...The Victoria Park Plaza in London is an amazing hotel that has very comfortable, quality rooms and staff who are friendly and professional. The best thing about The Victoria Park Plaza is that it is in a prime position just two minutes from Victoria Station and an easy walk to some of London's main attractions. I found it perfect for shopping and buying souvenirs. There were also quite a number of restaurants close by and my mum who cannot walk far didn't complain once. Although we ate at the hotel we also sampled London's China Town. It is a four star hotel and lives up to the standard. It is situated close to Buckingham Palace, Harrods, Westminster Abbey and Houses of Parliament. The hotel does not allow smoking anywhere near the building which my mum and I really appreciated because we are both none smokers. The smoking ban made...

Easy Hotel London Victoria.

Advantages: Great value hotel. Right in the heart of London. Lovely staff.
Disadvantages: None that i can think of.

...I will start by saying i love london. It is such a wonderful city for so many reasons: The shopping, the sights, the parks, the history,the nightlife, eating out, and the buzz of london city life. There is so much to see and do but staying in hotels in the centre of london can be VERY expensive. BUT not when you stay with easy hotels. I just want to say dont be put off having a great london break because of overpriced hotels. When me and my girlfreind go to london (2-3 times a year) we always stay at the easy hotel in VICTORIA. Right in the heart of the city FOR ONLY £35-£40 PER NIGHT AND THATS FOR THE TWO OF US!!!!!!!! Now in my opinion that is a great deal. OK you can spend £100s per night for a hotel with an over priced bar and an expensive resturant, and a bit more luxurious hotel. But what is the point of all this you are in...

Luxury in Victoria!

...I have just returned from staying in this hotel with my boyfriend over New Years for 2 nights. We booked it through Hotel Direct, as they offered the best deal and I have used them before without any problems. ** Hotel Location *** The address of this hotel is 2 Bridge Place,. Victoria, London, SW1V 1QA. Its situated directly opposite the side entrance of Victoria station & underground which is extremely handy! You come out of the hotel and cross the road and your in the station. Despite this, the road that it is on is pretty quiet, and there's no noise from the station, although there were a couple of building sites nearby, but these were pretty quiet (but could have been because it was New Years Day!) However, most of London is a building site at the moment, they seem to be sticking apartments up in every little space they can...

Superb London Budget Hotel

Advantages: Beautiful setting in a buzzing part of London
Disadvantages: Not suitable for disabled people - no lift

...The Ashley Hotel is a superb, well-priced B&B hotel in a gorgeous location in central London. It is situated in Norfolk Square, Paddington, and is just 2 minutes walk from Paddington station. Paddington itself is a buzzing district of London adjacent to the West End, and is packed full of shops, restaurants, bars etc. Norfolk Square is an oasis of tranquility amongst this. It is a square (obviously) of tall, elegant Victorian mansions, all of which have been turned into budget hotels. The hotels are painted white and cream, and have tall windows and beautiful old railings outside. In the centre of them all is a railed garden. Apex City of London Hotel - outstanding

Advantages: Lovely staff, beautiful rooms, modern hotel
Disadvantages: Slightly out of the way of the West End

...We wanted to stay somewhere in central London that was value for money, and found this brilliant hotel for only £69 per night. We booked directly with the hotel itself, and while the system can be a little frustrating the transaction went through smoothly. This was in December 2008, so we didn't expect any decent hotels so close to Christmas to be so cheap. While this hotel is a little out of the way of main attractions it is close to the Tower of London, and to Tower Bridge and easily accessible by bus and tube. On arriving by tube, we found the hotel was alittle bit tricky to find, and were saved only by the fact that by boyfriend's phone has sat-nav! On arriving we were greeted by friendly and efficeint staff. The entrance to the hotel was modern and swish, befitting a four star hotel with marble and stainless tell everywhere...

...Having read several bad reviews of the Victoria Hotel, Amsterdam, I thought I'd better add my 2 pence worth. I recently spent two nights here after finding a bargain last minute deal on the internet. PROS We booked a triple room, which was two twin beds and a third camp bed (added to the room after we arrived). The beds were comfy, and the room and ensuite were both spotless. The staff were exceptionally helpful and polite - one even recommended a restaurant which served vegetarian food. The swimming pool is free for guests to use, although we didn't. Despite being directly opposite the station, the rooms were lovely and quiet at night. Room service is excellent, and the food is delicious!! CONS The walls were a bit thin - you could hear voices and televisions late at night but this was only a problem on the first night...

Wonderful hotel in London, I would highly recommend it!

Advantages: Brilliant location, modern rooms, clean and friendly.
Disadvantages: None I can really think of, if I had to mention something it'd be the pricey internet.

I usually don't like staying in London due to small rooms, unfriendly service and a lack of good value accommodation, however, this hotel had nice sized rooms, friendly and helpful service, and was good value for its central London location. ...I stayed at this hotel when I went to London for a two night stay, it was a travel package which included coach travel down, we didn't know where we were staying until we got there and believe me if I had have known I wouldn't have gone. The outside looked okay and the lobby didn't look too bad either but then we went in our room, it was very dark and dull and very dated, it was fairly clean though. The toilet and shower were seperate the toilet needed updating also, there was tiles in it and they were cracked and looked as if they had been stuck on by somone who didn't know what they were doing. There was no bath just a stand alone shower squashed into a cupboard that was hidden with a door. The food- The travel package included breakfast and tea, there wasn't much choice, if your fussy your stuffed basically, and it was all cold...

...In my life, I had stayed in, to my knowledge...three hotels. When I made plans to go to London for a week over Easter, naturally I had to work out some sort of accommodation! I didn't have any preferences, apart from the fact that it had to have free wireless connection. I had stayed in just the one hotel in London prior to this trip, and that was the Travelodge. That was just a little trip with the school Campaigns and Fundraising group to claim an award, so I had no involvement with booking. So when I went to check the price, I discovered it was going to cost me around £80 for a night! I really didn't want to pay that, so further rummaged around the internet to see what I could find... First impressions are good, the front of the hotel has glass front so that you can see into he spacious reception area and into the bar and lounge area.
