Logitech V450 Laser Cordless Mouse for Notebooks

Advantages: really small, easily transportable. works on most surfaces, great Battery life
Disadvantages: Hard to open without scissors

...I recently got this mouse from Toys R Us about 1 month ago. I choose it because it was small only priced £19.99 (in a sale) and made by Logitech I like that make it has never let me down. The thing I like most about it is the size of it its only about 10 centimetres the wireless USB receiver is only about 5 if that. The reason I bought it is because I was getting annoyed at my laptops touch pad as it was really small and you cant drag or highlight things and the fact that im a gamer so I really needed a mouse. This was my first laser mouse as well the other ones I've had are the ones that have the big red light at the bottoms I think there called optical mouse's. What comes in the box? Well you get a package(the really annoying plastic stuff which you cant open unless you use scissors.) A disc which contains the control panel...

Logitech V450 = Great Mouse

Advantages: + Easy to use + Great feel in hand
Disadvantages: - Faultless in my opinion

...I bought this mouse after going through 2 Microsoft mice of a similar price and functionality. The problem with the Microsoft mice were the USB dongle was so long and it was top heavy, so it caused a intermittent fault where the dongle would not register as being plugged in unless giving it a waggle, not very good to the mouse, never alone your computer. So I bought the Logitech, the small dongle was the main selling point to me from first glance. But having used it for a few months now I can see it has much more going for it. It is very responsive, and very light and easy to use. I use it for generally browsing the internet and using my MacBook from day to day. I also use it to play World of Warcraft and it works like a charm because it fits the contour of your hand making it very comftable. In my opinion this mouse is great...

Good for travelling but not the best feeling mouse by a long way

It is stored easily inside the mouse when you need to move it around and is very small on the computer too. The range is also very impressive. Battery-life: This is average to good for a cordless mouse and runs off 2xAA batteries. They can be expected to last at least 6 months on average use. Laserpointer: Very good for a cordless mouse without a doubt, but still not as good as even a mid-range corded mouse. Buttons: Not as good as I had thought. The 2 main left and right buttons are just a little bit harder to press than my microsoft mouse, and after a few thousand clicks this starts to be noticeable and strain. The middle mouse button, likewise, is a bit hard to click. There are no buttons on the sides...

...if i wasn't on a completely flat surface & the mouse wasn't totally flat then the cursor would jump over to the other side of the screen sometimes - not with Mr V450. The laser is "advanced" so it will track on almost any surface (probably not on the top of a bowl of soup though ! ) so, no, I haven't had the same problem with this one, it glides around & once i had slowed down the speed of the cursor i am finding it very easy to use Perhaps its a little too small for my paws, my only niggle, but there are molded trenches at the front for your fingers to sit in which make it easier to click so i am finding it to be very comfortable still. The wheel can be pushed left or right as well as clicked, which means you can zoom in and out on e.g. photos & finally, there's a slot underneath the mouse where you can put the USB which automatically...

Logitech MX1000 Laser Mouse VS Microsoft

Advantages: comfortable, lots of customisable controls, long battery life, good response
Disadvantages: none really

...for the the past 18 months and I only replaced it because i thought that the improved resolution would make a difference to working on photographs in Photoshop, it doesn't. In fact the difference in quality and functionality between the two mice means I have split up the matching set of Microsoft laser keyboard and mouse and am now using Microsoft keyboard and Logitech mouse. Although desperately need to get rid of the overpriced Microsoft keyboard and replace it with something more reliable. To conclude, if you are in the market for a new hi definition cordless mouse - I would advise not going for the bigger name of the two (Microsoft) but rather go for this Logitech. It's a great product which will give you everything you need from a mouse and then some....

.... This mouse from Logitech is great not only for PCs and laptops but also for Macs as its white colour and cool shape looks quite like the current cool Mac mouse's. However its cheaper than buying a replacement Mac mouse and also its got three buttons as opposed to only having two like Mac mouse's have. It a very small shaped mouse however it fits nicely into your hands and its really easy to move about too. Its surface is kind of a nice shiny almost glass like white finish and feels really smooth and looks new no matter how old it is. It connects via 1.2 wireless Bluetooth technology and it can go quite a range away without losing signal. What is this logitech product? Logitech wireless mouse is a computer mouse that does not have a wire! It works by sending wireless signals to the reciever via USB This Mouse has quite a high value of around £30 so I thought this was very nice of Dell:) Mind you.... Nothing is free these days as they say! The mouse that I had with my Dell was not retail packaged so unfortunately I cannot comment on that.. But! I can comment on the packaging supplied with mine:) The packaging was the commercial packaging used when giving this handy mouse away with items, obviously Dell have some sort of contract with Logitech.
