Estella Hotel and Apartments Did NOT Disappoint!

Advantages: Excellent location, superb customer service levels and lovely rooms
Disadvantages: No real facilities for the disabled

...at (Paphos) was about 70km from Limassol where we were staying. On arrival at Paphos airport on 30th April we were met by a very friendly taxi driver who grabbed our heavier bags and easily carried them to the car. The journey to the hotel took about 40 minutes and it was nice that the car had air conditioning as arriving in a very warm Cyprus early afternoon after coming from a rather chilly London was quite a shock to the system! EASE OF BOOKING: 10 out of 10 On arrival at the hotel, we found the reception staff to be very friendly and attentive. The reception area was tidy and welcoming and my cousin and I grinned at each other as we checked in, thinking that it was already a good start. Apartment smelled of drains

Advantages: Nice pool, pleasanr helpful staff, appartment very clean
Disadvantages: Bathroom stunk of drains, kitchen antiquated, no kettle, toaster or hairdryer

SUNSHINE MAKES EVERYTHING LOOK GOOD: We made our way up to the pool area and were pleasantly surprised by a couple of big pools, lots of sun loungers and umbrellas, a couple of quiet bars and a restaurant. It all looked quiet, sunny and inviting. We sat down and enjoyed an iced tea and toasted sandwiches. We had been up since 2am and I had only had a cup of coffee and water so I was quite hungry by now. The waiter was lovely and the food was fine. LUXURY IN LONDON!

...In the middle of February, I was lucky enough to be whisked away for a long weekend in London with my grandma. I?m a huge fan of west end shows and musicals, and so our trip was booked- we would go and see various different shows. I couldn?t wait to go. One thing I hadn?t thought of before going however was which hotel we were staying in. I reckoned that we wouldn?t be spending too much time in the hotel itself, as we were going to be very busy, so as long as it had two beds, a bathroom and some sort of wardrobe I?d have been happy. The are a number of small towns with lots of pubs, shops and Edinburgh woolen mill shops around. There is Aberfoyle and Callender within 10 minutes drive which both have an array of shops and tourist centers. Around the area near the hotel is a number of large rocky mountains and mountain streams all within walking distance of the hotel. There are also three beuatiful lochs within 5 to 10 minutes that can be cycled round or just to sit by for a picnic, we took advantage of the picnic sites around the lochs quite frequently...

Immediately we were overwhelmed with the swish new surroundings and by the grandeur of a once, shadowy and very old tarnished rail station; St Pancras had been transformed. Disadvantages: Signal Failures, Broken Trains and Heat!

The control centre for the District Line is located at Earls Court, and all trains on the line pass through here. Earls Court also provides a link to the Piccadilly Line. Perhaps surprisingly, the District Line operates two different types of train. The main line services run D stock trains. The branches that run to Edgware Road and Olympia run C type trains. ...This past weekend we had an American colleague of ours come to London for the first time so my husband and I (we work at the same company) decided to take her around sightseeing and show her some of London. As we work quite near the Tower of London and both hadn't been here since we were kids we decided to make it our first port of call. The Tower of London is situated right on the River Thames in the borough district of Tower Hamlets with the closest tube station being Tower Hill on the Circle and District Line. It was built by William the Conqueror in 1078 originally intended as a Royal Palace. It was then used as a prison with a great number of very famous prisoners, mostly kings and queens of England and the various wives of Henry the 8th. This is where the phrase "sent to the tower" comes from in terms of being sent to prison...
