitech VX Revolution Cordless Laser Mouse
Advantages: Size, build, shape, number of controls, battery life
Disadvantages: Signal strength as a media centre mouse
...Look and feel are amazing, the USB receiver slots into the mouse turning it on and off which is cool. Choice of smooth or ratchet scroll wheel which is nice, scroll wheel tilts left and right as buttons, and pushes in as a button but I find this really hard to use. Zoom in and out toggle and back and forward buttons, all configurable. Small-ish but fine for large hands I feel. Massie teflon feet glide so well. It only takes one AA battery which is nice and the laser technology is very precise. It's extremely comfortable, I have been in favour of Logitech over Microsoft mice for a while now, it's like holding a water baloon, it's the exact shape you'd want a mouse to be (assuming your right handed!) Range seems to be an issue if your planning on using it for a media centre PC at any distance. Sometimes I have trouble at about 1 meter if...

World's Most Advanced Mouse?
Advantages: Looks stunning, loads of configuarable buttons, hyper-fast scrolling
Disadvantages: Expensive, removing packaging caused me to scratch the mouse
...-fast scrolling!
The other buttons are a back and forward rocker and a search button, which launches your favourite search application.
The mouse fits well in your hand and the laser precision is noticeable compared with optical. The mouse has a good range, meaning that you can use it far away from the computer.
Overall I love this mouse. Although it's not quite as much of a revolution as I had hoped it to best, the mouse looks stunning and the hyper-fast scrolling is a must.
I purchased the Logitech MX Revolution from amazon.co.uk for £51.67 (free shipping)....

Logitech MX500 optical mouse without the cheese
Advantages: Tonnes of functions via the 8 buttons. High quality laser
Disadvantages: Software on CD is a bit over the top
...The Logitech MX 500 is the first optical mouse I have owned personally. Having used a couple of different brands at work, I was aware that the quality of these devices differed greatly between manufacturers. I paid £30 for this mouse when I bought it a couple of years ago so you should be able to pick them up for a lot cheaper now.
--Whats in the box--
On opening the box, you will find the mouse itself with its extension cable and usb connector, a ps/2 style adapter which connects to the usb end of the mouse to allow it to be connected to the old ps/2 style interface, a quick installation guide and a cd which includes various software such as logitech updates, the logitech desktop and some various other mouse software which is not required.
--Setup and Installation--
If you are using the mouse with the usb interface then it...

Mega Mouse - go on, your digits deserve it!
Advantages: smooth, precise, sexy looking, full of functions, rechargable
Disadvantages: expensive, excessive packaging
...I bought this mouse yesterday to accompany the new Logitech MX3200 laser keyboard I purchased as well.
The mouse comes in a massive box which is in-itself heavy and makes you think you are getting more than you can see. The packaging does look good though and is obviously there to try and justify the high price.
Getting the mouse from the packaging is not the easiest of jobs and requires some thumb strength to prize it from its clear bulletproof vacuum moulded cover. The mouse comes with its own natty recharging stand, a transformer and a bluetooth connector.
Setting it up is the easiest of jobs and Vista recognised it immediately and didn't even require the software. I loaded the Logitech software however so that I could configure the different options properly. The software also automatically checks to make sure the latest...

Logitech G5 Laser Mouse - Perfect for gamers!
Advantages: Very comfortable grip, extremely smooth across the mouse mat
Disadvantages: May be considered expensive to some - but not if you want a great mouse!
...I first got into online gaming about 3 years ago and didn't have a clue about specific gaming keyboards and mice. I was happily playing with the 'standard' mouse that came with my PC until I upgraded my whole set up and decided that as I was gaming more frequently I needed a specific gaming mouse.
Logitech are renowed for their gaming equipment and after hours of research on the internet decided the Logitech G5 Laser Mouse was exactly what I needed.
I loved the look of this mouse from the moment I saw it but as my hands are not that big (i'm a girl after all!) I was slightly concerned that the mouse wouldn't feel as comfortable as the smaller mouse did that I'd had before. It also looked a little heavier than my previous mouse but looks can be deceiving! I first used the mouse to surf the Net to get used to it and I was extremely...
