Review of LongIsland, NewYork
Advantages: clean, luxurious, location, characters Disadvantages: cleaner stole but would have happened in any resort hotel
...When we came to be looking to book to go to Disneyland Paris we obviously had to spend a bit of time thinking about the accomodation that we wanted to stay in. Most of the people I knew had stayed in the Hotel Cheyenne which was one of the cheaper hotels on the resort but we decided that we wanted to stay closer to the Disney village and parks and so we decided to stay in the Hotel New York...
Advantages: peaceful, pretty and warm. Disadvantages: Lot of the sales people in the outlet malls speak very little English
...not as bad as it sounds as the 1st crossing was 1 hour 20 minutes but the 2nd and 3rd were only a few minutes long. Cost about $100 but saved a lot of driving.
There is a bus and train service but a car is really essential.. However, we took a bus ride into New York City, 3 hours on a comfortable bus, which included muffins and cool drinks. $28 and came back on the train at 3 ½ hours upstairs...
