Fruity friendships with fruit bursts
Review of London Fruit & Herb Company Fruit Burst Selection Teabags by  duskmaiden

Advantages: Flavoursome, smell wonderful
Disadvantages: The peach is a bit weak

...always return to these bags as the four different flavours are great for different times of the days I feel some fruit and herbal teas claim to work miracles such as energising, boosting your immune systems etc. The London Fruit and Herb Company do not make such radical claims. Perhaps this is reflected in the pricing of their products compared to other brands. A box of twenty tea bags only costs the bargain pride of eighty eight pence compared with roughly one pound fifty for Dr Stuart’s tea bags. London Fruit and Herb are a very popular company and thus you should be able to find a range of their products in all supermarkets and health food shops. The first thing you notice when you pick up this stylish box is its appearance. It is a shiny silver box with pictures of juicy looking appetising fruit which makes your mouth water. Yes my... My Favourite Fruit teabags
Review of London Fruit & Herb Company Apple Bliss Teabags by  Rosassnaps

Advantages: Very healthy drink, and caffeine free.
Disadvantages: None. Maybe more expensive than normal tea.

...Have you ever tried a different way of drinking tea? Do you think that you take in too much caffeine during the day? I know that there are de-caffeinated teabags available, but I would like to tell you about some delicious Fruit Teabags, which are absolutely caffeine free. THE LONDON FRUIT & HERB COMPANY make a large variety of fruit teabags, which are naturally caffeine free. They are also free from artificial preservatives and free from artificial colours. Each bag contains: just 4 calories; a trace of protein; 1.0g of carbohydrate, of which sugars are 0.4g; a trace of fat; a trace of fibre and 0.1g of sodium. I have always drunk the traditional English tea, ever since I was very young, although I would never have sugar in it (weird really, as I have a very sweet tooth). Before I could explain things properly, I... Read review

Fruitiness that Packs a Punch
Review of London Fruit & Herb Company Fruit Punch Selection by  supersexycoolchick

Advantages: Refreshing alternative, great range of flavours, can be drunk hot or cold, hardly any calories, no caffine, natural ingredients - need I go on?
Disadvantages: None really, you can find a flavour to suit you

...I’m not a coffee drinker and I can take or leave tea (just so happens that I’ve left it for the last 2 years or so), so when I spied this at my local Asda for just 80p for the whole box, I had nothing to lose. My initial intention was to take them to work with me to give me an alternative to snacking – and it does actually work. So now my draw is filled with such things as this and honey and goodness know what else! Did you know that 1.5 million Brits drink more than 2 million cups of fruit and herb tea every day as a great way to refresh, revitalise or just relax? It’s true… Customers have been enjoying the particular intense and invigorating flavours of London Fruit and Herb since its launch in the late 1970s. Today, London Fruit and Herb is still renowned for its fruitiness and great taste and thanks... Read review

Fruity drink with a punch
Review of London Fruit & Herb Company Fruit Punch Selection by  Sarcasm101

Advantages: Extremely tasty and Caffeine Free!
Disadvantages: None that I can think of

...definately in the background. Cranberry and Apple First thing that hits you with this is the gorgeous cranberry smell that filter up from the mug. On tasting it however, it was the apples which definately dominated this combination. It was almost granny smith apple flavour. You could taste the cranberries, however the apples subdues the usual bitterness associated with cranberries. Blackcurrant Bracer This was definately my favourite pick from the bunch. The sweet tasting blackcurrants simply made my mouth water! It was the strongest tasting of the bunch, not to say that was a bad thing, in fact it was most welcome. The only way I can compare it, is the taste of a blackcurrant lemsip without the bitterness, and with added warmth on the tongue. bursting with flavour
Review of London Fruit & Herb Company Fruit Burst Selection Teabags by  jymwal

Advantages: refreshing, very low calorie, delicious hot or cold
Disadvantages: not found any yet

...I have tried many fruit teas in the past. They either don't taste of what they say they do or they don't taste of anything! The London Fruit and Herb Company have got it just right. I now buy their 'Fruit Burst' selection, being a fickle person and getting bored easily it is nice to have four different flavours in one box. They do a wide variety of different flavours but in this specific box you get: Blueberry Bliss Peach Paradise Pink Grapefruit Crush Echinacea with Orange the ingredients are: Apple pulp, hibiscus, blackberry leaves, grapefruit, blackcurrant, orange, liquorice root, lemongrass, rosehip, echinea, roasted chicory root, cinnamon, ginger, clove, blueberry, peach, malik acid, citric acid. (in various proportions). Nutrition... Read review

Great alternative to tea...
Review of London Fruit & Herb Company Blackcurrant Bracer Teabags by  mrs_dodger

Advantages: Caffeine Free, lifts your spirits!
Disadvantages: none

...This herbal tea from the London Fruit & Herb Company is a great pick-me-up without the caffeine. It tastes just like Blackcurrant Cordial and you don't need to add anything to it because it's got such a great taste. Just pop the tea bag into your cup of hot water, leave to infuse for a couple of minutes and away you go! You might want to add a touch of cold water to cool it down a little, but otherwise, it's a great drink. Prices vary between supermarkets, but its about 80p for 20 sachets in a box. There are several different flavours to try from Strawberry & Raspberry Swirl (another of my favourites), to Lemon Zester, and the best way to do this if you've not tried the brand before is to get the variety pack which has five sachets of four of the flavours in the one box. Each drink is naturally caffeine-free and low... Read review

Lets Get Fruity Shall We
Review of London Fruit & Herb Company Fruit Punch Selection by  cacalala1971

Advantages: Too many to mention
Disadvantages: No string on the bags

...drinks). The box cost 80p from Asda, which works out at 4 pence a bag, a bit more expensive than your run of the mill breakfast teas, but in my opinion well worth it. You can write to the London Fruit and Herb Company at: Premier International Foods Bridge Road, Long Sutton Spalding Lincs or alternatively you can contact them by freefone on 0800 374 100 No website address seems to be advertised. *Final Thoughts* Although I have thoroughly enjoyed these fruit teas they may not be to everyones liking, especially as there are some caffeine monsters out there (I was one)!!, and these teabags contain not a trace of caffeine. However, they make a lovely refreshing drink (either hot or cold), and I for one will be buying them (well at least until I can start to face coffee again). Overall I would give... Read review

Herbal Infusion for the Herbal Tea Lover
Review of London Fruit & Herb Company Fruit Burst Selection Teabags by  MurkyDismal

Advantages: Tasty, easy to make, cheap to buy, available all over, smells amazing
Disadvantages: Not individually wrapped, can be bitter

...I have tried loads of different types of Herbal Tea in the past, and have always ended up with the same conclusion…. I don’t like it. Well that was until I discovered The London Fruit and Herb Company, and their Fruit Burst selection of Herbal Tea. I like the fact the box contains a variety of flavours, in this case, Blueberry Bliss, Peach Paradise, Pink Grapefruit Crush and Echinacea with orange. The box itself is silver in colour with four square splashes of colour. Each coloured square represents a different flavour in the box. The names of the flavours are clearly shown across the front of the box with the benefits of drinking these drinks and the directions on how to drink these drinks shown on the side of the box. The nutritional values and ingredients are also shown on the box. This box of tea bags contains 20... Read review

Paradise Is The Steamy Aroma Of Plump Peaches
Review of London Fruit & Herb Company Fruit Burst Selection Teabags by  Sexy-Kay

Advantages: Full of flavour with a strong fruity smell. Inexpensive
Disadvantages: May not be a sweet enough taste for some.

...always leave it in for at least five minutes as this is more invigorating. There's no getting away from it, I'm so grateful for the day I first spotted 'London Fruit & Herb Fruit Burst Selection' in Asda supermarket. It's also the cheapest place I've found to get your hands on the stuff when you need a supply. In health shops, like Holland & Barrett, they'll charge you a top whack price of 99p. Now if you too would like to seek Bliss or Paradise the box required stands out from the others. It's a sexy silver with four highly coloured pictures of the different flavours on the front. It's about 8x13x7cm in size and weighs in at 40g. Open up the flip top box and inside are four sealed silver packets, each containing five of what look like round tea bags. That's one packet for each flavour. I've already mentioned Peach Paradise... Read review

An excellent alternative to tea and coffee
Review of London Fruit & Herb Company Fruit Punch Selection by  thevicar

Advantages: Excellent Value, More-ish
Disadvantages: Having to trail to the supermarket to buy them?

...With only 4 calories per cup, caffeine-free and no added sugar, the only thing left to review is taste and price. Price - in supermarkets these are now marketed as "Typhoo Berry Burst", and retail at Asda for 78p for a box of 20. At Holland & Barrett they still retail under "London Fruit & Herb" but are the same product, although the selection varies as follows: Typhoo Berry Burst Selection contains Apple & Cranberry Crisp; Cherry Charger; Strawberry & Raspberry Crush; and Blackcurrant Bracer. LFH Fruit Punch Selection contains Cranberry & Apple; Lemon Zest; Strawberry & Raspberry Swirl; and Blackcurrant Bracer. So taste-wise then?... Compared to Twinings Exotic Selection, which contain various fruit flavours, these are a much more stronger taste, not as delicate as the Twinings. They are literally full of flavour, and offer...
