Aveda Loose Powder
Advantages: great finish
Disadvantages: smallish pot
...This is my new favourite loose powder (which was previously Lancome). What's special about it is that it's the first loose powder which never irritates my skin, even if I don't wear a foundation or base underneath. My guess is that's because Aveda don't use mineral oil in any of their products, unlike most powders on the market. (it does contain talc though, so won't be suitable for those who have a sensitivity to that). The other great thing about this is that it's absolutely compatible with every other foundation I've tried it with - brands ranging from Maybelline to Nars and Boots to Sisley. Most powders work with some brands and not others, but here the colour and texture always stays true....

Loose powder with a flawless finish
Advantages: Natural look with a flawless finish
Disadvantages: Messy
...I use boots 17 advanced wear liquid foundation but never used to use the 17 pressed or loose powder which went with it.
I've always used a pressed powder by a different make but I thought I would give loose powder a go as sometimes I feel pressed powder feels and looks to thick on my skin.
I have used other boots 17 products and have been fairly pleased with the results.
This loose powder is a micro-fine, translucent powder and is also fragrant free and Dermatologically tested. I paid £4.99 for a pot of this powder which came with a blue screw lid. As you take the lid off, it look a bit like a talcum powder bottle as the pot has little holes so you can shake out the required amount you need.
I tapped some of the powder into the lid and dipped my brush into the lid to apply it that way. This was very easy to apply...

Max Factor Loose Powder
Advantages: Good price , nice packaging
Disadvantages: Looks unatural , doesnt stop shine
...I recently purchased some Max Factor transclucent loose powder from Boots, i paid about £7.
The packaging is a simple black oval pot with the max factor logo on the front in silver writing, inside is a small, flat powder sponge and a lid with holes in so you can dispense a little out at a time onto the lid to apply.
I thought the price of this powder was quite reasonably priced as i usually pay £11 for another brand of loose powder.
I thought the texture of the powder itself could of been a little finer and it seemed to contains lots of lumps/clumps of powder, my immediate thoughts when i opended the pot was that the colour was very orange looking for a transclucent shade and it didnt look very skin like.
I found this quite tricky to apply as the lid is very hard to pull off, when i finally managed to pull the lid off i...

Wet loose face powder?
Advantages: Feels fresh, dewy, wierd!
Disadvantages: Quite expensive.
...I wanted to try this face powder after reading about it in one of those glassy magazines that make you feel ugly and horrible. I really should stop reading them. But anyway, this magazine claimed it was really good for making your foundation look perfect and all dewy. From the description I was hooked and wanted to buy it. These magazines make you spend your money!
So I went to a major department store and couldn't find it anywhere, and eventually brought it on ebay! It cost £10.00 and a couple of quid for p&p.
It looks like ordinary powder, in expensive looking container and a nice brush to apply it.
I tipped some of the powder out on to the inside of the lid and then dipped by brush into it and applied it to my face after putting foundation on.
And WOW! The powder felt WET and COLD! The feeling didn't last for too long...

Get Loose with the Women!
Advantages: Funny, some great debates!
Disadvantages: B List celebrities!
... Loose Women
Loose Women is a daytime TV programme which is shown 5 days a week on ITV, from 12 (midday) to 1pm. The show is on Monday to Friday, just after This Morning.
The show is aimed mainly at women, who may be unemployed and with a young family, people who are home during the day, so the age range which they cover is from young students right up to old age pensioners, and everyone in between.
Although the show is aimed at women, there are men who follow the programme, and who go to the studio to watch the show been filmed and aired.
The show is live everyday, so you are sure some laughs!
Who is on the show?
The show is hosted by 4 women everyday, this group of women change weekly, but there are a larger group of women who take part in the show:

Are you Loose enough?
Advantages: Entertaining, informative, varied, great panel
Disadvantages: only on five days a week!
...About six months ago, I was sitting at home flicking through the channels on television, trying to find something to watch whilst eating my lunch. Nothing seemed to grab me, until I stumbled over iTV (STV for me in Scotland), and saw a programme which seemed worthwhile watching. Four women were sitting behind a long desk, giggling away over something. What was this strange programme? Well, it turned out to be none other that the fabulous lunchtime television show; Loose Women! From that moment, I was hooked?!
*****
Loose Women was first broadcast on iTV in 1999, with its original panellists including Kaye Adams, Jane Moore, Ruth Langsford and several others. Since then, the show has seen many great presenters and 'loose ladies', interviewing a massive selection of superb guests, five days a week, Monday to Friday.
The...

Loose reading!
Advantages: entertaining, funny, memorable, topics, stylish, price
Disadvantages: n/a
...?could it be? Yes? A Loose Women book had been released earlier in the year and I shamefully hadn?t known about it! Well from that very moment I decided I must have that book! ?Loose Women: Girls Night In? must be part of my book collection!
When I discovered the book, I wasn?t too sure what it focused on. All I cared about was that it was a Loose Women book. For those of you who do not know, Loose Women is a lunchtime chat shop which airs on ITV each lunchtime weekdays from 12:30 till 1:30. On each show there are two celebrity guests, sharing interesting stories about their career and life. The guests may be a highlight but nothing makes the show the marvel that it is unlike the presenters! On each show there are four in the panel, from a pick ?n? mix of eight main panellists.
Coleen Nolan: Now a television presenter born in 1965...

* Women - Let Loose! *
Advantages: Funny , Light , Interesting
Disadvantages: Some Stuff Already Seen On The Show!
...Every now and again , I find myself sitting down at lunchtime watching an episode of lunchtime.I wouldn't say I'm a massive fan of Loose Women , but it is the programme I always watch if I happen to have the television on while I'm eating my lunch. I wouldn't say it's my favourite television programme , but I wouldn't say I dislike it either! To me , it's one of them programmes that you just have to watch.
Loose Women is a British lunchtime television programme which is broadcast on ITV1 from Monday to Friday. The show has run since 1999 although I only first heard about the show about four years ago. The show is mainly aimed at women , although I do know of a few 'men' who are quite happy to sit down and watch an episode. The show aires between 12:30 and 1:30 pm on a weekday.
The show consists of a panel of four famous women who...

Letting Loose online
Advantages: attractive, well laid out, friendly members
Disadvantages: addictive
...In 2007 I fell in love with a TV show. It was something I'd not heard of before, despite it being in existence since 1999, and it was definitely unlike anything I'd seen before. Loose Women soon grew to become my addiction, something that would get me through the day and giving me my daily fix of gossip and laughter. It's something that truly amazes me, but what is it really all about?
Loose Women is a daytime chat show, which is made up of a 'panel'. This panel however is not scary like that on Dancing on Ice, and they're not there to criticise you like the judges on the X Factor. No, our panel is made of of four women each show, from a pic n mix of presenters and celebrities. There are nine loose ladies who we see on a regular basis:
Andrea McLean is one of our two main presenters of the show, and she keeps the rest of the panel in...

...Ok, this is a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine but whenever I have a day off from work I watch Loose Women as I am eating my lunch

Loose Women is a lunchtime discussion/magazine show on ITV at 12:30. It's on for an hour and a panel of four women discuss a number of topics as well as interviewing celebrity guests. It is currently on its eleventh series (I think, there have been so many that I have started to lose count!).

There is one main presenter would does all of the announcements leading up to advert breaks and competitions. In this series it has been alternating between Jackie Brambles and Andrea McLean but for many of the previous series it was Kaye Adams.
