Advantages: wireless, accurate, comfortable, and durable
Disadvantages: doesnt like super super fine work, gets tacky quite quickly

..., and certainly makes light work out of everyday use, saving yourself from early Repetative Strain Injury and getting one shoulder like sylvester stallone... so as a mouse goes it seats reletively comfortably between a regular mouse and the graphics tablets, so i suppose its all dependant on budget as to whether this is for you... if you can spare the money then you wont get better for the price.. but in my personal opinion, i would rather have a tablet than fork out x amount on the more expensive trackball type of mouses as it is just an upside down mouse at the end of the day, and for twice the price of this, i would have thought you would be into more than just everyday home use... in summery this is a fantastic mouse, its price over useability ratio is well worth it, and it does offer a great amount of control without ending up with friction...

The problem with the Microsoft mice were the USB dongle was so long and it was top heavy, so it caused a intermittent fault where the dongle would not register as being plugged in unless giving it a waggle, not very good to the mouse, never alone your computer. So I bought the Logitech, the small dongle was the main selling point to me from first glance. But having used it for a few months now I can see it has much more going for it. It is very responsive, and very light and easy to use. I use it for generally browsing the internet and using my MacBook from day to day. ...I bought this mouse about 2 years ago to replace my age-old wireless MicroSoft mouse, which was finally biting the dust after a lengthy life in service. I chose this mouse over the (at the time) over the Logitech MX 518 because of the added benefits of having a high DPI laser mouse for gaming. The weight of the mouse is customisable by means of inserting small (4.5g and 1.7g) weights into a neat little cartridge that lives underneath the mouse. This was one of the best things with this mouse as it allowed me to keep the same weight and feel of my old wireless one - very handy not having to get used to another mouse again! Much easier to use than a normal mouse.

Advantages: Easy to use, faster, more comfortable, much better for gameplay.
Disadvantages: Lack of extra function buttons that you might expect from a more expensive mouse.

...I bought one of these about a year ago, it was a little hard to get used to at first as I had been used to a normal mouse, but once I got the hang of it I found it much easier to use. It's very useful for use with laptops on the move as it is easy to use without much room as the mouse does not move, just the ball. I have since purchased a second so now I have one for my laptop and one for my desktop PC. It's also good for gaming, much easier to spin around in shoot-em-ups, target more effectively etc. than a normal mouse that requires you to clunk it around to move any distance. I've also found it to be very good for playing World of Warcraft. Only downside I would point out is the fact there are no buttons bar the standard right and left click. Could cause problems if you are used to using many buttons on a mouse, such as when gaming...
