Official blurb:
When you're ready to work, your mouse should be ready, too. And with the Logitech® Cordless Click!™ Plus Rechargeable Optical Mouse, it will be. When not using it, just keep the mouse in the convenient rapid-charge base station, which also doubles as the wireless receiver. And don't worry about running down the battery: a single charge lasts up to five weeks!*
What's more, this mouse looks stunning, and it feels even better, thanks to a sculpted shape that fits comfortably in your right hand. And once you start using the advanced features, you´ll wonder how you ever got along without it.

Yet another cordless optical from Logitech
Review of Logitech Cordless Click! Plus Rechargeable Optical Mouse - mouse by
theenglishviet
Advantages: Cordless, ergonomic, comfortable, built in battery
Disadvantages: Office button annoyingly positioned
...into the base unit after every use. Even though the battery life is claimed to last up to five weeks after a charge, i've not actually tested this. I've never left it for more than four days without it in the base unit and it hasn't ever died on me.
The mouse fits into my hand quite well. Its blob design with groove for the thumb works quite well as it does with other Logitech mice. However, the thumb buttons are situated here, so i'm afraid teh mouse isn't all that left handed friendly.
The buttons work well enough, as they should. I do feel that i have to crawl my thumb back to reach the bottom button. There are two buttons on teh thumb here, which command the internet forwards and backwards (these are reprogrammable with the software). A bit strange for me at first as the bottom button was the back, and the top button was the forward...

The Mouse Without A Tail.
Review of Logitech Cordless Rechargeable Desktop keyboard , mouse by
belfin
Advantages: No wires trailing
Disadvantages: none
...Thanks to a couple of survey sites I found myself with some spare Amazon vouchers just before Christmas and instead of doing the normal thing and using them for the family, I decided to treat myself to a new keyboard and mouse. I had a good look around, as there are so many to choose from these days. I basically wanted to get one of the cordless keyboards and an optical mouse to go with it but I'd heard about problems with always having to constantly replace the batteries for the mouse so when I saw this rechargeable one I was delighted, especially at the price it was selling for.
***Logitech***
This company was founded in 1981 and celebrates it's 25th anniversary this year. It has offices and manufacturing facilities worldwide and I have never really heard any major complaints about them.
They sell a wide range of products...

Logitech MX1000 Laser Mouse VS Microsoft
Review of Logitech Mx 1000 Laser Cordless Mouse by
fightgear
Advantages: comfortable, lots of customisable controls, long battery life, good response
Disadvantages: none really
...is fully charged or very low via three gree led's. In constant use, the Logitech seems to last for ages providing you put it back on its cradle every now and again it will run on for ever. I have been using some top grade nimh batteries in the Mircosoft and it seems to go through them faster than the logitech rechargable unit.
I have used both mice on a variety of programs, word, publisher, powerpoint, photoshop, dreamweaver, etc and both have worked well and not had any integration problems. I must say that potentially, the Microsoft mouse might have a small edge in Photoshop due to its increased resolution but if there is a difference it is absolutely tiny.
I've seen some reviewers criticise the price of this mouse but if you shop around, it actually comes in cheaper than its Microsoft competitor.
The MX1000 has run faultessly...

Logitech G7 Laser Cordless Mouse
Review of Logitech G7 Laser Cordless Mouse mouse by
magsmagsmags
Advantages: Fast, Good build quality, Hot swappable batteries, great software
Disadvantages: None
...This mouse is truely one of a kind.
It's the little things logitech have thought about that make this mouse stand out from the crowd.
First off, it's comfy - Very comfy.
I find myself gaming for hours, with no problems whatsoever - I don't even use a mousemat as the high quality laser works just fine on my desk surface
Secondly, The little features that make this mouse shine
Batteries - The mouse has 2 hot-swappable batteries.
This means you can leave one battery to charge, while using the other. When the one in use runs out or begins to get low, simply swap them over and carry on - No hassle, no waiting to recharge.
Buttons - Obviously, left and right click - But the G7 offers more!
It has sensitivty controls, full, medium and low - Personaly i configured the medium setting to be my preffered sensitivty for desktop...

My Mouse has No Tail, No Ball and No Red Light!
Review of Logitech Mx 1000 Laser Cordless Mouse by
Deru
Advantages: Cordless, Rechargable, Accurate Laser, Battery indicator, Quick charge, Lots of buttons
Disadvantages: A bit expensive for some, Some buttons don't work in non-Microsoft software, A bit heavier than other mice
...I've only ever owned wired Mice for fear of poor battery life, but I recently took the plunge and bought a Logitech MX1000 Cordless Laser Mouse to go with my Logitech Media Keyboard. I bought it from Ebuyer for £38.37 plus £3.83 Super Saver delivery. The price now is £35.69 plus delivery. They like to drop prices AFTER I buy the items. Anyway, you can also find it in the high street in Dixons, PC World, etc but usually more expensive. I also found it at CCL Online for the Ebuyer haters.
The mouse has a non-obtrusive Logitech logo on the top. The Left and Right-click buttons are part of the casing / shell so you do not see where the buttons begin. I think this design looks really nice compared to normal mice where it is obvious where the left and right buttons begin as indicated by a gap. The black area seems to be made of some sort...

The tale of the mouse with no tail
Review of Logitech MX 700 - mouse by
dfjericho
Advantages: cordless, rechargeable, 8 buttons
Disadvantages: for right handers only - no lefties allowed
...When I first aquired the logitech MX700 I was at a crossroads in thinking whether this mouse would actually be any good. With working in the IT area I heard opinions and people whinging about wireless mice and their unexplained ability to "ruin" your gaming fun just at that crucial point when your just about to aim the mouse at an opponents head and WHOOSH the cursor goes all over the place due to some beknown reason. Another analogy that probably can sum this up is if your doing some rather precise photo-editting and trying to edit out the grey hairs in a photograph before emailing, just as you click the mouse moves sporadically across the image thus ruining most of your handy work and forcing you to use the "undo" feature.
Well Fear not. I can safely say that this mouse has none of the benign features associated with the older...

A cordless mouse that performs like a corded mouse
Review of Logitech Mx 1000 Laser Cordless Mouse by
fatboyslim
Advantages: As good if not better than a high end mouse
Disadvantages: A little bit heavy but there is more in a cordless mouse than a corded one
...I have been in the market for a couple of months for a cordless mouse but have been a little put off by the things I have read on them ie pointer lag (pointer not moving as quick has it should when mouse is moved) and just generally not performing as good as a corded mouse.
Well you can forget all that with the Logitech MX 1000 laser mouse. The movement is as smooth as a corded mouse, although I have to say the mouse I had before this was a Logitech corded mouse and the MX1000 is smoother than that. The MX1000 has fast RF transmission, what this means is there is none of the drawbacks that are associated with cordless mice such as mouse lag.
The mouse has a litium ion rechargeable battery that Logitech says will never need replaced, also the mouse comes with a 3 year warranty which is some warranty.the top of the mouse has the now...
