The microphone is pretty average and you do need to be pretty close for people to hear you (but it is a headset and that is the idea). This will also help to cancel out the background noise I guess. Conclusion The Logitech PC Headset 120 is great value for money if you can find it for less than £10 - but it is still worth it if you pay up to £15. I would definitely recommend this product....

Great Headset

Advantages: Clear sound

...of the headset has a push-and-pull joint. If I am using it, I have to set it to maximum length. if my 10-year-old nephew would use it for some PC games, he just pushes the headband inward and it adjusts itself at about half an inch. The head band is soft with its rubberized texture and it is lightweight so it doesn't make me feel like being 'gripped' at the head while using it. I like the headband's 'adjustable length' feature of Logitech Dialog 812 Headset as it adjusts to different head parameters. The Earpieces Logitech Dialog 812 Headset's earpieces amazed me with their good sound-quality output. They deliver bass-rich sound and the treble is well-adjusted. My New Logitech Headset

Advantages: Good Sound Quality, Good Microphone, Very Comfortable

...I bought these headphones for use with my Play Station 3 since I broke my only other USB headset. When they arrived I plugged them into my Play Station 3 and my computer (Windows Vista Ultimate) and they were recognised straight away. One of thing I noticed when I first got this headset is that the ear pieces are a lot smaller than the ones on my old headset which was also Logitech (forgotten the name). Like most headsets the size is adjustable so it can fit any normal sized head. The sound quality through the microphone is really good and it doesn't pick up deep breathing sound like my old headset. Also the sound that comes out of the headset is at a good quality too. When I was playing in a clan match I could make out every word our team said. ...The artwork on the box of the product shows a man talking animatedly into the headset connected via his laptop, nothing strange as of yet, apart from the fact that he is sitting in the middle of the park, looking needless to say a complete fool?. Jokes aside, the Logitech30 is conventional in appearance, with closed-cup earpads and a microphone connected to a flexible cable. It sports a USB connection which makes it very easy to connect to your PC or Mac. However, there are no analog connections, which means that you are unable to use the headset with a sound card. Atleast the sound quality is good. It doesn't have the detail of the higher and more impressive models such as the Sennheiser PC155 USB but this is masked to an extent by the high level of volume which it produces. The recording quality is very disappointing...

...After standing on my old head set and breaking the microphone I was forced to go out and buy a new Microphone or new headset. Whilst browsing my local computer store I found this pretty and cheap Logitech headset. At less than 30 pounds and connecting using USB I thought I would give it a go. The head set is a very nice and stylish design with a robust feel and feels very good round your head. With soft cushion padding around the headphones there is an aesthetic feel to the design making it very comfortable to wear. With an acceptably long USB cable it manages to reach to the back of my desk and down to the back of my computer. The main control centre and amplifier for the head set is on the cable about half a foot away from the USB jack, meaning that the head set is a lot lighter than other USB headsets and a lot more comfortable...

...This microphone headset simply plugs into the USB port on any PS2 console. The port is found beneath the controller and memery ports location. It is very easy to install the Headset its plug and play. TheLogitech Headset lets you talk with your online friends, play online games. Headset only comes in one color gray but the color is not to bad in quality. It also has a leather cover on the earphone but very easy to break. The newer versions this unit come with a mute button, while older ones don't but really this is not needed because most online games come with a mute option anyway. The Logitech Headset is very good value for the money but if you want something a bit more sturdy then you will end up paying 2* more. I had one of these and all i got was bad sound quality from the earphone the second problem was i stoped...

Premium Logitech headset

Advantages: Good Sound, cheap
Disadvantages: Breakable!, microphone mute button

...I have now bought 2 of these within the past 6 months. So far my experience has been good, the sound quality is definately satisfactory and it is a bargain at around £20. I mainly use this headset for online gaming and internet voice chat, it has definately suited the purpose well. It has an adjust belt clip which can be used to mute the mic and increase/decrease the volume. This is fairly handy as you don't have to exit a game to turn the sound down and the mic can be muted at any point. There is however one small problem I have found, this is that the microphone mute button occasionally gets caught on clothing etc and can mute the microphone whilst you are talking not a major issue but a little annoying. The volume maximum is definately loud enough and I don't recommend leaving it on the highest setting or you might be left...

Excellent headset - a bit big for travel though!

Fantastic headset, comfortable and easy to use

Advantages: Lightweight, Cool ears!!
Disadvantages: Not adjustable - but I didn't need to!

...I had been looking at this headset for ages before I finally decided to take the plunge after my cheap and nasty headset died, and I already have a logitech trackman optical mouse which has done me proud for many, many years so I was keen to purcahse from the same manufacturer. I've read the reviews here and at other sites, and I have to say that all the negative comments that I have seen were not the case when I received my headset and started playing with it. Setting the microphone up couldn't have been simpler - plug in the appropriate holes, fire up whatever programme you want to use (for example, skype, google chat, etc) and go! At first glance the headset looks a bit odd, I have to admit, but once I put it on it felt very comfortable and it looks fine - in fact it's really quite stylish! The ear cushions are a nice soft...

Sennheiser PC 120 Headset

Advantages: Great crisp sound, excellent fit
Disadvantages: Lack of volume control with Xbox 360

...Having worked in call centres before I was quite disappointed to learn that Microsoft's official headset for the Xbox 360 was just like the one I was accustomed to, you know the one that pulls half your hair out when you take it off and makes you look like one of the chickens on that car insurance advert, therefore you can imagine my delight when the new Sennheiser PC 120 arrived at my door. The headset ( as you can see from the picture below) goes with the more modern bluetooth style that fits comfortably over and into your ear, you can also switch between your left and right ear depending which way feels more comfortable. When you first see the connections on the end of the headphones you think to yourself, "now where am I going to stick that on my 360's controller" due to the 2 x 3.5mm jacks (I will explain these later) on the end...
