Golders Hill Park is a great place to go to if you are in North London, probably better for children than the Heath because it is a smaller, 'bite-sized' version. It doesn't have any of the wildness of the Heath and the pleasure you get from the views or the strolling through the woods in the Heath, but it is a still a great way to spend an afternoon...
