Advantages: Great location on the river Thames
Disadvantages: prices on the higher side
...I booked the Tower Hotel in London via www.lastminute.com at a price of £150 for one night room only. This was a discounted price; they normally charge around £100-£120 per standard room a night, but as this was the Olympics prices have been increased and therefore £150 was a discount price.
but bearing in mind the location of right next to tower bridge and it was the Olympics I felt it was fair...

The pleasent Park Hotel
Advantages: Excellent food, brilliant service & good value
Disadvantages: Can be quite expensive if you are trying to work to a budget
...& evening in the peak summer months. I visited this hotel in October so there was no entertainment on but you didn't really miss it as the bar in the evening was very pleasant & very good value for money the drink prices where no different to here in the UK maybe a little bit cheaper about 80p for a soft drink £2 for a glass of wine & £2.50 for a beer but obviously all the money is in the Croatian Kuna...
