You will see a blue sign: "LAX Shuttle Airline Connection" The correct Metro bus only comes about every 15 minutes and will have a sign saying "METRO RAIL" The LAX shuttle makes the loop of the terminals for passengers connecting between airlines.. GENTLEMAN SAYS: GANGSTA RAP MAKES NOISE IN HOOD

Advantages: 'My Life', 'Money', 'Cali Sunshine'
Disadvantages: 'Bulletproof Diaries', 'Ya Heard', 'Let Us Live'

...the scene until 2006 (although it feels as though he has been around forever). The title of the track represents the two styles you would expect to collide, as Ne-Yo is well known for being a presentable R&B star with a large collection of love songs. 'Gentleman's Affair' is not as good as the other Ne-Yo featured track that appears on the Deluxe Edition, however it is one of the most listenable tracks on L.A.X. Chrisette is a Grammy-nominated R&B singer and continues down the trend at this point of the album with artists you wouldn't really expect to be making appearances, although Chrisette has previously worked with Jay-Z and Nas. The Game's Farewell To 'The Game'

Advantages: Highly varied
Disadvantages: A couple of tracks weren't as strong as the rest

..."L.A.X."(Life and Times) is the third, and supposedly final, album by the Compton rapper, The Game. I say 'supposedly' because many rappers have claimed to be retiring in the past, but it doesn't happen too many of those times, so I doubt that an artist with only three albums under his belt and a record label with no mainstream artists will just call it quits. 1. "Intro" 2. "LAX Files" The Game kicks the album off in a big way as he challenges all the fake thugs out there who have no idea of waht it's like to be subject to a Gangsta lifestyle; where your life is constantly under threat. With a haunting piano to back it up and the utilisation of the screwed techinque, you feel intimidated by the lyrics which he comes out with, making those who it is directed to question whether they should continue to do so. **Three Stars...

Salou, Hotel Los Angeles

Advantages: Beach, Scenery, Monday Salou Market, Close to Barcelona, Cheap (there and presents to bring back)
Disadvantages: Some people - don't go if you don't like being pushed out of the way by locals!

...What a wonderful holiday! We searched the Internet for ages for information on our hotel prior to our holiday and found nothing - so here you are for anyone else interested in going! Hotel Los Angeles is 5 minutes from the beach, less than one minute to the bars (across the road!) and less than one minute to the restaurants and shops. It is very commercialised - you don't feel like you're seeing much of Spain, but the cheap prices for everything including our holiday and beautiful scenary and beaches make up for it. The hotel itself is a bit more than basic - it has 2 twins and either a single or bunks in the two rooms we had between the four of us (myself, my boyfriend and two friends, all early 20s). A bath and shower and TV (only CNN English speaking). The walls are paper thin. I would not recommend it as a hotel for light...

Fear and Loathing in Los Angeles

Advantages: Didn't stay long enough to find out...
Disadvantages: Intimidating for first time visitors.

...along La Cienega up to West Hollywood, where our Ramada Hotel was waiting for us. One peculiar feature was that all the furniture in the reception was made out of glass, so on your way across to the elevators, you keep whacking your shins on virtually invisible coffee tables. The jet-lag wasted us. At three in the morning we were wide awake. The time warp logistics of losing hours and gaining hours during air travel were always beyond me, and I couldn't get my head round it. Back home, they were all sipping their second cup of coffee of the morning. By midday the next day, we were ready for bed. We emerged into a pastel Los Angeles morning. We were the only people out walking on the streets. The only other people who go by foot in LA are other Europeans and the joggers. It's an incredibly vain city - every other shop is a gym...

Visiting Los Angeles

Advantages: Lots of places to visit
Disadvantages: people

...If you go to LA for the first time you will probably think it is great but daunting at the same time as I did. It has the best art museums you will find, but the people are very vain and arrogant, similar to people from New York. Arriving at LA International Airport called LAX, you can pick up free 24 hr shuttle buses which link you to local buses.Finding a place to stay in LA is the hard part if you are looking for a bargain! I sayed at the City Center Motel which cost $90 per night which sounds a lot but is cheap in LA. Places to see are obvious; Bunker Hill, Broadway, Hollywood, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, The J Paul Getty Museum which is free from tues -sun and Anaheim-Disneyland which costs $33 but includes all the rides, but the queue's are terrible esp for the Indiana Jones Adventure....

...Any review of Los Angeles - unless contained within the covers of a City Guidebook - can realistically merely ‘prick the surface’ of what is to offer in this sprawling metropolis on the West Coast of America. I’ve tried to cover what I have personal experience of during two brief visits to the ‘City of Angels’ • HOLLYWOOD – MOVIE MAGIC On our first visit to L.A, we stayed at the Holiday Inn, right on HOLLYWOOD BOULEVARD. Alas it is no more – it was demolished last year to make way for a huge development to include Cinemas, Shopping and a new home for the Oscar ceremonies. But it was pretty neat to stay there all the same and could almost literally step out onto the ‘WALK OF FAME’. You’ve seen it on TV, documentaries etc – all the way along Hollywood Boulevard...

Advantages: Sprawling exciting metropolis with tons to do

...Here are my top 5 tips on Los Angeles 1) Be prepared for mad driving conditions. Driving on the huge 7-lane freeways is a great experience but takes a bit of getting used to. The main thing is to plan where you are going before you set out - the signs clearly show interconnecting roads and destiantions bu8t you don't want to be fiddling with maps as you drive 2) Don't miss Universal Studios. This is great fun theme park for all ages. Very young kids may prefer Disneyland but for anyone else this has more thrills and more interest. The T3 ride - a 3-D combinations of film and actors is fantastic. 3) Hollywood is good fun. Go on a tour of the stars homes which is full of gossip. You may just see lots of gates and driveways but it gives you a feel for the town 4) Catch a movie. You can't do to the city of Hollywood and not see a movie...
