...The first thing I will say about the Logitech AF Webcam is: This is more then a webcam! Unfortunately with my Mrs not currently living in the same place as me and due to the fact that I knocked off and stood on my old webcam, it became time for me to buy a new one. Now my old webcam, a Logitech Zoom I bought back 4 year ago and the Camera served me very well! Now I am no worker for Logitech, nor am I biased towards them for any reason at all, but it seems that it's fair to say that they own the market when it comes to the world of Webcams. Anyway, back to Logitech AF. Now I managed to get this for about £65, but you may pay more or less depending on where you get it from. Now I know that £65 is a lot to spend on a webcam, but for me, who uses it almost daily, I didn't feel it was so much, if of course, the camera was worth it...

Logitech Quickcam Pro 9000 an excellent buy

Advantages: Produces a really good quality picture
Disadvantages: Expensive and sometimes struggles in low light conditions

Another great product from logitech

Advantages: Great image quality (for a webcam)
Disadvantages: Disappointing face tracking feature

...The guys at the logitch factory seem to be churning out great products at the moment. The Logitech sphere happens to be one of them. I purchased this webcam for around £72 from amazon which may sound pricey, but several other shops are charging £100. A decent webcam would normally set you back £40-50 so the extra £30 is definetly worth it. Works with Msn messenger, windows messenger, yahoo messenger and AOL Instant messaging. Logitech have to be one of the best manufacturers of Webcams and the quality, feel and look of the unit is great. The Logitech QuickCam Express

Advantages: small, quite nice looking, fairly cheap, works
Disadvantages: installation bit laboriuos, some features don't work when not administrator on XP

...The Logitech QuickCam Express is a nice looking webcam, with a neat little stand and very curvy lines. The camera and base are both whitey, so I don't reckon it would look that good with a black monitor. However, the base is around 9cms wide, and can't be put on top of a TFT moitor easily - at least not mine. If it has to be put on your desk, next to your monitor or whatever, then it doesn't really look up high enough, its really designed to look down on you not up. The focus ring is blue, which blends in nicely but the lens is a bit like looking into a black hole. I don't know if that's the same for all webcams, but it freaks me out a bit if I look straight down it. I got mine for £19.99 from a retail shop, which isn't too bad, and was deffinately a lot cheaper than the others they were advertising on their website. So I reckon it ain...

Here's some information that hopefully you'll find helpful: When I bought the Camera, it came with a software CD with excellent programs on it, and the camera has a generous USB cable. The camera is very good technically, the picture quality is good most of the time, but can be grainy in darker areas. The built-in microphone is good at close range but can be difficult to hear when used in the normal position (on top of the monitor).
