...of the word clean. +++Prices+++++ We paid £99 per night for a triple room including breakfast which is great for Central London. They were happy to take a telephone booking in return for a credit card number. Details of the prices are on the web site. +++Summary++++ Overall it was a nice, friendly, small hotel and if they cleaned it up I would be happy to go back again. Otherwise I will not be going back! There are lots of other hotels in the same road which might be worth considering....

Victoria Park Plaza Hotel, London It's More Than A Hotel!

Advantages: Pleasant Staff, Good Customer Service, Nice Breakfast
Disadvantages: Expensive

...also room for the guest staying for a short break. The food was delicious and the breakfast was plentiful with a range of choice for the continental breakfast. The food was fresh and tasty. It was served at the correct temperature and filled me up for the whole morning. You could eat as much or as little as you wanted and nobody would give you any hassle or rush you. The juice was fresh and tasty and it wasn't out of a carton. There was so much choice and everyone seemed to be enjoying the breakfasts. Victoria Park Plaza is centrally located just 2 minutes from Victoria Underground, Gatwick Express and National Rail station, with direct services to central London, Gatwick Airport and the South of England. The hotel is within walking distance of some of London's main attractions including Buckingham Palace, Harrods in Knightsbridge...

Briliant Value In Central London

Advantages: So cheap, clean, quiet
Disadvantages: No facilities beyond the bare minimum

..., probably because Friends and Will and Grace are more appealing that the cartoons they were showing on the other channels that day, what with it being shortly after Christmas (the photo on the website implies you'll be munching away to the BBC Breakfast?) The breakfast room could seat about 20 people and most of the tables were full while we were there, dispelling the myth that we were the only guests in residence. So how much did a night in this remarkably acceptable central London hotel cost? A mere £65 in total for a triple room and breakfast for 3. This, dear reader, is considered a wild bargain in m mind, and explains why my expectations were low prior to arrival. It was much more of a bed and breakfast than a hotel and there were no real facilities (a small reception area, garden and breakfast room were essentially it) but it was all so...

Apex City of London Hotel - outstanding

Advantages: Lovely staff, beautiful rooms, modern hotel

...We wanted to stay somewhere in central London that was value for money, and found this brilliant hotel for only £69 per night. We booked directly with the hotel itself, and while the system can be a little frustrating the transaction went through smoothly. This was in December 2008, so we didn't expect any decent hotels so close to Christmas to be so cheap. While this hotel is a little out of the way of main attractions it is close to the Tower of London, and to Tower Bridge and easily accessible by bus and tube. On arriving by tube, we found the hotel was alittle bit tricky to find, and were saved only by the fact that by boyfriend's phone has sat-nav! On arriving we were greeted by friendly and efficeint staff. The entrance to the hotel was modern and swish, befitting a four star hotel with marble and stainless tell everywhere...

Advantages: Beautiful setting in a buzzing part of London

...The Ashley Hotel is a superb, well-priced B&B hotel in a gorgeous location in central London. It is situated in Norfolk Square, Paddington, and is just 2 minutes walk from Paddington station. Paddington itself is a buzzing district of London adjacent to the West End, and is packed full of shops, restaurants, bars etc. Norfolk Square is an oasis of tranquility amongst this. It is a square (obviously) of tall, elegant Victorian mansions, all of which have been turned into budget hotels. The hotels are painted white and cream, and have tall windows and beautiful old railings outside. In the centre of them all is a railed garden. Obviously, it was once a place of residence for people of means in the Upstairs-Downstairs tradition. The Ashley Hotel comprises 3 mansions made into one, and has 50 (I think) rooms. Wonderful hotel in London, I would highly recommend it!

Advantages: Brilliant location, modern rooms, clean and friendly.
Disadvantages: None I can really think of, if I had to mention something it'd be the pricey internet.

Easy Hotel London Victoria.

Advantages: Great value hotel. Right in the heart of London. Lovely staff.
Disadvantages: None that i can think of.

...I will start by saying i love london. It is such a wonderful city for so many reasons: The shopping, the sights, the parks, the history,the nightlife, eating out, and the buzz of london city life. There is so much to see and do but staying in hotels in the centre of london can be VERY expensive. BUT not when you stay with easy hotels. I just want to say dont be put off having a great london break because of overpriced hotels. When me and my girlfreind go to london (2-3 times a year) we always stay at the easy hotel in VICTORIA. Right in the heart of the city FOR ONLY £35-£40 PER NIGHT AND THATS FOR THE TWO OF US!!!!!!!! Now in my opinion that is a great deal. OK you can spend £100s per night for a hotel with an over priced bar and an expensive resturant, and a bit more luxurious hotel. But what is the point of all this you are in...

...I stayed at this hotel when I went to London for a two night stay, it was a travel package which included coach travel down, we didn't know where we were staying until we got there and believe me if I had have known I wouldn't have gone. The outside looked okay and the lobby didn't look too bad either but then we went in our room, it was very dark and dull and very dated, it was fairly clean though. The toilet and shower were seperate the toilet needed updating also, there was tiles in it and they were cracked and looked as if they had been stuck on by somone who didn't know what they were doing. There was no bath just a stand alone shower squashed into a cupboard that was hidden with a door. The food- The travel package included breakfast and tea, there wasn't much choice, if your fussy your stuffed basically, and it was all cold...

A Central Location, Ideal For Exploring London

Advantages: Reasonable deals on rooms, good facilities, nice spacious rooms, central location
Disadvantages: Prices of the extra items such as breakfast

...the bill settled and ready to leave within about 5 minutes of arriving at the reception desk. The small amount of interaction we had with the staff they all seemed friendly enough and really made sure we had everything we needed. As we had a few hours to spare before our train on the Sunday we were also able to leave our luggage in their secure luggage room. This helped us immensely and made our last day in London a lot easier. Overall the hotel did exactly what we were looking for. It provided us with a nice central base from which to explore London. It was easily accessible by tube and train, making it easy to find our way to where we wanted to go. The bed was comfortable enough and despite the price of the extras, the room was very good value and incredibly comfortable. If you are looking for a Hotel to explore London or for a theatre...

...This hotel ideally located in the centre of London and is perfect for whether you are staying the capital for business for for pleasure. The central location means that it is extremely close to all of the capitals main attractions. Very close to the westend, it is perfect if you want to go and see a show. The rooms in this hotel are high class and are ideal for anyone, particularlly if you are travelling with your family. The food here isnt that bad, but there are plenty of of other places around to find a bit to eat. I wasnt to keen on the food but that was my personal opinion. The staff were also very helpful and I couldnt fault to qulity of serivce. A definite thumbs up!...
